Does anyone else hear extra odd noises in the Forest right now? I keep hearing this squeaky door-opening type of sound around me, and there's this one little tree that makes this weird harmonica chord every time I pass through it (I'm going thought it back and forth, and it makes that noise every time). I swear I'm not making this up! xD

Is this unusual or I am just not observant enough? Or does everyone think I'm crazy? xD

Stop leaving. Please, it makes baby Moses cry.

My mood just went from a 2 to a 7,730,673,348. I thought I wouldn't be able to play all year. =(

BIG TIME HAPPY FACE <3

TEF has become kind of ruined for me.

I liked this game because of is artistic merit, its simplicity and the fact that the game can stand alone without an objective, without violence, without written communication. It was a way to de-stress and relax in a quiet atmosphere, interact with other players with the challenge of no words.

When I came to the Forum and the community site, I was amazed at how nice everyone was to each other. People were helping new players, answering questions, offering advice, and having a good time. It put me in a good mood whenever I visited these sites, and I surprised myself at how "well-behaved" I was when I posted (you should see the stuff I write to other people on deviantART's forums, I'm incredibly sarcastic and sometimes insulting, always getting into arguments).

But now, this place is kind of saddening. Drama between players every which way over the most insignificant things, insults thrown, spamming, favoritism, ignoring people/posts, hatefulness, teaming up against other players, etc., and some people are now refusing to play the game because of it.

Is all of this really necessary? Can we grow up a tiny bit and act like adults? It's not too difficult to get along, or civilly coexist at the very least. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, because I think we could all benefit from a little maturity in some way or another.

I guess, to use a cheesy comparison, TEF is like a brand new Zen garden. It's fun to play around with, it's a little addictive, and it kind of relaxes you. Now, after a while of everyone using the Zen garden, some of the sand is spilled on the desk and maybe one or two of the little rocks drops to the floor and gets lost. Perhaps the little rake has been broken. It looks like a mess now, and it's definitely not as fun anymore.

I don't know- maybe I'm just angry that TEF isn't working for me anymore. =( But I've been observing this for a while. Feel free to put your thoughts about it here.

I just moved back to school yesterday, and TEF won't work anymore (I just realized, it didn't work last fall when I downloaded it either, it only worked while I was at home for the summer).

I can no longer connect to the network. =( I never solved this problem last year when it happened either. I know it has to do with the internet network I'm using, because whenever I'm connected to my school's network, TEF can no longer connect.

Halp?

But it seems that idiotic Fledermaus has lost his set. He did try around the Forest, attempting to ask if anyone would help, but I guess no one understood or had the time. He's as embarrassed as anything, and he would appreciate you a million times over if someone helped him out.

His normal set is the dark brown and gold striped pelt, the key antlers, and the magpie mask, but really if any of these gets cast on him he'll be grateful.

I'll have him sitting at the Ruins, if you'd like to assist (his pictogram is in my avatar). Again, he apologizes for wasting anyone's time.

EDIT: THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOOO MUCH! It was a group effort, with a nice victory dance afterwards around some unsuspecting sleeping deer. :'D Fledermaus is eternally grateful for your time and effort (I think I got cast with every other existing mask before the right one :B)

Fledermaus is minding his own business, simply sitting and watching other deer absently, when a nameless stag approaches and roars right in his face, closely followed by the taunt, anger, and rearing actions. Not one to show anything but politeness, Fledermaus steps backwards and shakes his head to show he wishes not to fight. The aggressive stag continues to lower his antlers and rear, so, despite the implied rudeness, Fledermaus starts to turn away when the stag starts advancing in the same way on a simple innocent fawn. Going against all judgment, he interferes with the bully's taunts and stands between him and the surely confused fawn as an uncertain barrier. This only leads this nameless stag on to follow Fledermaus for nearly five minutes around the forest, despite repeated shakings of the head and backing away. Finally, as if the two had just enjoyed a cup of tea together, the Nameless curtsied, nuzzled, and left Fledermaus in a rather upset mood.

I hate being picked for these random negative confrontations. :<
