under cut
Name: Magnolia
Nickname: Maggie
Gender: Female
Age: Two years or so (young adult in deer years)
Species: Deer/Cow Crossbreed (and other genes)
Appearance: Maggie has a black-and-white piebald pelt (Orca), her white antlers with pink magnolia flowers entwined in them stick out to the side like a Longhorn's (Red Flower default antlers), and she wears a Venetian Carnival mask in the forest. Her eyes are as golden as hazelnuts. Her fur is short and bristley, and her tail is very short with a tassel-like poof at the end; looks like a slightly elongated deer tail.
Build: She's stockier and slower than a normal deer, but stronger and able to take a hit. Her legs are thicker than a normal deer's and she has more muscle mass, giving her a "deer on steroids" look. Maggie's head and muzzle are wide, and her antlers start at the sides of her head instead of at the top, and arc up in a slight U shape. She's about four feet tall at the shoulder, or
#11.
Personality: With a sweet disposition, Maggie is hard to hate and friendly to everyone (in her own way). She sometimes has flashbacks to her past, and she's awkward around others due to lack of socialization in her childhood. A "gentle giant".
She very rarely gets angry, but when she does... look out. She doesn't fear much; although she isn't the tallest deer in the woods, she's prettty sturdy and believes she could hold her own in a fight. She has no fighting experience, though.
Not much of a party animal, but she definately prefers being around other deer. Maggie'll follow the group, even though she might not really talk with anyone. Not a social butterfly, that Maggie.
Maggie, like most does, is unhappy with her appearance. She wishes she were small and long legged and elegant like the other does in the forest, instead of the bulk she is. Because of this, she can be envious.
When she first came to the forest, she would hardly speak to anyone, because the human faces on some of the deer scared the snot out of her. Since then, of course, she's adapted to it and barely notices a difference anymore.
Scent: A mix of lingering lab chemicals that never quite go away and her warm, dusty smell like a favorite stuffed animal (c'mon, we all have them); all covered in forest scents.
Voice: Low, not enough to be called deep, but definately lower than a regular doe. A little bland when listened to for a long time, but warm and sweet.
In RP, her voice is in MV Boli.
History: Born in the Plum Island Animal Disease Center, Maggie was created to save the American deer population from a mysterious disease. Her father was one of the strongest stags still alive, and her mother was a Texas Longhorn, known for their hardiness.
She spent her early days in the labs along with her half-brothers and -sisters (her father and several other stags were bred to many heifers), pumped full of chemicals and constantly monitored by the scientists to make sure they became immune to the disease. Shots containing the disease were given to the fawns starting with miniscule amounts and increasing the dosage until the final test: 24 hour exposure to a deer's body contaminated with the mysterious disease. The ones that didn't make it were dumped in the ocean to avoid a decrease in funding.
Soon after their first birthdays, the remaining fawns were flown all over the States in hopes of saving the deer population (although there is speculation that the disease and mutts were only created to produce beefier game animals). All except for Maggie.
Instead of being released in a forest along with her siblings, Maggie's plane was thrown off course in a storm. It flung the little aircraft far out into the ocean and broke their navigating devices. Desperate to land, the pilot crash landed in a clearing surrounded by tall trees the likes of which no human had ever seen before. And won't ever tell the tale of. The pilot had been distracted by the beauty of the forest that had appeared out of the clouds and landed all wrong. The jar of the landing snapped the pilot and co-pilot's legs, and most of the fawns inside the plane were killed upon impact. Maggie had been sleeping, despite the stress of travel, and since she was lying down she had little more than bumps and bruises. Her crate hadn't fared so well, and she was able to get out fine. Maggie heard frightened cries coming from a few of the other crates, but they scared her, so she squeezed out of a gash made in the side of the cargo hold by an especially strong oak. She found herself in an endless forest, inhabited by colorful, magical deer. She adored magnolia trees she saw there, and put their flowers in her antlers. Other deer began to call her Magnolia, because she had not been named while at the PIADC. The name stuck, and she now happily resides in the Endless Forest.

Because ALL the best biographies have to have disclaimers at the bottom! XD
EDIT: Maggie will become my in-game character, as I'm creating another character that will only be in roleplays on the site. I may roleplay with Maggie a bit, but she will definately be the only one in-game, since her personality is more like mine and I don't manage character personalities well in real-time roleplay. Turn-based is more my style (:
^3^ this is great, nice job
I love this character! Track
I'm so glad you two like her!
Oh- why is she unhappy with
Nicely unique character. Nice to see she's not another 'small and shy' female stereotype
And her history makes me wonder- I hope the few fawns that survived managed to break out of their crates. c:
oh, right, and... track! tend to talk too much..
She's always around tiny
And it would be great if other players wanted to create their own deer-cows who made it out of the crashed plane! Then there would be deer on steroids EVERYWHERE! We could have reunitd friends from the labs, lost loves... it would be a party.
Ahhh I absoultly love your

Maggie now has a favorite
Chopin's Raindrops is Maggie's fav tune. Its a soft, sleepy song that's very calming to her. The humans usually played it around lights-out to wind the animals down for sleep. There are suspenseful notes that brought her many exciting adventure-dreams. It pops into her head whenever she's in a very calm mood or is falling asleep.
Ohmygerd, I'm listening to it now and I can barely keep my eyes open.
Omg I just listened to it 2!
