January 11, 2012 - 10:05pm — Rutilus
Welcome to my latest roleplay blog c: I don't care if you don't know me, haven't roleplayed with me before, or haven't met this character before. Please. I love talking to new people and roleplaying and I don't bite, I swear ;; ♥
I'll be using Keith, as the title implies. Forest or Human is fine; just tell me which one, who you're using, and a particular setting or even plot that you have in mind. If you'd like to start the roleplay first just go for it; I hate making decisions so I'll go with anything. Otherwise I'll probably be happy to start. c:
Replies may occassionally take a while for me to get around to, so forgive me. ♥

"Keith, how can
"Keith, how can you--Eugh!"
He did not like other places, new worlds that he had no knowledge of. It'd been a mistake, and now he didn't know how to fix it.
Austere didn't like not knowing things.
The sorcerer's sharp hooves sunk into disgusting wet earth that moaned everytime he touched it. The fur around his hooves had become matted and dirty with mud. He'd tried not to look bothered, but he couldn't help it, he looked absolutely disgusted. The one thing he did like however was the fact that just like in the human world, he was much much taller than the little scruffbucket. Though in stag form, his body was incredibly thin, neck swan like, elegant. The creature ducked beneath the scrub of willow trees, eyebrows knitted as his large form lumbered through the undergrowth.
"You look rather stupid, you know." He stated, trying to save face, put Keith down to make himself feel better.
[ Syb; |: hurry I love you
Xylv [ oh you're starting something what are you ill ]
It was a real disappointment, being so small in this body, and without antlers despite the fact that he'd checked several times and he was definitely still male. Regardless of his small, scrawny build, however, Keith found that he actually liked the forest, even if it had a subtle way of trapping him inside. He liked being a deer; able to run and leap and bound and not give a damn, although admittedly, not having hands was a real challenge. No music here, he supposed.
Another upside was that here, he'd discovered that magic was incredibly easy to use. It was trivial, he knew that, and quite pointless too - but it was still magic that he otherwise would never have known how to use. Unlike the haughty sorcerer, Keith actually had some idea now of how the place worked. It was calm, tranquil - a far cry from the terrifying and dangerous Otherworld he'd come to despise so much.
They were opposites; Keith was trotting along in the mud quite happily, tail flicking happily, quite dog-like - although of course, had someone pointed it out, he would have torn their throat out. The scrawny, scruffy stag didn't give a damn about getting dirty; he lived in filth anyway, didn't he? Just how it was, with him.
"Don't exactly look stunning yerself," was his laughing reply, unfazed by the sorcerer's insults; he was used to them, after all. "Imagine if we were stuck 'ere eh? Stuck in the mud, an' I mean if it rains, man, yer screwed...yer hair'll get all wet an' muddy an' horrible, it'll dry frizzy..." A cackling snicker; he grinned up at the far taller stag, neck craning to do so.
Admittedly, he envied the antlers.
Tracking for now. I will want
(( I guess I'll join out of
"You know He has a point hehe!" A small voice came from behind a nearby bush. "Why worry about looking good when your going to get dirty again any way." A small frail looking doe fawn stammered out, the deepness of the mud nearly tripping her. Although you couldn't tell from her mud caked fur she was purple, and very small and thin for her age but still strong.
"Besides mud is fun to bounce in!" She then tried to bounce but her feet stuck in the knee deep mud as a result she feel forward sending a hoard of mud towards the sorcerer.
"Eh...oops sorry...." she Quickly moved in behind the other stage and peeped from behind him...
"So sorry..."She smiled sheepishly.

jnts732; Oooh thankyou for joining! Unfortunately I am awful with roleplays with more than one other person D: You could start a new one with just Keith and your character, if you like. ;;" ]
[So I eventually decided on
Syb [ OH MAN you didn't think
Quiet, wasn't it? Keith still wasn't used to drinking from the pond, not trusting the water, knowing that all the deer stood and played and rolled in the stuff. He guessed that they washed wounds there, too, since it was the only source of water available that he'd noticed; Keith hadn't explored the birches before. So far he'd opted only to drink from the perpetually crying statue that seemed to birth the river, wondering where the hell the water actually came from. He'd have to ask someone, sometime.
The scruffy, scrawny stag pushed himself up to his feet, not for the first time wishing he had hands to grasp onto things with. Or at least antlers. Antlers would have been nice, but no, he didn't get any, and he couldn't figure out why. How was he supposed to defend himself against the massive tines he'd seen some does wearing?!
Keith sniffed, ears pricked as he trotted from the river, making his way towards the ruins; forever intrigued by the decaying, crumbling building. He suspected it might have been some sort of church once upon a time, but for the life of him, he couldn't figure out how it would get there in a forest filled mostly with deer. Mostly with deer.
"...Oi..." Keith muttered to himself, turning his head this way and that as he realised there was someone nearby, paranoid about being watched.
Boring. That's all this
It wasn't that she didn't enjoy the peace, the tranquility of it all... but it wasn't that she found it particularly interesting, either. Most of the deer... things... she'd come across were asleep or just lazing around with each other, leaving the striped doe alone most of the day, wandering about and trying to somehow find a way out of this vast and seemingly endless forest.
Eliza passed the ruins again, huffing slightly and blowing a loose curly lock out of her eyes. The church, or whatever it was, had been almost intriguing the first two or three times she'd stumbled across it. But now it was just old news, an ancient building slowly falling to pieces. A curved ear flicked a fly away absentmindedly, and even this didn't amuse her. Once or twice those strange involuntary actions made her chuckle, though now she just ignored it, trudging through the forest with a frown creasing her forehead.
But suddenly, she froze. Ears pricked up on their own and the doe listened, ears straining. Had she... had she heard a voice? No, the forest -- it must have been making her mad. Something. Eliza still decided to listen, eyes swivelling and scanning the area slowly, until she caught sight of something. It was the first time in these past few days she'd actually come across another deer that seemed to be active, or at least awake. But she still wasn't sure whether approaching one of these peculiar cervids was a good idea, and instead opted to wait for the creature to come to her. Eliza didn't even want to speak to it, so she decided to keep her lips pressed tightly together, though her head tilted ever so slightly.
