Ok, before I go on about how

Ok, before I go on about how awesome the art is, I must say that 'manart' is now my favorite new art category/genre/term lmfao

Anyway, love the fading on this and the hair is sheeny without looking like it's made of plastic.
The Pine cone birthday cake (pie!) is heart-meltingly adorable :')

I don't usually give art critiques on gifts, but I feel you can only benefit from it and won't take it badly. Only thing I'd say could have been improved is the detail on the ear, specifically the inside. Some ridges could be helpful on similar future pieces.

Simply beautiful, as all your pics are, Light! –envyenvyenvyenvy- I love his face – if you look very closely you can even see his red eyes shining out. =D And he has pointy ears!
And I think you captured his expression perfectly... the picture has this kind of wistful and lonely feeling about it... as if he remembers his past and thinks about his life and how he can't change it, but still hopes to... (at least that's how I see him...)
