Moon Theif nodded understandingly and looked back at Pain and rubbed his cheek against hers, gazing deeply into her eyes, his warm breath on her ear. "we'll be fine." he said comfortingly, feeling glad the threat seemed to have passed.

He smiled as he saw her face blush and he felt butterflies in his stomach. He was never so captured by a doe as he was with Pain. He locked her gaze, seeming to not be able to look away from her beautiful, stunning eyes. He sighed calmingly and tore his eyes away from hers and layed down in the nest of flowers, and sneezed as a butterfly tickled his nose.

He then looked up at Pain to see if she'd join him.

Pain rested her head on the ground as Moon placed his head around her. Pain let out a soft sigh as she said, "It's so easy..."

All was silent, not even the wind could be heard or a blue-jay's song. Pain watched the trees' limbs sway along with the current of the air.

"...being with you," Pain said thoughtfully after a few moments, answering his question. "It's just effortless..."

Pain turned her head and touched his nose to his. "I wish there was some place secluded from here. Quiet and alone...But in this forest, there are just rolling hills of amber or green. No caves or ditches or anything..."

Pain glanced back at Baltazar and then back at Moon. She nodded and said, "Okay."

Pain trotted forward and then a little to the left. "I'm just trying to search in random places," Pain said, slightly turning her head to Moon Thief. "We'll see if anything comes of it."

Pain veered off to the right. As they searched and wandered the amber part of the endless forest, Pain improvised with talking.

A little bit hesitantly, Pain asked, "H-Have you ever felt this weird...feeling? It complicated and hard to describe. But it's got that 'warm' touch to it..." Pain had a very focused, yet confused look on her face now. She was still very puzzled about that feeling that she had now felt very often..

Pain nodded. "Yeah! That's what it feels like. I feel that a lot sometimes. What is it? Is it a disease? What's it called?"

Pain weaved left and right and then accidentally banged her shoulder into Moon's shoulderblade. Pain blushed and said, "Gah, I'm sorry. I'm a clutts..."

Moon Theif stumbaled a bit when Pain knocked into him and he laughed. "It's okay." He said with a grin on his face, but then turns serious again. "This feeling ... " He says. "Do you only have it with me?"

Pain began to walk forward again as she said, "Well...I seem to feel like that with you here..Is it bad?"

(@MidRose~ Awww, poor Baltazar ;; Yeah, that sentence was sad...)

"Good," Pain said with a nod. But the whole feeling was still quite a puzzle piece for her. Since she had never felt it before, she didn't know its name or if it was something to be controlled. Pain had no knowledge of love, only pain.

Pain ambled onward with Moon Theif.

Confused, Pain galloped after Moon. "Where are we going?" she asked him.

Pain smiled. As she took the rose in her mouth, she said, "Aww, thanks Moon!"

Pain hadn't really seen roses very often, but she's always loved the color red, so she loves roses. Pain bit down hard on the rose and broke the stem in half, making the green stem smaller. Pain retrieved the rose from the ground again and managed to tuck the remaining stem from the rose in her vein area on her shoulderblade. A sliver of blood ran down her front leg as she stuck the rose in her skin. It stang at first, but she was used to it.

The dainty rose coolly stuck out. She knew the pain would soon go away once it was there long enough for her body to adjust to.

"Oh yeah?" Pain said, cocking her head curiously to the side. "Well then, finally an answer to my anxiety!"

(XDDD You know what's funny? Last night, I was thinking of what I could draw for Pain and I thought about her holding a rose in her mouth! LOL And now she actually has one XP)

Pain ears went back in embarassment. She echoed the word, "L..L-love..?"

The foreign word felt funny on her tonque. Unusual, in a way.

She looked down at first and then looked back at Moon who was glancing at her. She took a step back, a bit fearfully. "I..I must confess, this feeling is very confusing...I'm sorry, I just need a bit more time to...think over my emotions..."

Pain looked a bit guiltily down at the ground. She didn't want to hurt him or drive him away; Moon was the only best friend she's ever had. Pain needed to explore this feeling more, but she still wanted to do that with Moon.

Perhaps something in her history was holding her back...But that is for her to discover.

Pain took a step forward as he trotted away, ready to go after him. But she stopped herself and decided to let him recollect himself.

But she felt horrible. She felt like she broke his heart and disappointed him. Her eyes welled up with tears. She looked straight ahead, the sun was setting.

~Wouldn't this be the romantic part where he'd ask me to be his mate?~ Pain thought a bit sadly and sarcastically.

Slowly, she followed his scent and stopped bit away so that way he couldn't see the doe. Pain went back to the rose bed and picked a rose. She returned to where she was near Moon. She set the rose carefully on the ground, careful not to make a sound. A tear from her red eyes spilled on the rose.

Pain let out a little shocked gasp when the tear fell onto the beautiful rose. She then ducked behind a tree in case Moon heard something.

After a few moments, Pain snuck away from the area. The tears dripped faster now. She sniffed and sniffed, wanting to forget the tears, forget what she did to him. It wasn't before long that she left the Amber Birch forest and ended up running towards the pond.

~I will end my misery...It will be as if I never existed for him..~ Pain thought.

Suddenly, she fell right into the pond at the high area. She had intended to enter the water through the shallow end, but perhaps this would be easier for her. Quick. No turning back.

The water rushed up to meet her as she crashed into the water. Quickly, she sank to the very bottom of the pond. Her heart was heavy. Literally.

She rested on the floor of the lake, watching the koi swirl and swim above her. She gazed at the lilypads laxly drifting over the water. The sunset-light sparkled over the water and over her.

But, Pain could breathe in water. She had forgotten that...

"Damn!" she cursed underwater while bubbled exited her mouth. She sighed and said, "Oh well. I'll just stay down here forever. I...I can do that..."

Then more tears fell from her lovely eyes. The salty tears blended with the pond water. "M-Maybe then," Pain said, sorrowful. "Maybe then..he can find someone better. Perhaps my old herd and family was right...I am useless...I don't deserve him and he deserves someone perfect for him..."

So the crying doe lied down on the floor of the pond...listening to the sounds of other deer run or moo. She listened to her own heartbeat...

Pain faintly heard a voice above water. She looked up and peered through the water. She barely made out the figure, but she would tell it was Moon from his voice. She wanted to go out of the water and tell him that she was stupid for doing such a thing. Instead, Pain craned her neck, grabbing the rose that was stuck in her vein.

She let go of the rose's stem and it floated to the top of the water. It reached the surface, little droplets of water rolling off of its delicate petals. The doe looked up and watched the rose bob there, her red eyes standing out in the dull-ish grey-green water.

Moon Theif looked back at the water and saw a rose floating above it. Pain? He thought to himself. He backed away, ears flattened to his head.

"no, no" he murmured quickly to himself. "If she drowned I would've seen her body." he said aloud. As he reached for the rose almost his whole body off the edge he was bumped. Moon Theif stumbled but caught himself before falling into the pond.

He looked back at the small doe, his eyes full of pain and sorrow. "It's okay." He said quietly. As Moon Theif turned around to pluck the rose out of the water which was brought closer to the pond side from the small waves he asked, "what happened to your face?"

Moon Theif jumped back from the pond when he was picking up the rose when he saw ripples come from the water. There must be an awful big fish in there. He thought to himself. He kept his eyes on the pond as he pressed his ears toward the small doe to hear if she'd respond.

He concentrated on the water and when he saw there was a deer in there, he was almost certain it was Pain. Confused he backed up, he was imagining things. He was now convinced he was crazy ... for Pain? Moon Theif shook his head to clear his mind.

Airia galloped through the forest unaware of what was going on around her when she stumbled upon a doe near the river. Trying her best to ecnore the doe, she went on the other side of the crying idol statue to take a drink from the river, but she couldn't help feeling uneased by the doe's emotions coming off of her.

Ears listenig tentivily towards the doe, Airia approuched the doe from behind, but snorted to show she was scared. She stopped several hoof steps away from the doe. "h-h-hello." Airia stammered unsure if she should run or not away from the doe.

Airia nearly jumped when Pain spoke and snorted of fear once more. "Are ... " She gulped. "Are you hurt ... ?" Airia asked sidestepping away a bit and shifting her head so no one was in her blind spots.

Airia froze of fear and her eyes grew huge as Pain approuached her. Airia let out a screech of terror as she was spooked and veered towards the pond. She bumped into Moon Theif and reared fritenedly.

"whoa there." Moon Theif said calmly, he had obviously already delt with horses before.

Feeling the calm energy come off him Aira calmed down, before taking a step back from Moon Theif fore he had a DotD pelt which spooked her also.

Moon Theif continued to stay calm and spoke, "what's the matter."

Airia relaxed a bit. "A doe over yonder gave me a fright." She said, pointing her muzzle towards the crying idol statue.

"A doe you say?" Moon Theif spoke. "Did she happen to have a vain?"

Airia looked back at Moon Theif. "Yes, have you heard of her? She scares the heck out of me." Airia turned away from Moon Theif. "I must leave, I fear I will run into her again." And with that Airia whipped around and jetted into the forest.

Moon Theif glanced at the Fountain. "I must leave." He told the doe. "You can come with me but when I find the doe please stay away, I must settle something to her." Moon Theif then galloped over to the fountain and smelt it. Pain had deffinetly been here. He looked around but didn't see her. "Pain?" he called, no answer. He had to findher trail. He breathed in and smelt her scent. Why must she keep running away?

Moon Theif followed her scent for a few feet before realizing where she was heading. He whipped around and galloped full speed.

Moon Thief galloped, peircing through the air until he flung himself to the ruins. Where was Pain? He looked over to the horizon, the sun had just sunken and the stars were beginning to twinkle and the full moon showed high above his head. Moon Theif smiled at the Moon, it always gave him high hopes.

He walked into the Ruins, twitching his ears for any noises, there was none. He remembered the last time he was here was with Haunted. Now, suddenly wanting to leave the memory behind, Moon Theif emerged from the ruins and took a few steps away. There was something eery in the air. Moon Theif sniffed. Blood. His fur stood on end and he raked his antlers against a tree. Blood usually ment battle and he could deffinetly use the rage out on another stag. But then he rememberd his situationa and was brought back into viruality and Pain.

The thought came to him urgently. pain! Where was she? Was she near a battle? He galloped towards the scent and stopped a few feet away where Pain was laying, her body bleeding. "Pain?" He asked softly taking a step forward. Was it okay to approach her?

the little doe was expecting him to hit her so she covered herself ''i-i-i have b-been h-h-it'' she says stil scared and stil covering her body.
