Once your deer is grown you will need to get another deer to cast most spells for you. We are unable to cast magic on ourselves, it's part of the cooperative goal of TEF. There are a few things you can do yourself, try discovering them while you are a fawn.

You could try combining actions to lead the deer to the spell you need, or you can put up a thread here asking for the set pieces you want and providing your pictogram so someone can find you.
