Where? I appreciate that the Path took up a lot of their time, but it saddens me greatly that I have not seen a post from them for months. The LiveMap hasn't been fixed, and the front page hasn't been updated, even though there have been countless gorgeous pieces of artwork worthy of the position.

One of the things I loved about this community was the sense that the creators were as much a part of it as the players. I feel very distanced now.

I just hope they return to TEF soon. I know it's not a money bringer, but in case they haven't noticed, I have seen many people here making an effort to raise money for the cause. And I applaud them greatly Smiling.

This really is a whiney post huh? -gigglesnort-. But even so, I do wonder where they have gone....

Me too. It's been months since the LiveMap was fixed or the front page updated. Not to sound impatient or rude, I mean, I know they have a lot on their hands, but still.

Last I heard, they're making another game. :/
Perhaps the fundings they'll get from the Path and this new game might benefit us aswell in future...

It just saddens me rather. I used to be a fairly active member of this community (under a different name, of course). I miss having contact and a kind of intamacy with the creators. It was nice to feel that your ideas were being taken in, and thought about.

Cheack out the other site thingy it does say what they are upto on there, they do pop in now and then, They never seem to take a break from programing and such who knows if we are paitent we might get a nice supprise.

it's not whiney Sticking out tongue i feel your pain as well,i cannot see if any of Mute's friends are online and i noticed the front page is the same as well....i also noticed you can't contact some certain people,is this because of the bugs? or is it for some other reason.

Indeed, and it's not like they dont have the money to improve TEF either. I'm sure they have a bit to spare from the Path ._.

I too find it sad that they seem to have "left" TEF.

Of course, they'll see this and make a surprise Abio like what happened last time this was mentioned to make us think they are there. But Abio's...sure they're great and all but...they dont fix the sites problems...or the games issues....

I mean, my pc can barely even take it in a mini abio, with graphics down so I can only see the ground and stuff xDD

It seems our creators are

It seems our creators are overlooking their older child (TEF). Not having a working live map is a real pain, and it has been a very long time since it went dowm. Surely it could have been fixed by now, along with some of the other bugs on the community site. I understood before when they were woking on the Path, but assumed they'd do some work on TEF before moving on to another project. Now, with Fatale in the works it seems unlikely we will ever see another live map or a Version 4. I know that they switched servers a little while back, but his has had little effect on the Forest, so far as I have noticed.

M&A - are you planning to leave TEF by the wayside in favor of your newer games? We all appreciare your work on other projects, but this Forest is like a second home to many of us. The Number of deer in the Forest gets bigger all the time, and the occaisional Abio is lovely, but is ANY work being done on a newer version? We're terribly curious. I'd hate to think this is the final chapter of TEF.

Yes, again I will say we appreciate there work and I don't want to be harsh M&A,
but all you reply with is "We still cannot find funding."
Okay, that tears us all apart, yes including you two but... are we trying to get anymore funding?
So, we have the Greenleaf Project, thankyou to everyone who's helping and cheering them on...
but we still don't seem to be looking fo rany funding?
In my opinion, we will end up getting not enough money from Greenleaf project, the money goes towards somethig gelse that hopefully gets us somewhere with TEF, (but won't) and poof TEF will eb gone.

K I am over exageratring but... it's all I see. Seriously. <:|

I'm right with Custard on this one. It must seem like a step backward to put in new work on an older project. There was vitually no break between the release of the path an the announcement of Fatale. I fear TEF, in spite of the massive interest it has generated in players, no longer inspires the interest of her creators. I also suspect that we may be raising funding in vain. Who's to say that we'll even raise enough to cover the cost of the server switch over?

The future of TEF is so distant it seems invisible.

As an artist, I feel joy and pride at them having moved on to greater, newer, and more polished works, such as The Path and I wait anxiously for the release of their newest project!

As a member of this community however, I do feel the sting of regret as bugs continue to play havoc with The Forest. With little to no hope for a 4th installment, I know that many of these bugs will go unsolved...

Personally like i think that perhaps they like the path cuz it gets them money and since like we don't pay we're less important but come on, surely by this point they have to be working on the things that are wrong with the site, you know the live map, the front page, the fact we can't change our names and post comments tirte

M&A also surprise abio;s may be fine if you are lucky enough to be there at the rite time but like it is better if you tell us in advance

I swear they said they'd work on TEF after the path didn't they?
<:c Face it, you can say TEF has been abandoned... or atleest for a long while.
I find it hard to say this but... I doubt theer will be a Phase 4 |c I can't even imagine one.
I can imagine them working on it, but giving up or something... running out of money...
Pff. If no one wants to fund for it (apart from us) then there isn't much chance.

I don't htink they enjoy TEF anymore. The other games are more of the aim, since they are probably more popular.

Arhhh I don't know.
