Hi, I'm new.

Don't exactly know who is going to read this, but I might as well give it a shot.
If anyone wants to give me some pointers about the community, I'd be much obliged.
I'm very much an avid artist and roleplayer, so I thought this site looked appealing, but I have no clue on what sort of character to make - what would their goals be, what they would look like, etc, so I suppose it'll be a while until I have one up.

When it comes to character-ideas...I tend to start from the setting, so maybe try associating some ideas about deer around in your head for a bit? I've always been fond of the image of the white hart you find in Arthurian Myth sometimes, if that helps.

Hello and welcome! Always delightful to see a new member! The community is really rather straight-forward; be polite and nice, check the old blogs before asking a question in case it might already have been asked, although it's no crime to ask again, it's sometimes difficult to find the answers you're looking for.
The general coding used around here is CSS, and there are several blogs dedicated to explaining it to us poor people who can't really figure it out.

Besides that, I don't think there's much to say; so welcome and I hope you have fun! ^w^

Hello and Welcome : ) Ideas for a character? Well, technically I don't really have any characters. I just play for the sake of playing in the forest. But if having a character is what tickles your fancy, then I would probably suggest something with a unique design. You're an artist so I'm sure you could create something really awesome. I personally like playing with deer in forest who are a lot different from others. I like a challenge too - but when I say challenge I mean interacting with deer who aren't exactly very social. It's fun to show them the gentle side of the forest and try to befriend them. It can be really hard sometimes... Buuuuuut anyway i look forward to seeing what you create! X)
