Hi there. I'm EyelessVoid and I finally mustered up enough courage to write something haha I'm lame oTL.
I did play a few years ago for a short time, (not sure if I was registered or not though). I never really sticked around, guess I just wasn't that interested at the time. Now I'm pretty excited to play though. It's such a unique game.
I stalked the forums in the past few days (even at work when I was bored xD), and even before I decided to register, and saw that characters are a thing here. I'm only familiar with creating fandom OCs (mostly anime though), but I already have an idea for a deer character, even if she's not supposed to be a youngling (and for now my deer is still a fawn). I guess I'll just wait until she grows up and introduce my character then. Plenty of time to finalize both her design and characteristics, and maybe make some art and a makeshift bio or something so that's good.
If you guys have any advice, I'm all ears. Is there like a 'must know' or faq section, things I have to keep in mind, like posting rules? I did do some searching, but mostly about the game.

I'm excited to see how your character turns out! The creation process for characters is something I always enjoy seeing, so if you ever want feedback or want some ideas thrown your way, don't be afraid to ask.
We don't really have any rules, though we try to encourage everybody to be peaceful and considerate of others.

I might post the concept before releasing the character, I do have an idea about what I want and I’d definitely be curious what others think. I have this slightly eerie concept in my head (I’m currently watching a lets play of Fatal Frame II so I can blame that maybe), drawing it will be a challange though, but I AM soOOoo READY.

If you ever need any help, everyone here is very friendly and will be glad to help you. Don't be afraid to speak up! I know it may be daunting (for me, even after two years, it can still be a little scary), but the community is a kind one. This is why we don't have set rules and moderators to supervise us - we take care of ourselves and rarely do we have any problems. As long as you are polite and respectful, you'll get along just fine here!

I'm glad to hear that, and yes, it's always a bit intimidating posting on forums, especially when you're new and don't know anyone, but it's a step that has to be taken since there's no fun in just lurking all the time
