Another work in progress, and this will be a great opportunity for you to create some new creature ideas.
Anirapio's homeworld,
Ibuzon, is home to many feral creatures that her species preys on. While sadly all animal life on Ibuzon ultimately goes extinct, little is known about many of the species who live on the jungle planet.
That's where you come in!
I'd love for you guys to design some alien creatures to inhabit Anirapio's world. There really are no limits, and as for designing them you can either write a paragraph description or do artwork (or both), whatever you prefer. Just post in the comments and I'll update the dictionary! The only things you need to keep in mind are that Ibuzon is a dense jungle world and that the Daog (Anirapio's species) are dominant much like humans are here on Earth.
Also Spore-based screenshots are fine for showing your creature off

Achak
The Achak has a nimble body, slender much like a wild dog, but has small, delicate feathers that lines the body. It has a snout much like an anteater, and similar to the Earthen species, it uses its long tongue to lick out nectar from the otherworldly flowers on Ibuzon. It has four eyes in total - two large and two small, one of each on either side of its snout. Its snout is lined with a few horns that was its only means of protection. It has paws much like a cockatiel or a chameleon, used to climb trees and stalks effectively.
Achaks are non-aggressive and avoid conflict by climbing up tall trees.

Baeek
Baeek are tiny, tiny hemaphrodite creatures that live off the metabolic juices in a Daog's stomach pouch. They move in when a new Daog is born but die after around two weeks because of the juices that they feed off. If excreted by the Daog, the Beek cannot live.
They are around the length and shape of a human's little finger and always a muddy brown and dark green in colour. Baeek have no eyes but instead hairs all over them that are linked to nerves. These hairs also act as a way as sticking to the Daog's stomach pouch. Daog hardly ever notice it's inhabitants, even if aware that Baeek live with them.

Daog
Its body changes with growth. It always has a wyvern-like body, but can regrow legs and mantis-like claws if lost or extra pairs are needed. It has a long 'pouch' (more like a tube) that runs the length of its belly, and a slit on the tail. It has no mouth on its face, but does have nostrils to breathe. The wings are fairly large and dragon-like, and it has wing-like fans on its head. The Daog is carnivorous and effective hunters, swooping down from the air to pick off prey. It devours other creatures whole and sucks muscle and liquids from the prey's body, extracting what is left through the tail. The Daog are a proud and boastful species, enjoying every moment of the suffering of others. Their bodies have high metabolism so they are constantly hunting and eating.
Female Daog are superior to males on the planet, and an instinctual 'rule' for the species is that a female will choose a suitable male and mate with him. However, after mating, the male Daog must surrender himself to the female. He is quickly devoured by the female to provide sustenance for the newly forming baby Daog. Those males who disobey this rule will be hunted down and killed by other Daog and the body is given to the female who mated with him. The process seems brutal, but it keeps the Daog species from growing too quickly, as one new baby is born, one member of the species must be killed.
In addition, the process of devouring the female's mate keeps her body from eating away at the fetus, since their high metabolism often results in accidental fetal mortality. Their bodies will literally eat at the fetus growing inside them if there is not immediate sustenance in the female Daog's body.

Kibaru
The Kibaru is a bird-like creature believed to share a distant ancestor with the Daog. Like the Daog, Kibaru have no mouth—instead, they have a digestive tube running from a slit on their chest to an opening in their tail.
The Kibaru's "beak" is actually a sharp spine that it uses to skewer insect prey and insert them into its digestive tube. It also uses this spine to lift bark and stones when hunting for insects. Although Kibaru are flightless, their long and powerful legs allow them to move quickly and easily through Ibuzon's dense jungle.
Because Kibaru cannot communicate vocally, they use more spines in their wings to create a
vibrating sound used for courtship and territorial displays. They are also hypothesized to communicate with members of their own species through a sort of rudimentary telepathy. Kibaru may flush out and stun prey with weak but focused blasts of telepathic energy—similarly to how Earth dolphins use supersonic pulses to stun fish. Like dolphins, Kibaru have a visible
melon; instead of using it for echolocation, Kibaru may use it to amplify telepathic signals.
These creatures are social, often nesting and hunting in small groups. They lay one mottled-green egg per year. Both Kibaru parents protect and feed their small, downy offspring until its head-spine is developed and it learns to hunt.

Kiuu
The Kiuu are an omnivorous species on Ibuzon, though their physiology makes them prefer a herbivorous diet over a carnivorous one. They often scavenge food when they find it. The Kiuu are extremely tactical and are a thriving species due to their advanced instinct.
The spines on the Kiuus back would be use as a defense mechanism for when the Daog tries to devour it. It curls up and the spines would stick anyone who tried to grab or eat it. In addition, Kiuus have a poison within the spines.
Unfortunately, much like a bee's stinger, when they stick, they come out. They're fairly quick to regrow but there can be cases where all of the spines have been used and it is totally defenseless. The tactic the Daog tend to use is to sacrifice one of their own (generally a male Daog since females dominate the planet), who out all of the spines and dies from the poison. The defenseless prey is quickly overtaken by another Daog. A small price to pay for a food source since there are plenty of male Daogs on the planet. In addition, the Kiuu species has an exquisite taste to the Daog and is considered a delicacy since it is so difficult to remove their spines.
Away is a notable Kiuu, who as a representative of his species is a strong, silent type, riddled with scars and a sense of justice. He is very determined to find a solution to the seemingly endless predation of his species, so he is naturally very bitter toward Anirapio and the Daog.

The Packal
Packals are wolf-like creatures who live in packs. They are brown with a white underbelly and a black stripe down their back. They live in packs and are very social, which is why packals rarely leave their pack. When they do leave, they'll look for another pack. Usually the pack will accept the packal.
Packals are carnivores, so they hunt. They are very fast and usually the prey doesn't stand a chance. Packals like to explore a lot. They love to discover new things about the environment around them. Especially if they find a new pond. They love to swim.

The Thisicus
The Thisicus is a dragon-like creature almost equal in size to the Daog, if not larger. Its head is large and shaped something like a Venus' Flytrap, its neck is short and thin, and its body is small of chest and wide of girth. It has a long, thick tail, with a large club on the end with blunted spikes on the sides until the end, where there are two longer spear-like horns used to attack prey and opponents. It has short T-Rex-like arms, with two fat fingers and a thumb, all of which pointed with claws. It does have wings, but only males have wings large enough for flight and mating displays.
The Thisicus has a large underbite and two fangs jutting up from either side of its bottom jaw, reaching well over the Thisicus' head. To capture prey, it has a gape wide enough to leave roughly 1/4 of a fang length between the tip of a fang and the top of the mouth.
The eyes are small, round, and placed on the sides of the Thisicus' head. They have horizontal pupils, much like a goat.
Notes:
Females are roughly 1/3 the size of males and have much smaller fangs and wings. They are also less bulky.
Most common colours are greenish beige, mahogany, or black with pale cream underbelly and black markings of spots, splotches, or stripes of any sort.
Eyes are usually gold, brown, black, red, or silver.
Mouth insides are always black.
The male Thisicus has brightly coloured wing undersides for courtship displays, usually vibrant shades of orange, lime green, or electric blue.

Xiuliotiothus (Xiu)
The Xiuliothiothus (Xiu for short) is a colony-type creature that appears to be a fusion of several large snakes. The Xiu's stomach is connected to all members of the colony - if one eats, they all benefit from the food source. At the minimum there are three heads, though the maximum amount of heads is virtually endless (though the most ever recorded was ten). Generally five or six are a suitable amount. It balances on the tails, with the bowl-shaped belly cavity facing up to capture prey.
The Xiu resides in trap holes, beneath ledges and in valleys. Anywhere it finds suitable for catching prey, it will live. It has a very low metabolism so it hibernates, waiting for an unsuspecting creature to fall into it's belly cavity. At the moment the Xiu feels the trapped creature, the heads awake and start to lash out and bite the trapped creature until it dies from mortal wounds. The Xiu then eats chunks of the body until there is nothing left. It devours bones whole and can digest them for calcium.
The hole in the center of the belly cavity can be opened up to drain water or blood that fills into the cavity. It runs all the way down to underneath the creature where the tails reside.
Xiu can live for years without eating, though death by starvation is common if it chooses a poor place to hunt. To continue the species, one head will bud off and slither away much like a regular snake, and when it chooses a suitable place it will grow the additional heads and body.
As a side note, Xiu are often
infected, making escape seemingly impossible as the belly cavity will begin to infect the prey before the heads work on killing it.

*nodnodnodnodnod* That's a
Added some more onto the Kiuu species. Also I'm trying out Away in the Forest, he's got Blixt's picto on.
I believe that I am going to
I never really suggested it,
Ah, I haven't made a fantasy

Tracking ^^ creation of
I'm tempted to work something
Cool cool! I'm planning on
Edit - posted a drawing of it, I'll get a description up soon. It works much like a venus fly trap, waiting for prey to fall in. Much the opposite of Anirapio's species, it has a very low metabolism so it hibernates in trap holes and under cliffs sides until an unlucky creature falls in.

Got the Packal added, thanks.
Eh...a little stumped. I'm trying to think of a clever name for my hydra creature at the bottom of the list, but just can't think of anything. Anyone have any good ideas for a name for them?
Here's one for you, I'll post

Don't know how to post Spore
Anjali, that is an awesome
Bluedeer - try pressing the 'prt scn' (print screen) key on your keyboard, opening a Paint document, and pasting the picture there. That's what I did to take pictures of my spore creatures.
track.. maybe i could come up
I shall track
And if I find time somewhere, I will definitely see if there is anything I can do to draw something for these awesome creatures~ 8D
