Slipping... (Old artwork & melancholy)

Just going through the archives of my old artwork...

Evil Google Images...

Don't you just hate it when you're trying to find good reference pics on Google Images...

And you keep coming across those evil, smug-looking redneck "hunters" sitting over their sad-looking "prize".

Sickens me.

Connect without automatically logging in?

My account is currently set to join the Abio server, but for a while, I'd like to go roam about the normal Forest as a Nameless.

But every time I connect, the game auto-logs me in, and I can't see a way to stop it happening. :/

Can I make the game forget my account details for a while?

Livestreamin' for a bit (offline)

(Are you reading this today? The date: 21 Sept 2010)
Trying to finish up eyestrain's deer today, but I don't know how far I'll get. I'm battling hot temperatures and a nagging headache. Sad I may periodically go inactive to rest my eyes, and there won't be any music.

Which fawn just helped me aquire my set?

Just wanted to say thanks for sticking with it, because it took ages to get the right pelt. Smiling

And a massive LOL for me falling off the bridge 5 minutes later and losing EVERYTHING WE WORKED FOR. XD

A wild MOOGIE appears! (Also, commissions, anyone?)

Eep! I seem to have disappeared for a while. Rest assured it was for no particular reason, on the offchance anyone was overly concerned (but probably not Sticking out tongue).

TEF is still a very deer (dear) place in my heart, though, so even if I do get distracted from time to time I will eventually wander back to my forested home. Smiling

As a side-note, life's not been too generous lately... I'm in a bit of a hard spot right now. So, I was wondering if those animated siggies I was making a while ago, are still enjoyed? Is there still a demand for them? Because maybe I can open up requests again... but I'd really need to charge a small fee this time. As painful as it feels to take money for such enjoyable work, I have always short-changed myself, always felt bad about taking money for anything, but to be perfectly honest right now... I need the help. :c

So, if I was to do that, I'd let people completely customise what they want from their deer animation. I'd be able to make any pose you want, doing any animation you want. Sitting peacefully as a butterfly flits about, frolicking playfully in the grass, multiple deer interacting with eachother, the options are pretty limitless. If I made GIFs, the animations could be used almost anywhere, but they'd just loop (not so bad for simple things). But SWF animations could be even more complex, behaviours could even be randomised so that it truely feels alive, the only problem is most other forums don't allow SWF files (they do here at TEF, though) but they could still be used on personal blogs and such, so that's still pretty cool I think.

I feel confident I could make some really wonderful custom work, like the first batch of running/walking deer that people seemed to enjoy, the only problem is I can't start doing it for free again. Sad But If there's still any interest, I could work out pricing and other details and take it from there.

ARGHFJKDSLFJLGJS *Vents frustration D:<*

So here I am, NINETY FIVE PERCENT DONE with Sithrim's deer anim, and there's this one little bug where his neck 'jumps' oddly as it moves. But only on the preview/export.

I've been sitting here studying it, frame-by-frame, and it does not happen. It's not there. Nothing happens. ...Until I export it.

I'm saying to myself "There's nothing there... THERES NOTHING F^*$KING THERE!!!"

Yet there it is, in the preview. Mocking me.

I've even copied frames from other deer files, which I KNOW ARE PERFECT, and it STILL happens in the preview! I've even tried closing down everything and rebooting! What the hell, Flash!? What do you want from meeeee!!?

I can't finish this until I fix it; but I can't fix something that doesn't exist! It's driving me mad!

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *Pulls at fur*

But Flash loves doing things like this. Oh yes. This is nothing abnormal. It's such a horribly buggy piece of software. It's ruined so many of my works that I couldn't even begin to count how many times this POS has made mountains out of molehill tasks.
