well, I live in Rio de Janeiro, and so everyone knows more about the forest and it's inhabitants, I dedicate this blog entry so we can all share our diverse nacionalities. ESPECIALLY if your brazilian XD. So, to say, we can learn more about the people around here for once! THNKX. Post which country you or your family come from, city is opcional.

To start commenting in my own post, I state that I was born in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, but I also have a french passaport. My mother's family is native Brasilian though.
At home we speek portuguese (NOT SPANISH, BRASIL DOES NOT SPEAK SPANISH) and french occasionly. (brasil in portuguese is written with "s", so sorry if some times I mix myself up)

I know I have French in me though, maybe some Dutch and German but I, for the life of me, can't remember. I've always been amazed at the number of different places players are from!

I myself am from Canada, currently living in Toronto. My family are Canadian for many generations but I remember being told when I was young that we were also French, very very long ago. Sadly, what little blood from France I happened to have didn't help me in school and I never learned French (other than bluffing through the one credit I needed lol). Other than that, I love Canada and am very thankful to have been born here! Laughing out loud

Oh yea, forgot to mention my nationalities. Quarter German from my mom, quarter Turkish from my dad, and half Circassian from both. I bet hardly anyone knows what Circassian is. |D

As far as my genealogy, I know for a fact that my mom's side has Irish (supposedly English and Scots-Irish too), and my dad's side has German and Sicilian (supposedly French and Spanish too).

The Canadian accent where I

The Canadian accent where I live, to me, just sounds like that kind of 'neutral', unremarkable accent newscasters use. But I also live pretty close to the U.S. border so I don't know if you'd even be able to tell if I was Canadian or from Michigan or somewhere like. I've been out to the East Coast and there's definitely a different kind of accent there, kind of Scottish kind of Quebecois maybe? I'm not really an expert on languages. Laughing out loud

I see there are mostly transatlantic posts. I'm from Finland, feel free to ask anything but to rule something out; No, there are no polar bears or penquins here, aside from zoo.
