I joined Endless like four hours ago and I have no idea what to do or what the heck is going on like all I'm doing is following people around desperately trying to communicate to them to PUT THE FREAKING MASK on me like what is this about roleplaying?? Making characters? You can't talk in the game?? Help help help help I don't even know where to read a guide or post a question. I love roleplaying and consider myself like mediocre to above average and I freaking love everything in-game or whatever so far so if I someone could clue me in on what I'm supposed to be doing? How do I become a tiny deer? what is going on????

If you have trouble communicating in game (since there is no chat or anything in it) you can read how to act here => http://tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/. Just click "Forest actions" in the menu and it'll pop up.
Otherwise, what you do basically is talk to awesome people, maybe submit art and create a good character for yourself. Write something, explore all categories and enjoy your time~

Relax, you'll get the hang of it. That's what the fawn period is for - to learn how things work and how to 'speak' the language. Don't stress about the 'how' and just be observant and do what comes naturally. Someone linked the actions page above, and that's a good place to start. You may also find this page and the links on it to be useful.
Also, you'll find that magic (like masks) doesn't last long on fawns, so you're likely to lose it just as quickly as you get it. Some people like to try to keep sets saved to their fawns and re-load them over and over, but be warned it can be tedious and frustrating if you choose to go that route.
