Red clashed with black, blue with the vivid brightness of the other. She snuffs softly, nose lightly skimming over the backside of one ebony rich ear, touching the thin skin and sighing as her head bowed to the fair little one. Though she stood over in protection and love, it was she who bowed her head in submission to to the delightful black butterfly.

The black bundle at her hooves cooed with contentment at the brushings of her dark nose, his own muzzle lifting, brow bumping her chin as a kitten would, and he so purred alike.. the vivid orb that shone wide and bright on his brow peered up to her, as did his dark pair, half-lidded with sleep. He envied her for reasons he couldn't find words for.

Large ears swung forward to the little sounds made, neck twisting to shine a blue eye down into the large colorful pool and gazing at her prize with a tilted head.

Then her head raised, ears alert and looking around, stamping a back hoof and shifting her tail, almost looking as if she were to take sudden flight before crumbling down over and around the black pile of fur and innocence. Front limbs cradled him up front, crossed lazily in front with bosom resting lightly in the back, neck arched over and letting a dark tongue roll out to kiss down the slender pale muzzle of the treasure she had collected recently.
