The Oak Guardian was keeping her guard at where she usually was - the Great Oak. Upon seeing the stranger stag approach her with a flower, she figured he was a participant of the Rut, as it was the current event in the forest. So, she quickly conjured up a flower by breathing on a small weed in which it turned into a blooming flower from being touched by her breath. She gathered it in her mouth and greeted him. "Hello," she said as she arched her neck up, blushing (though you could not tell from her dark burgundy coat). She was smaller than the average doe, so she had to look up to stags and the occasional doe.
The doe caught the flower in mid-air and she stuck it behind her ear. Then she strained her neck to reach to put her flower on the top of his forehead. She smiled. "I don't have a specific name. You can call me anything you want. What are you called?"
As her head ever so slightly swayed from side to side as she spoke so animatedly, her feathers of the "crown" around her head swayed like a smooth ocean. Her white feather in the center of her head gave complimentary to her dark golden eyes.
''nope only friends i consider my family'' he said with a smile thinking of his frieds. ''i think the rut is nonsens fighting for no reasen but to show of'' Eros said snorting and he looked back at her.
"Well, that's kind of the purpose of the Rut isn't it? To show off?" the red doe explained. "After all, stags do get competitive over does. It seems like it would only make sense for them to do so. Does play hard to get."

''maybe but i ain't really a fighter, dosen't have the antlers or skillz to win a fight there you hae to find somebody else'' he said and tried to look at his antlers, then he shaked his head and looked at her ''are you in the rut?'' he asked kindly with a smile

Yes, she is, hehe. And Ruby is my favourite. ♥

The stag sighed as another cool breeze washed over his back, sending a shiver down his spine. He grinned underneath his pale white mask, thankful for the shade it brought to his delicate eyes. Yawning slightly, he trotted through the birch, stretching the muscles in his legs as he did so. One could never tell what expression the male had under his grinning mask, but this time, it was a look of bliss, of happiness. He neared the playground, settling down on one of the warm rocks and exhaling deeply once more.
xD Hmm...I guess that could work. She could visit the fawn, but she'd be in a coma.
ffff I still have no idea what Mariposa's fate will be lD

The doe nodded. "Yes, I am. I'm sort of looking for a mate, but not that badly. I'll let it all up for fate to decide what will happen. I'm more in the Rut for the experience. But...I'm probably too small to be noticed in a big group of does and stags."

A small red doe trotted along towards the playground, to her second home, underneath the slanted rock that left an opening for someone to sleep in. Then, a white being came into view as she neared the large boulders. She ambled over to the deer who was sitting contently on the flat, smooth stone. A mini-burst of wind that she conjured helped her hop up on the rock gracefully; and as she did so, her feathers that acted as a "crown" bobbed as if they were extra fluff on an animal. She silently walked up to him from behind, not wanting to disturb the stag. "Hello," she greeted warmly.
I've changed Locke's appearance and set, so now he has the mini spell and real deer mask. Just letting you know, since he won't have that grinning mask anymore. c:

The stag turned to the source of the voice, a lazy smile already spreading across his muzzle. "Greetings." He dipped his muzzle in a friendly gesture before rolling his shoulders, exhaling as the bones popped. Attempting conversation, he spoke; "Nice day, isn't it?"
The doe dipped her head. "It is," she replied. She looked around from where they observed the forest. The forest was tinted with a pink-orange color. She liked it when the forest looked like this. It gave the forest a more eerie, yet lovely mood. There were more fireflies and bats that flew around the forest. The red doe sat beside her friend. "How are you?"
"Mm." He barely spoke, just lifted his head and breathed in the calm forest air, a few of the hyacinths on his stunted antlers falling and landing on his back, the purple contrasting with the white. "I'm quite good, thanks." Locke cocked his head. "And you?"
She kept her gaze up at the tall birch trees whos shadows fell upon them. So tall, they seemed to grow forever. Then she shrugged as she responded, "I'm alright, I guess. It seems like everyone is getting a mate now, and I'm just so small in this forest. And to be quite honest, it's been getting me down lately...Sometimes I wish someone would recognize my efforts....but I'm too small in this big world."
He looked at her. "Hey, don't be like that." A playful nudge. "I'm little too, y'know." Locke gazed upwards again. "You just have to wait for the right one -- they'll come along," he reassured her, his pink eyes still staring at the sky.
"Hmph, thanks," she said with a smirk. "I promised myself I'd be more optimisic this year, and I am. I'm really not as desperate as I sound, I know I can over-exaggerate sometimes. I'll leave it to fate to decide, but...Sometimes I am lonely when it's just me over at the Great Oak. Oh well, flowers are my love ♥"
He nodded. "That's the spirit," the stag giggled. "You're always welcome to join me, y'know." Another chuckle. "I'm sure that the flowers won't get jealous."
"Aha, are you sure about that?" she asked as she looked at him with her big, dark golden globe-like eyes. "The flowers actually have been getting pretty jealous. Especially the ones I still have to bloom. They all want to be bloomed and become beautiful flowers! Sometimes, I swear, they're so impatient with me. But I love them ♥ Which reminds me, I've been slacking off on my duties lately...Say, would you like to come with me to bloom the flowers around the Great Oak?"
The stag listened with interest about how she spoke of the flowers. It intrigued him, the way she talked about them as if they were deer too. "That'd be nice," Locke said softly, standing up and stretching the muscles in his forelegs.
The doe got up on her hooves and stretched a bit as well. She yawned and then said, "Alright, this way, then." She hopped down from the rock, creating a swirly gust of wind beneath her that allowed her to elevate more. When she landed on the ground, she turned and whirled the wind onto the stag, sliding him to the edge of the rock. She smiled, pleased with her work.
As the wind pulled him, the stag's pigmented eyes widened. "Heh. Cool," he mumbled, leaping from the rock and landing with surprising grace, next to the red doe. About half of the hyacinths on his antlers had fallen off in the process, leaving his stunted antlers naked and empty.
The doe smiled. Then her smile slightly faded as the pretty hyacinths fell off his antlers. "Aww," she wimpered. She bent down and collected each of the flowers. Carefully, she placed them back on his antlers and tied the hyacinths stem to stem by growing the ends of the flowers and connecting them to each other. She took a few stems back to examine the antlers. "There, is that okay?"
The doe looked up at him and blushed once more, but you could not tell from under her dark burgandy pelt. "Haha, thanks...With all the smooth talking, I'd think that you'd already have a mate."
The red doe shrugged. "I don't really care about looks," she said indifferently as she began to amble along the perimeter of the lake. "I mean, a stag should be good-looking and at least a bit attractive, but they don't have to look like some kind of divine deity. Looks don't matter much to me."
it lighted him up a little. he walked after her with a little smile ''well i don't know aout my look, but i have charm'' he said with a chukle ''i think'' he mumbled
