Hello...*shy* I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place.
I discovered The Endless Forest recently, about two weeks ago. I love the concept, the atmosphere, the graphics...it's both fun and relaxing after a long day.
Now that Halloween has apparently come to the Forest, my fawn Anjali and I have had a blast dancing, masquerading in pelts and masks, and seeing the (terrifying) Big Zombie Deer for the first time (not to mention running after it when it wakes!)
Today was an extra-special day in the Forest, however.
I wandered out by Twin God statues--where the Big Zombie Deer was conked out---and laid down next to another deer. The deer moved a little closer to me and laid down again. Somehow, we got to running and playing in the Forest...leaping and laughing and chasing each other about, casting spells. You stopped in a mushroom circle and turned me into a flightless raven, and we played like that for a while too!
We ended up near the Ruins, and then we saw something amazing: a great deer of the brightest red dancing with many other deer--an Abio disco! Was it one of the gods? It was incredible!
Afterwards, I led you to the Drinkplaats to play, and soon there were rabbits and frogs and squirrels and deer all running about. Eventually, you laid down outside the mushroom circle and I came to lay down next to you. I had to log off, but you stayed by me and kept me company.
I don't know how to post screenshots, but: You were wearing a black-and-white pelt with orange spots, a black mask, and big red moose antlers. Your pictogram was a circle, and looked like it had a sort of "KI" shape in the middle. Anjali was wearing a monarch-butterfly pelt, candle antlers, and a peacock mask. Whoever you were, thank you for playing with Anjali and looking out for him, and for sharing an amazing romp in the Forest with me. It was really touching, and brought a lot of sunshine to my day.
That sounds like it might be
Here is her pictogram and here is her profile and deer bio.
She's a friend of Rire's :3
Welcome to the Forest!
XD I'm glad you love the
"As for the gods...yes it was
That's correct.
Aw, I'm like grinning now.
I'm so happy you posted here... I tried looking at the map to find out who you were, but you weren't showing up no matter how many times I refreshed. I think the map gets fickle with so many deer in the forest.
I enjoyed today as well--your little Anjali kept up amazingly well and was so much fun (but nice and mellow after all that romping, which I appreciated!) I'm sorry I missed you saying good-bye, I was looking at another window. I thought we might never meet up again and I'm so glad to see this post!
"Was it one of the gods? It was incredible!"
Yes, indeed! My first time seeing that too, haha. I'm afraid we missed a good portion of that, but we'll catch it again some time.
Ravus loved Anjali. Welcome to the forest... I've only been here a couple months but if I can help with anything I'd be happy to. We will be keeping an eye out for your little fawn.
So this was the cute little
Definitely worth missing a bit of the Abio~
Thanks everyone, for
"So this was the cute little

Haha, yes it was.
As you can see, I bragged to Shaku a bit, Anjali, about meeting your cool fawn. I'm so honored to be one of your first friends in the forest. You can count on Ravus being there for him, he was too much fun and his company meant a lot to me as well. I hope we'll be able to learn more about him? A biography page, perhaps? No pressure.
(And I loved his set! xD)
EDIT: I want to show you this page--it may help you locate your lost screenshots. I'm unfortunately not knowledgable about computer-related things, but I found mine stashed Under /C: >> Program Files (x86) >> Tale of Tales >> The Endless Forest >> Screenshots, I think. It's a bit of a pain to find, but feel free to make a board if you have issues with this game. No board is really considered spam here.
Okay, thank you, Ravus. I
I am planning on making a bio page for Anj when he's a bit older...although I'm already bursting with ideas about what I'll put in it! But I do want to sort of "figure out" his character a bit more first.
Ach, I wish I could be of
I'm so looking forward to seeing Anj's bio! I understand needing a bit of time, though. It'll be fun to see what you come up with.
Anjali; Is there a

Ok; I've found the

Please tell me if you can see the picture. It works on my computer, but I know things sometimes end up looking different for others than they do for me...
Ahh, thank you, Shaku! I
Aww... aww, yes, I do see the picture; it looks like you have it figured out now! That was near when they departed, wasn't it? ♥
I didn't take as many screenshots this time because I didn't know if we would meet you again. Believe me--I'll be taking more now that I know who you are. Anjali is officially always welcome to spend the day with Ravus if he's not out doing, well, fawn stuff. Fawn stuff is important, too!
I had no idea that people

Me neither! xD Cracked me up how the other deer kept up with the pursuit.
Ohh, sometimes it's hard to tell when other people's computers are glitching, or if people are multi-tasking, or if their deer are just stubborn, etc. xD I barely noticed it at all though; you kept up fine, but that's some of the fun of the forest--you don't know what's going on at the other person's end. xD
That hopping-while-standing thing does happen if you stand/sit too fast I've noticed... like if Ravus is sitting down and I press the "listen" button, she'll spring up, but then not be able to move until I have her lie down again. xD That tree thing was just funny.
That picture is so cute! You can reduce the rate that the gold glow appears by reducing the level of nature detail (I have mine at the lowest), just so you know--although I like the glow sometimes. Such a sweet little dove; thanks for visiting today! I love that quotation in your signature by the way.
