Well howdy.
For those of you who were here way, way back in the day, I'm the player formerly known as "AnimalArtist" and my main characters were
Martisol and her (unfortunately not played enough) brother,
Validus. For those who came to the forest well after 2012 and have no idea who I'm talking about, don't worry about it. Who they were isn't going to be important to anyone other than those they knew in the past.
A few mini tidbits about me:
- I'm a Computer Science major who is literally about a month away from graduation and freedom.
- I've been active in the Elder Scrolls RP scene since about 2013.
- I still like to draw and have improved immensely since I've last been here. Here's something at least semi-recent that I'm proud of.
- I really like symbolism and literary devices and they're probably going to be rampant around here if I really get back to RPing on here.
- ...I don't think there's much else to share that's really relevant, honestly.
So, as I mentioned, I'm going to be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks since graduation is just around the corner (so long as nothing goes horribly, horribly wrong)
plus I'm having a few minor game issues [Fixed!]. So I may not be as active as I would like to be starting back, but I'll be around when I can.
In the meantime, I'm going to be starting development for the character I'm going to try to focus on here:
Sage. Mostly because I don't even know how I'm going to play her yet, if she's going to be more serious or more like a fun, not so serious character, etc. I might make a page where I brainstorm and sketch out her adult design and things like that, so I'm hoping that'll be fun and help me get my creative juices flowing. For my older "main" characters, I think I'll likely have them stick around as "hey they might pop into the forest every once in a while for kicks" kind of characters (unless something drastically changes), but I'll probably make them mini-bios for reference when I get the time to start doing all that.
But that's about it for now. I'll leave some contact info here, just in case!

@Leotie — Honestly, it's
@Pega — Honestly, I'm barely on dA, too. My gallery looks utterly sad. Maybe that'll change... one day... pfft.
Hello nice to unoffically
I'm gen 5 and had the square issue whilst halloween 'weather' ( which was hadnt had gen5 integrated to the code apparently) was active - for me it fixed up when the weather went back to normal. I dislike windows 10 but maybe try running something like ccleaner and flushing dns?Sounds like ssmething is being retained yourside rather than server side.
Oh!! Dude, hi! I was looking
I'm not quite sure what could be causing your problems, but it looks like some friendly folks have already offered help (if I'm wrong, I blame the fact that I'm on my phone and I've been up since 05:30) so hopefully things will be resolved for you soon.
@fluere — Thanks for the
@FishBiscuit — Aw thank you! If I wasn't so swamped with other things there would be more recent art to show, but real life likes to get in the way. |D Glad to see you're enjoying what I do have up there, though! And yes, I do hope I can get stuff resolved. But if worse comes to worse, I still have my laptop to work with, so there's hope there I guess lol.
EDIT: bumping to see if anyone else can help with my issue, since I've tried just about everything now.
I remember you!! Welcome
Sorry I can't help with your problem though. I refuse to run 10.
Thank you! I'm still loving
And that's alright. My problem actually miraculously fixed itself yesterday when I brought my computer home. It seems hooking it up to a different network/internet connection was the fix (or unplugging it, but I doubt that one). Odd, but I'm not questioning the good juju lol.
