Moon Theif quickly trotted after her. Finally reaching her side, a slowled his pace so he could give Val a lick on the head showing his affection for her before trotted forward next to Pain. Normally, he would egg her on to race, but since Val was on Pain's back he didn't want to risk Val falling of and getting hurt.

Moon Theif quickly followed behind her. He let out a grunt as he slipped on one of the rocks but quickly regained his balance and galloped after her and Val.

Val smiled and umpd to another rock

Pain blushed and licked him on the cheek. Then the doe leapt up to the next rock, the largest of them all. She lied down on the edge and viewed the amber forest that stretched on forever.

Moon THeif walked up to Val and smiled back at her, reaching down to tussel her hair. "So, how do you like it here?" he asked her. He knew fawns loved jumping, crawling, and running around and the playground seemed to be the perfect place for a fawn.

Pain nuzzled her daughter from where she lay. "I'm glad you like it. Soon, we should find a set home..."

Then she heard the laughter of two does coming. Pain looked around for the sound and saw them a little ways away from where they were. Pain stood up and watched them curiously from her elevated view on the rock.

Pain glanced at Moon and then back at the two does ambling and chattering to each other. "Oh, I just noticed those does over there," Pain replied. "Do you think we should greet them?"

Pain got a bit nervous. Her ears went back a bit. "Ehh....I'm not quite sure...I...I'm not good at introducing....*clears throat* myself...Actually, I've never been comfortable around many people except for Fleur and you and Val, of course..."

Pain looked again at the does and gulped.

Pain chuckled nervously. "Haha...Yeah, that would help," Pain responded. To have Moon do most of the introducing would help her get the ball rolling in a conversation. Then she turned to Val and nugded her up. "Come on, Val. We're going to meet some new people..."

Pain picked her up and placed her on Moon's back. Then she began climbing and jumping, rock over rock to get to the bottom before the others does completely left.

Pain stuck close beside Moon and smiled at the does. One of the does were a bit smaller and had a pelt that swirls of brown, caramel-brown, and white- like a marble pastry. Her chest and belly were white. Her legs faded to a dark brown. The does' eyes were a creamy-white color.

The other doe was a tiny bit taller than Pain. Her pelt was dark-chocolatey brown and then blended to a lighter brown at her chest and belly. Her antlers looked strange, at least to Pain they did. It was a tiny red stem, like a plant, and then a big round red ball. But it smelled funny, like the rare cherries that grew in the winter...The doe also had a swirl of some white-stuff on her head...It looks creamy and fluffy. Her eyes were a cool mint-green color.

The two turned around once Moon and Pain approached. The darker one bowed and smiled kindly to them. "Hey! I'm Ghirardelli." The smaller one smirked and looked Moon up and down and then winked to him. "And I am Eclair, her younger sister."

Pain was too nervous to notice Eclair's flirtatiousness. She blushed and looked to Moon.

Val smiled and jumped down of her farthers bag. ''well hi i'm Valkyrie'' she started walking towards the rocks

Moon Theif took in a breath and lifted his head, his head lifting above Pain's and looking around, boredly. He wasn't quite interested in this girl gossip, his thoughts drifted lazily about but was snapped out of his day dream and he brought his head back down and looked at Pain.

"Hmm?" he asked, forgeting what they were talking about for a moment. "Oh, yes, yes demon stag." He let an annoyed hiss. "Sounds like Haunted and them." he growled feeling irratated. He bent his head closer to Pain and whispered in her ear, "We cannot allow Val to see them."

Pain nodded to Moon and then took a quick glance to make sure that Valkyrie couldn't listen.

Then Pain asked Eclair, "So when was the last time you heard of this?"
Eclair cocked her head and closed her eyes as she thought. "Ummmm...I think it was like...a week ago?"
Pain's ears shot up. She looked at Moon, wide-eyed. "A week ago!? We should get moving!"

Moon Theifs ears flashed up in alarm and he gave a quick nod to Pain and gave her look saying "but what about the does?"

she layed down and fell alseep

she smiled in her sleep as he carried her on his back

Moon Theif allowed the does to lead, feeling a bit annoyed at this but sucked it up. He clung to Pain's side, avoiding the other does' eyes completely, unwanting to send the wrong msg.

Moon Theif woke as the gray clouds fluttered in the sky. He sighed, he didn't much enjoy cloudy days as such but as he felt the body of Pain's on him he relaxed. He felt more comfortable with his life than ever, although he had much more to worry about with his mate and daughter.

Moon Theif kept his head on the ground lazily and let his eyes lay half open and enjoy the lazy morning with Pain and Val silently sleeping near him. It wasn't until Pain began to stir beside him when he lifted his head. He smiled at her licked her fur and rested his head on hers. He couldn't imagine life before Pain, before he had really known love and that does were more than objects. "How are you, love?" he asked, whispering on her ear as not to disturb sleeping Val.

Moon Theif chuckled as he saw the rain drop fall onto Pain's nose. Another rain drop fell, then another, and before he knew it a gentle rain was falling. He wasn't sure how long it was going to hold up before it ended or grew harder.

Moon Theif sighed. "I don't mind the rain," he said leaning on Pain, "it can certainly be romantic." he said with a smile. "I'd rather it be raining than just cloudy, then it makes the day too depressing." he lifted his head higher and allowed the rain to fall on his face. He inhaled, he did deffinetly enjoy the scent of rain.

Moon Theif brought his head lower and looked at Pain. "Do you like the rain?" he asked, still keeping his voice low.

Moon Theif watched as Pain stood up and put Val on her back. He chuckled to himself, Val was sure a heavy sleeper. He smiled and slowly rose to his feet, enjoying the peaceableness (if thats a word XD) of the rain. He dipped his head out of the den carefully, making sure his antlers wouldn't get caught on the entrance, and made his way to Pain. He put his muzzle on Val adoringly.

Moon Theif twitched his ears towards Pain as she answered and he turned his head towards her. He nodded understandingly. He walked closer to her face and set his muzzle next to hers. "Does it hurt?" he asked. He would never know how things would hurt Pain's vain, truely know it atleast, but he knew he wanted to be there for her, when it hurted. He wanted to subdue her pain so she never felt it again.

Moon Theif sighed, if there was only away to allow Pain to be free...free from that retched vain that gave her that name 'Pain.' He wasn't sure of what to say, so he kept standing beside her. He hoped that the rain wouldn't get too hard...he didn't want Val to get a cold, it was horrid if a fawn got sick in anyway.

"Where would you like to go, love?" he asked, walking a few feet away and scratching his antlers on that wet bark of an oak tree. A quiet scraping noise came out which hummed to the melody with the silent pitter-patter of the rain.
