Melinoe -

note: Oisín is meant to have a bit of an accent (Irish, to be specific), but I'm not sure how well I can pull off writing it...
You may have to just
pretend he's speaking with an accent...>.>
I can play all three of them, just preferably not interacting with each other.
Stuff can overlap, though.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
I would especially like to have these deer, if I can, pleeze?:
Bastilion (for Amary), Scape and/or Zerg (for Oisín), Janjaweed (for Melinoe), the Priest (for anyone)
But I am open to anyone else.
Including anyone that my deer haven't already met, which would be nice, actually.
Also, anyone can join anytime, even if a roleplay has already started.
So...anyone interested? Anyone? Please? D:
When I'm awake, I might do
Yay! ^^ I wouldn't expect it

Wow, I didn't expect so many
I don't plan on having any actual plot or anything so there doesn't necessarily need to be any evil characters. XP But it could certainly make things more interesting.
As far as "emo" deer, I don't really mind at all. It doesn't really matter to me what kind of characters you bring in. But, it's up to you, whatever you think works best.
So, yeah, I don't have anything in particular planned. Which is how I prefer it, anyway.
And anyone is welcome to join.
Don't worry, I'll start in a minute here. I just didn't wanna do anything without knowing if anyone was going to participate. X3

((well, let's try this again...))
The young doe awoke in a sunbeam near one of the larger trees in the birch forest. Opening amethyst-colored eyes, she lifted her head and looked around a bit before standing, stretching slender legs in front of her. She was going to look for some other deer, hopefully find someone she knows, when she was distracted by the smell of blueberries. Amary trotted over to the nearby blueberry patch, and began to pick off the small round berries one by one. Even as she ate, she remained alert, pricking her ears up now and then to see if any of her friends were around. It would be nice to have someone to share the blueberries with.
A peculiar colored doe, black on one side and white on the other, stood among the ruins, surveying the area. This required turning her head, much to her irritation, as the colorless, blind eye made it almost impossible to see anything to her right without moving. At least there didn't seem to be anyone there, for the moment. Hopefully it would stay that way. Melinoe slowly made her way to the graves surrounding the ruins, taking the time to pay respects to the fallen that lay there. If anyone happened to pass by, it would even seem as if she was actually "talking" to the gravestones at times, a strange sight to anyone who couldn't see the spirits there. As always, Melinoe kept an ear alert, in case anyone decided to come and mess about in their usual disrespectful manner.
The small fawn awoke where he had been sleeping in front of the statues of the twin gods, slowly opening deep forest green eyes. His left back leg ached, though he wasn't sure why. It seemed like there was always something wrong with it, hindering his movement even as he was finally beginning to get used to the idea of walking on four legs. And still he wasn't sure why walking on four legs should be such an odd thing. He didn't really want to get up, but supposed he couldn't just lie there forever. He'd never get used to this place and the strange deer-like creatures that inhabited it that way. He just wanted to stop being afraid, so that he wouldn't have to feel so lonely. Finally, Oisín stood on wobbling legs, ignoring the protests of the left rear leg. He looked around for signs of any deer, and then began to contemplate how he was going to scale down the steep slope without falling.

A red stag slowly stood,
The Priest twitched his ears, listening to the sound of bird chirps and frogs in the nearby pond. He carefully walked to the Crying Idol, taking his time. There was no hurry. He had all the time in The Endless Forest. He bowed on all sides of it, as always. For a second, the memories of his brothers flashed in his mind, but he pushed it away. Best not think of that now.
He carefully ascended the hill on which the Twin Gods rested after he had finished.
"Gods...I renew my promise to you. I remain faithful," he murmured. A blue light began to glow around his head, a reminder that the Twins watched over all. He smiled softly and stood, then began walked to the ruins, his final destination.
As soon as he reached it, he began to bow to the graves, remembering his fallen brothers again. This time, he let the memories take him. So many bad memories. He would never forget those he betrayed.
Lost in memories, The Priest walked through what would have been the front entrance of the church. He stopped at a small block of stone, fallen now. He had somehow missed the doe who was also near the graves. Perhaps he was too caught up in the memories to see much at all.
"The statues were here, were they not? This was the altar of the Gods...How strange to see it as empty as it is," he murmured. He lay in front of where the altar would have been, closing his eyes for a moment. It was peaceful today, a break from the confusing fights. Perhaps it would stay that way.
((Long post is long. >>' Sorry.))
All was quiet and serene,
As gradually as he could, he tiptoed towards his prey. Soon, it would be all over. Abruptly, he felt another presence. Annoyed, he pricked up his ears. A red stag was approaching the ruin, rather melancholic but strong as well. Doom gritted his teeth. If only that deer hadn't come... he should have attacked before. Now he couldn't decide himself...should he take the risk to attack them both? Or should he simply wait? Great battles raged inside his mind.

The black and white doe started slightly at the sight of the bright white of the devout pelt. She looked up, irritated, blinking at the brightness. Ugh...why must someone bring that pelt here?, she thought. It wasn't that she had a problem with the devout pelt itself, but it was just too bright for her liking. At least it seemed to be fading now. She squinted at the other deer, trying to see what he was up to. What she saw intrigued her somewhat. The deer seemed to be bowing to the graves, much like she had been. When he sat down, the white pelt finally disappearing, she was able to get a clearer look. That red stag... Her eyes narrowed. What was that red stag doing here?
Melinoe stepped closer, but before she could do anything else, her ears perked up as she sensed the presence of another. She looked around, unable to see the one she had sensed. There seemed to be something...dark?...about him. But no matter. She was more concerned with the much closer red stag. She watched the red one, trying to decide if she should bother making her presence known to him. If he does anything... For now, she simply watched, suspicious.

The Priest winced in pain as
A doe stood nearby, but that was not it. No, something darker was lurking nearby. He shook off the nausea, keeping a close watch on the woods, then turned to face the doe.
Something about her was familiar, very familiar. He bowed from a distance, courteously. He pondered what it might be, but sat down instead of trying to find out more. Perhaps he had met her long ago. However, he was too preoccupied with the darkness that was swirling about somewhere close to wonder further about this.
"Let us hope this darkness comes no nearer," he murmured, staring intently at the place where the idols used to be.
((The Priest did? Well, my reading skills seem to fail currently. >>'))

Her ears twitched when she saw the red stag stand up. She couldn't help but wonder what was making him act like that. When he looked at her and bowed, she simply snorted in response. Of course, it would be pretty useless to do anything to stay out of sight now. Unless the other she had sensed came over here...
Melinoe slowly edged just a bit closer, maneuvering towards a nearby pillar, where she sat in its shadow. She leaned back against the cool stone, still keeping her eye on the red stag.

He shook his big red antlers. Those butterflies became nerved.
He went slowly away. His brown fur glow. It was a sunny day and he felt happier than all other days in the forest. No, not all. He smiled.
It was silent, but he listened for other deer. Maybe, maybe she could be there.
He listened to his own tough voice and began to walk towards the sounds of the deer.
The ruin. He didn't like the ruin. It remind him at his past.
He stopped.
'Oh, come one. Let's look for her' He walked on.
'Aargh, a third one now!'he
Indeed, there were three deer at the ruin now. Not counting the fact that the newcomer had large, strong antlers. Yet his lust was too powerful. He was willing to take the risk. Only, he would change tactic. He walked up to the ruins, lowering his head, his half shut, trying to act as melancholic as possible. He reached a tombstone, picked up a flower, and placed it on the grave, just like any other grieving deer would act. It wasn't too hard to fake it, all he had to do was think of his trespassed son. He awaited the perfect moment to strike. His prey, for the moment, was the doe, the one that he had spotted first. If only that big-antlered deer would leave...

The Priest nearly growled,
He walked slowly up to the other deer, darkness pulsating from the stag. It still made him sick when he wasn't ready for it. He greeted him with a curt bow, wondering about the deer's intentions. He was sure they weren't good, though they looked innocent for now.
"Good day," he intoned, sizing up his opponent all the while. How ironic that they were in the same area where he had first met Darkweaver. Perhaps it was bad luck. Ah well. The Twin Gods would help him.

She wasn't there. i was a little disappointed, but that big stag attract my attention. Something...was different with him told me my instinct.

He studied the stag more carefully. The darkness shifted within the one in front of him, changing and moving like clouds. There was a specific reason why, but he couldn't quite catch it. He never really got specifics. He sat down for the moment, studying still. If he tried anything...The Priest would be there.

The golden doe slowly rose
"Why is there never anybody around?", she asked nobody in particular. What was the use of beauty anyway if you had nobody to share it with? As soon as she thought that, she shook her head. Beauty was something she could enjoy with or without another, even though it was lonelier without someone near her. She smiled lightly. The beauty of the forest was something, she supposed. A dove flew over her head quietly, in no hurry. She began to walk slowly among the trees, enjoying the pattern of shadows they cast on the forest floor.
She winced as something big and furry collided with her. She reared up in shock and the deer fled. Then the memory became fuzzier and fuzzier until it became nothing at all. She was alone again and continued her walk like nothing had happened.
For her, nothing had happened.

A small doe with purple flowers on her head walked through the trees. She really love those sunny mornings. Then she realized a big hill in front of her. The twin gods.
She smiled. She had to thank them for this beautiful mornig.
The doe almost reached the statue when she heard a little cry. A fawn.
She turned her head.
The doe with the flowers winced a little bit when she saw the little fawn strumble near the twin gods.
The small deer walked quickly towards it. 'It's alright, little one.' With a warm smile she helped it up.
Ceu looked up, hearing
She came upon the hill of the Twin Gods and looked around. Not a single deer here, as always. She began to walk near the hill, wondering where the bleat had come from. Suddenly, something caused her to stumble and she looked back. A tiny fawn was sitting there, looking like he was in pain. Oh Gods, had she hurt him?
She rushed back.
"I-I'm sorry...Did I hurt you? Are you okay? Oh Gods, are you hurt? What happened? The words flew out of her mouth in nervous succession. Then she shook her head, clearing it.
"Sorry. Now...What happened?" She asked, calmer. She was fully unaware of the other deer standing near the fawn. It was like she didn't exist to Ceu. At least, not yet.

The small fawn blinked up nervously at the two does. He knew he shouldn't feel nervous, especially since one had helped him, and they both seemed kind. But he couldn't help it, they were so much bigger than him. But at least he wasn't as frightened of these deer-like creatures as he had been before.
Oisín gave the doe that had helped him a nod of thanks, and turned dark green eyes to the other one. "I-I-I-I-I'm o-okay...J-j-j-j-just...t-tripped. H-happens...a-a l-lot..." He glanced toward the offending leg.

Ceu noted the nervous look
"Just tripped...That's good. I thought I'd hurt you...Nothing else hurts?"
She looked at the little fawn with motherly concern. " Just tell me if anything hurts. I can probably help, yeah? So, little fawn who trips, what do you go by?" She lightly teased. She glanced at his picto and seemed to be reading a name. " I can't quite pronounce that one, but it's a good picto. Do you have a nickname?" She wondered if she was forgetting something.
" Oh-I go by Ceu. It's nice to meet you, Sir...?", she prompted, wondering if she was overwhelming this fawn with her talkativeness. She was still unaware of the other doe.

The doe smiled and lowered her head to bow towards the doe, that stood in front of the fawn.
She had ran towards the fawn and flood of words had came out of her mouth.
After the answer of fawn she began to speak again.
Sun smiled. She really liked chatty deer, even she wasn't herself.
'I think evrything is all right.' she bowed again and bumped her carefully to calm her.
The blue doe turned her head towards the small fawn. She lowered her head to see the green eyes of the fawn.
'isn't it? Like the madam said, we'll help you. ' Sun cocked her head. 'Oh, and my name is Sun.'

" Sir Oisín, huh? Nice to meet you. Now, is there anything I...we can do to help?" She asked brightly. Two deer in one day...It was nice to meet others, but two at once? That was on par with amazing.

Sun was a little irritated by the golden doe, but she wouldn't dissemble.

Madam Ceu spoke to the little one.

Ceu pointed with her snout
" That, my dear, is your pictogram. It's what deer like me use to identify others. It's your own symbol, and no other deer will ever have any one just like it." She smiled. " So, do you know this other deer's pictogram?"
((Well, that failed. >>' I have a hard time RPing Ceu. x3))
The Priest looked visibly relaxed as the sickness from the darkness eased. His muscles relaxed fro their previously tense state and the fiery look in his eyes mellowed out to a dull shine. "Much better..." he whispered, then shook his head, looking up at the black and white doe.
He seemed to be studying her. It was almost as if something dark did move within her, but it escaped his grasp. However, it didn't seem to be overpowering. No wall of darkness, no sickness. Just a slight uneasy feeling. He stood but stayed a distance away. Had he met this doe before? Something told him that he had, but he could not place where.
"I do not believe that we have met properly. Most call me by the title of "The Priest". Might I know your name as well?" He executed a curt little bow, wondering if the other deer was still watching. Why he was so interested in this doe, he had no idea.

She frowned, her ears turning back once more. Of course it wouldn't last. Now the red stag had to go and talk to her. Just like before, he couldn't leave here alone. She supposed he had probably forgotten. "I'm sure I told you to leave me alone before," she said, but with none of the anger or malice that she had the first time they had met. She turned her head away. "But then, no one ever listens. Why should I expect you to be any different?"
