And done.
I had an idea and I'd like some thoughts. I literally just had it, it's poorly thought out and I've no idea if it stands a chance in hell of working, but I thought it was pretty awesome.
Hear me out?
I would like to create a fawn, I will post the Username and Password to a journal that will actually be the fawns bio.
The idea is to create a sort of multiple personality deer or something like being John Malkovich where there is a portal that leads different "Lost Souls" into the fawn.
Basically, anyone can play the fawn/deer as they would like and can make changes to the bio, add updates, write stories, draw, anything of the like for their time as the fawn. Heck, more than one person could play it and give it a finding itself moment. It can be male, female or anything in between depending on who plays it.
I don't know, I have tons of ideas on the little guy and not a lot of organization in my head with it. I suppose it would be a community thing...Anyway! Thoughts? Ideas? Tell me it won't work? Love it? hate it?
I leave it up to the community.
I actually really like the
See, that is exactly the
I really, really like this.
I say... go for it... that
that really sounds like an awesome and interesting idea ^^
... also funny if there are two persons deciding to play it at the same time
^oh god if half the forest
IDENTITY CRISIS
Hm, that's an interesting
Perhaps it could be a spirit of sorts which can split into multiples and becomes solid or transparent? I don't know. Just throwing things out there. X-D
Well yay! Better reception
Alice - Wouldn't it? I would LOVE to see what would be done for that day in the updates. xD
Fawn - "Today I found myself." xD
lmao Baal
I had this idea a long time
LMFAO! OMG Kao! That would be
Anyone remember the toefat
omg this is an awesome Idea!
Ffff...Okay. I'm gonna do it.
Done. :3
I /love/ this idea. I just
:3 And that wouldn't be good.
I'd suggest putting up some
^ Agreed. Eeyup cx
Ah! Very good idea Aivilo! I
I think I'll do that tomorrow along with some rules/guidelines.
If anyone at all would like to suggest some rules or have any thoughts to add I'd love to see them. I'll get a better layout to everything up tomorrow. Unless someone beats me to it. xD
Also, I don't know if the TEF
..That sounds horribly confusing.
Let's try that again.
Person A and Person B click "edit" at the exact same time and have a copy of the exact same code.
Person A adds his/her new text, and B adds his/hers.
Person A's new code does not contain Person B's. Person B's does not contain Person A's.
Person A submits before B.
When B submits, A's code is erased - like it was never put up.
I haven't had this happen with TEFc because I've never tried having two+ people edit the same blog at the same time, but I have had this situation happen in other places and it can be frustrating if you've spent a lot of time writing and have not made a copy somewhere before submitting your work.
TEFc may give the "you cannot edit this page" error and (hopefully) leave what you've written intact in your preview area, but I'd recommend taking safety steps to anyone who decides to contribute, just in case.
I guess the folks who're tampering with the journal right now might be able to say whether or not it's been a problem so far.
Edit: Looks like folks have started up a bit of a color ID thing at the bottom of the journal.
It's going to get pretty long pretty quick, though, I would think xD May be better off on another page or in a larger scroll box to the side or somesuch.
I wonder if it would be better for users to keep themselves anonymous, or if they should be allowed to say which they play if they feel so inclined.
I imagine artwork will give the artist players away at some point.
Yes, Aivilo, that error does
I get around it by copying my text, going to the blog again via My Blog, then pasting it in. (:
But it's still a pain, haha!
Also, I don't mind if people redo what I did with the layout. It was really all on a whim for organization. 8D Plus the backgrounds were chosen mostly on a "that looks alright" basis. >>;
...Though it would be preferable if everybody didn't try to redo it at once. ;D
lol, Yeah, so far it seems to
And yanno, if someone know how to make tabs, that could work for it. Set a tab for conversation, tab for rules/guidelines and a tab for the participants. It'd make things nice and neat. ^^
I, personally, find most of the fun is in the not knowing. :3
Haha. That error catches me
Yeah, I'd imagine it could be pretty annoying if several people were trying to update at once and kept bumping each other off xD
Edit: Tabs sound like a good idea.
I'm not very good with them, but there's a blog on how to set them up somewhere.
You have to change the way the blog's coding works, though - from BBC (or whatever it is) to HTML - or the tabs go crazy.
lol, Yeah. xD I think they
Edit: Ick, I know nothing of coding. Maybe some kind soul will give it a non-catastrophic try. xD
lol. I can try at some point,
I can try at some point, but someone will probably beat me to it because I'm not on very often lately.
Good luck if you do! ^^ I'm
Question. I know they are
I know they are lost souls in one body, but when you say "give it a finding itself moment", what exactly do you mean by this?
As in, they are finally at peace, free?
Could they be reincarnated, become their very own character?
In time, of course.
Would this be a deer that ages, and always has souls/personalities coming and going?
I'm mostly just curious what happens when they find themselves.
Oh, the finding itself moment
You know, I'm kind of hoping these 'colors' do escape to make their own characters in the forest. I honestly think that would be amazingly fun! I really don't know if they are trapped ghosts, personalities or what, but I think, with a little bit of guiding here and there by those who play them, this could turn into a really fun event that at least some could get a real character out of.
At least I hope so! xD
I agree, I think that would
