These deer are from Nara in

These deer are from Nara in Japan.. they're considered sacred and have roamed the village for hundreds of years. Apparently they roam the streets too <3

Hee hee that car waited until that deer was completely out of the crosswalk. The fact the deer knew to use the crosswalk is what amazes me the most xD

ooky- these guys are considered messengers of the kami in Japan so I think it's pretty much forbidden to intentionally harm them. Smiling

And I agree, they started walking and were like 'oops, gotta be in the crosswalk!' xDDDDDDD

I was going to ask if it was common in Japan for deer to be found in the city like that, but I guess my question was already answered. |3

They probably have seen people using the crosswalks.
I think deer are smarter than most people give them credit for.
