Forgotten password

I have forgotten the password I've used on a separate account, and I cannot have another resent because on that account, I have used an email address that I cannot access because it does not exist (it's a long story involving a glitch that I had to bypass using a fake address). I suppose the only way to resolve this issue is by emailing the staff, but I'm not sure what their main email address(es) are. I can log in to the game with the account I use because the password is automatically there, just not on the forums.

Can someone please enlighten me?

Since you say you can log

Since you say you can log into the game with the account right now, you can actually find out the password yourself.
If you go to the userdata folder (located in The Endless Forest folder of your computer), you'll find the Preferences file. Open it in Notepad and you'll see a lot of gibberish. But there's some understandable things in there too.
If you scroll down, you'll eventually find "username text" followed by some gibberish and the account's username, and "password text" followed by more gibberish and the account's password.

The reason for this is the Preferences file is the file form of your deer. If you were to log into another account, the file would change so it'd be for that deer instead and have their username and password in place of the other's.

Thank you, Pegasicorn, for the information. I've now scanned through the gibberish multiple times, but I can't see "username text" or "password text". Do I need to log into my account and then search through? Or should I just give you the file so you can have a look yourself?

It's usually past the middle.

It's usually past the middle. Easy to miss. Try using the search function (you can bring it up quickly with Ctrl + f) and searching for "password".

You are looking at the

You are looking at the Preferences file and not the userdata file, right? Just making sure, because I don't know why it wouldn't be in there.

EDIT: I know you got your password already, but I looked at the note you sent and after doing some comparing to my own files, I think you were looking at the Spelldata file instead of the Preferences file. The way the gibberish began matched how it is in my own.
