I know I haven't been active much on here, but I do come in and stalk some blogs every once in a while xD

How are you all? I hope you're doing well and are enjoying your lives.
As for me, I am starting school in two days and I will be a junior in high school. I'm excited, nervous, kind of everything xD
This is the year when my school is going to have us focus on colleges and job options for the future. And I have some thoughts on this subject... and I wanted to share them with you guys and ask for advice because I know a lot of wise people on here and I'm comforted by the fact that I can always turn here for help <3

[warning, I tend to go on tangents especially on this topic, so I apologize ahead of time if this ends up being quite long to read hehe]

So... Ever since I could remember I've always wanted to be a singer. But as I grew up, I decided to be more realistic and changed it to being a therapist or a writer. And now, I realize that nothing gives me more happiness than singing and it's something I really would want to do as a career. But lots of people are telling me that I should just do that on the side and pair it up with another "more professional" career.

I understand that- the concept of having something to fall back on. But in my mind, I know that being an artist, especially now that everyone wants to be noticed and all that, is going to take a lot of hard work and if you want to pursue anything, you must eat, sleep, and drink it. You have to be completely dedicated and work hard. So going to college and pursuing a degree just so I have something to fall back on seems like a waste of money and time.

I personally wouldn't mind living in a crappy apartment, as long as I could make music and it was appreciated, I would be completely content in life.

Also, I have this gigantic fear of the end of the world.

Wow, I think it's been... 9 months? I think I've been inactive since December... for quite a few reasons. But when I heard that the TEF server might not be available unless ToT gets enough money, me and Ache-Heart decided to go on TEF yesterday (and will be going on again once I finish this post ).

So, here's some edited screen shots of our day and more information under the cut...

I'm sorry guys. I doubt that event planned will happen..
It was none of the collaborator's fault. I've been inactive on TEF in general for the past month because of studying for finals which definitely affected how I neglected my plans. I'm so so sorry...I really do feel horrible.
I have sent an email to Auriea and Michael to do an abio on the 13th or 14th for you guys in the forest on Dec. 13-14 and maybe provide snow through the 13-15th. Hopefully they will say yes...
But I can't tell you how sorry I am.

I'll comment again once I've gotten a response from them which will be within the next 24 hours so...til then.

One sunset evening, the sun was low in the sky. The sky was painted in its warm colors of orange, pink, and a very light purple. The Oak Guardian was lying outside of the Great Oak. She sighed with contentment as she gazed at the beautiful sky that bathed the forest in its golden light.

She looked at the flowers that she had decorated around the Oak. Though they were in full bloom, their petals stretched and swayed in the breeze, wanting and pleading for her warm breath. So, the dark red doe touched and breathed on each puff-like flower, as if she were kissing them all goodnight. They shuttered by her warm touch and their bright yellow petals seemed to glow. Once she had tended to all of the tiny flowers surrounding the Oak, she overlooked her work. Glowing yellow flowers dotted the ground. They seemed exceptionally bright since the sky seemed to ever so slightly darken. The pale purple color seemed to begin to cover the pink hues of the sunset light.

The red doe trotted to a nearby tree, reared up and kicked at the tree a few times. Then, a pinecone fell from the tree. Using her hooves, she broke open the pinecone and got to the core where there were seeds. The dark brown, small, seeds were then strewn on the ground. She scooched them in a pile and began to like the seeds up. They made a good, evening snack. Once she was done eating, she went back to the entrance to the Oak and resumed her post there as the Oak Guardian.

"A letter for Mariposa's help therapy company,

My dear friend, Mariposa seems to be undergoeing deep, deep depression. Dangerously deep. She was once cheerful, but now she wears a blank expression on her face and is interested in nothing. Mariposa has just not been herself for the past week or two. This beautiful butterfly is withering. So I am asking for some...help company. but she does need help. Nothing I do helps her. Her eyes are weary and tired and she's growing skinnier and skinnier. I have to force her to eat some mushrooms or blossoms. I'm very worried for her and I don't have the slightest clue of what to do now.

I'm here by the pond. Mariposa is sleeping now. Anyone can come to help me to help her.

Yup, ZiraBay will be giving birth in a few minutes (once I get into the game XP)
I mean, perhaps not too epicly since the fawn will just pop up there but ya'know..ya use your imagination! X3

That'd be awesome if she had some visitors/supporters there!

Where: In a flower patch near the Ruins. Specifically, west of the mushroom-pyramid circle.
When: Right now! 4:00 USA Pacific Time. Hopefully, she'll be there for a while, but don't be surprised if she suddenly disappears from laptop overheat! But that hasn't happened in a long while. I tested TEF out a few nights ago and it didn't shut down on me. Hopefully it won't happen on such a fun event like this!
