Eulengesicht (pron: Oil-en-guy-sht), or Eule-hoo (Oily-who) is presently a laughing ball of feathers and fur who rockets her way about the forest. She is half-owl-half-deer, does NOT fly but CAN glide and jump like crazy. She HATES the cold snowy ground right now and avoids it every chance she gets by riding around on other deer's backs and antlers. She is very friendly and loves just about everyone and is always glad to make new friends.

Who-hoo are you? No friends yet, just people she's met... Would you like to be one too?

Eule-hoo has a feathered face and feathers that trail down her back all the way to her long feathered tail. her front legs are a bit shorter than her back legs and furred/scaled on top with long gliding feathers that trail along their backside. Her front feet are clawed with two toes and a semi-opposable 'thumb', her back legs are long and slender and end in common deer-like hooves.

As she grows the black on her tail will cover the entire top (while the underside will remain a very contrasting white) and become longer. Her 'wings' are mainly used for gliding, and she often uses her talons to help her grip trees while perched or climbing, and to hold onto antlers quite well.

In forest currently: A Fawn, thus no distinguishing markings + poppy flowers. However if you draw or spell spam her the secretary bird pelt is her coat of choice.

Eule or "Hoot" as she is often called, is vaguely similar to a Peryton (part bird, part deer). She is currently my plaything as I toy around in the forest and get my bearings once more.

Hoot simply is here, she currently has no history other than the unwritten fairy tale in my mind that has yet to be put onto paper. She is very friendly and will play with/befriend anyone who will tolerate her company. She is not at all shy and is fairly fearless most of the time (except when spotting a deer 'vanishing' into the black smoke... she'll hide behind other deer and cower for a bit when this occurs as it scares her to no end...), and has a little bit of a temper and a very strong stubborn streak. She will do her best to be polite to all the deer around her, but will sometimes take to following random individuals for no apparent reason, regardless of their grumpy actions. (Though if they indicate they absolutely do NOT wish to be followed she will respect their wishes.)

Hoot is curious; mischievous; playful; friendly; and loves to make new friends.
However, she can also be unsocial; quiet; melancholy; lonely; wanting quiet close company and a nuzzle now and then.

Favorites:

Low branched trees
Tops of giant flowers/mushrooms
High places she can climb/glide to to 'roost' and watch the goings on of other deer
Dark quiet parts of the forest
Flowers because they smell so nice!
Giving flowers to others because it makes them smell nice too! <3
Stags with large antlers which are perfect for perching in < ^.^ >
Warm backs for curling up on when the ground is cold
Hugs and snuggles and DANCING <3

NON-favorites:

Thick mud where her legs get stuck and mucks up her feathers
Open spaces where the deer in her feels vulnerable
Extremely enclosed spaces such as thickets, where the owl in her feels trapped
Sudden loud noises
Devout pelting swarms, which are just annoying
Very bright sunlight, which hurts her large night-eyes
