This is the drawing I made for my character, Maggie.
For the people who haven't read her bio: I'll give you ONE guess as to what kind of deer-other animal crossbreed she is. Read more to see the answer.
To those of you who guessed cow... You're only partly right.
She's half Texas Longhorn!
So this picture took three days(?) of on and off work, and I must say, I like how she turned out. Especially since this is my first ever attempt at a deer-cow. Second stab at a deer.
I'm pretty sure I got some of the muscles wrong, but you know... she's a science experiment (had to look up how to spell that -_-' ). You guys know how bad scientists can screw up.
And I messed up on her eye color. Its supposed to be a nice hazelnut-gold color, but it turned out looking a little green (on the original, anyway).
Yes, I know the left antler is cut off. I did the antlers almost last and I didn't want to redraw everything because the tip of her antler didn't fit. And yes, that's my real pictogram.
I used Roseart and Crayola colored pencils, black pen, mechanical pencil (.7), and a buttload of refrences. Did you know that Crayola black and Roseart black are two very different things? Yeah, I used Crayola black because the Roseart one looked grey next to it.
This will also be posted in her bio, so this pretty face will be in TWO places at one time!
GO LOOK UP SUPER COW. I DARE YOU.
I've always thought about
She's a cutie! I was
I was suspicious of her antlers and when I read that she's a crossbreed, I was all "Awwhh yeah!" : D (I'm a Texan <3)
And her eyes don't look green at all on my screen. Looks like you hit hazelnut-gold right on the mark.
.
I'm a Texan too! Of course I
I was a bit at odds with the antlers too. But I think they turned out great. Longhorns have the prettiest horns. Just don't know whether to call her antlers horns or not.
Her antlers/horns turned out
.
Hortlers. Weird. Makes sense
I love this design, so much.
Yay for fellow Texans! :'D
I love her so much. I
Woah, proud! Thanks! She
I'm finding so many Texans! Yay!
