Looking for a deer rp. Anyone interested? Just let me know.
My characters:
Amary -
bio-
Melinoe -
bio-
Oisín -
bio-
Maera -
bio-
note: Oisín is meant to have a bit of an accent (Irish, to be specific), but I'm not sure how well I can pull off writing it...
You may have to just
pretend he's speaking with an accent...>.>
I can play all three of them, just preferably not interacting with each other.
Stuff can overlap, though.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
I would especially like to have these deer, if I can, pleeze?:
Bastilion (for Amary), Scape and/or Zerg (for Oisín), Janjaweed (for Melinoe), the Priest (for anyone)
But I am open to anyone else.
Including anyone that my deer haven't already met, which would be nice, actually.
Also, anyone can join anytime, even if a roleplay has already started.
So...anyone interested? Anyone? Please? D:
Ceu sighed. This was really
The Priest looked at her in dismay. Looking into her eyes, the memories came flooding back. The fawn he had promised to stay away from. Inadvertently, he had stumbled upon her again. For a second, he wondered if something drew him to her, but dismissed that thought. His ears went back. " My apologies...I seemed to have forgotten my promise that I would no longer bother you." He sighed and shook his head. "I intend to keep that promise. Good day."
His voice had become curt and formal and he turned away. He paused at the gravestones, bowing once more. "Brothers," he addressed them, then stepped away. For now, the best action was simply to leave her alone. She was no threat to him, though she mystified The Priest.
"Oh, wait..." He had just
((yyeeahh, didn't feel like trying to write the accent that time))
Well, that was interesting. She had fully expected him to continue to bother her. Then, when he paused by the graves, her ears twitched. What was that? Did she hear right? Melinoe got to her feet, turning towards the red stag..."the Priest"...what a silly title to call oneself... But...perhaps...he was somewhat different after all?
"Perhaps...you aren't really...quite like the others, after all..." She kept her gaze to the side as she said this, her tone seeming somewhat grudging, as if it was something she didn't really want to admit.
((because I'm forcing her to interact with him...X3))

Ceu studied it carefully. "
The dark thing flitted through her mind again. She sighed, trying and failing to grasp it yet again. Something dark flashed through the doe's eyes, immeasureably dark, but it was gone as soon as it had appeared.
((Trying out a new idea. x3 Maybe there's a tutorial for writing Irish accents somewhere? xD))
The Priest stopped and turned, studying her. "I can sense as much about you," he stated, nearly no inflection in his tone. He stopped, though, still oddly curious about this doe. "So will you permit me to ask of your name?" He said quietly, trying to be courteous. A name flashed through his head, his true name, but he pushed it away. His title was his title.
He examined her quietly. Black on one side, white on the other. Pairs of the colors all across her body-her eyes, for example. Curious. The exhaustion of the years still pervaded his face, causing what should have been the face of an adult to turn worn and withered like an old man. His many years were unnatural for a stag, but for some reason, he felt no older. He shook his head of the thoughts, waiting for the doe's answer.
The fawn nodded. "Okay."
((lol, I dunno, though some examples would be nice.
I wonder what happened to Sun...))
"Hrmph... Well, I suppose, if you must know... My name is Melinoe." She frowned as he examined her. "And I wish you wouldn't stare at me like that."

At once, the colorful insects' flitting movements seemed to grow more excited, as if urging the deer awake. Soon enough, the stag's breathing rhythm changed, indicating he'd joined the land of the living, before rising to his feet with a stretch and a yawn.
He gave his head a shake, more to clear it than to shake off any water. His dark blue fur was understandably soaked. The stag paid it no mind, though. It would dry soon enough with how the sun was beating down.
Now fully awake, he turned his attention towards the insects. "How's it going, guys?" he greeted them, as he usually did.
At once, they all began chattering, going on about everything they'd seen, from who had passed by or stopped to take a drink, to what deer seemed to be standing much closer together than usual.
The stag just rolled his eyes, their habit of gossiping nothing new to him. Snorting in amusement at their antics, he bent his head to drink, the front edge of smooth, black orca mask he wore over his human face submerging beneath the water.
The dragonflies continued to chatter, and he continued to ignore them. To anyone passing by, it would just seem like the insects were buzzing more than usual. If they knew the stag standing among them, they would understand why, as he was one of the few that could understand them.
[[Ok. I finally figured out how to kick Scape in here. XD; Have at him
I could somehow put Bastilion if you want me to Paz, but he's so close to the Ruins usually. XD; I'd have to have him walking around somewhere else to avoid that other part of the RP going on.]]

The Priest nodded. "Melinoe. It is a...pleasure," he cordially replied, hesitating on the last word. This doe was not exactly his ideal companion, but ah well. These times seemed rather strange anyhow. "My apologies," he nodded his head curtly, wondering whether to stay or go. On one hoof, this doe was quite interesting for a reason unknown to him. On the other, she was not a very kind companion and was getting in the way of other things he had to do. But...what other things? He decided to stay for a moment and cast his gaze to the ruins, a far away look in his eyes. How far this forest had come since he was a little boy in a church learning manners.

As they reached the pond, he could see clearly that this was indeed the blue deer he was looking for. His ears perked up. "There 'e is!" And, momentarily forgetting the golden doe, he rushed over to meet the blue stag.
Melinoe snorted. "Oh, please. Forget those useless formalities."
((Ugh, sorry, I can't seem to think of anything else...>.< I guess it doesn't help that I'm starting to feel tired.

Ceu blinked in surprise,
The Priest smiled slightly. "Indeed. I suppose I am simply curious, but may I ask why you ran from me as a fawn? Why you seemed so...angered?" He looked genuine, simply curious, nothing more. Something about her still confused him. Perhaps it was the darkness that shifted within her but did not seem to be overwhelming. She was a strange creature indeed.

The Priest wondered if he was saying the right things, but he felt like he was stumbling over his own words. What he had meant to come out as a bit of advice had turned into a sermon. He sighed quietly and shook his head.

The Priest nodded,
"Many deer are indeed hung up on appearances; I once believed that not a single deer could see the evil that was hiding right under their noses. Indeed, they cannot, but that does not mean that they are terrible deer. It does not mean that they cannot learn. No one deer can fully understand another. If they do not realize it, why do you not show them, or at least make an attempt? Many can learn and many must learn. I still have much to learn as well; it is the way of life. "
The Priest's eyes seemed distant, with a thoughtful look in them. Philosophical questions had begun to interest him. Was it true that deer were unable to learn? Perhaps some, but not all.
The Priest looked down at his buried brothers, far beneath the earth, marked with headstones. Indeed, at least one deer had learned.

aahm...well, i think i'll let sun speak xD]
Sun smiled. A blue deer...He was that cute.
Madam Ceu explained it really detailed to the little fawn.
But Sun's Thoughts were deflect. This day remind her at the first day she met her love.
Lost in thought she didn't follow the dialogue.
When she suddenly felt a strange feeling. She looked up.
Madam Ceu. It was Ceu.
The fawn asked her, but it seemed to better now.
Sun followed them carefully to the pond.
Oisín had showed them a picto. The deer, he said, had been at the pond.
So the sat down in the cold water and look at the clean face of the pond.
The little blue doe catched a blue stag in the near.
The little one jumped up. ‘There ‘e is!’
She was confused. That stag ? She stood up. ‘Wait! Maybe…’
He wasn’t the one you were looking for, she continued the sentence in her head.
She had got…bad experience with such stags.
She carefully touched the irritated doe next to her, to intimate her to follow the little, blue doe.
[*gasp* xD okaaay, is it all right? ]
That stag spoke to the doe. He grinned. She seemed not to be friendly.
But the stag turned around…and left. He took some steps towards, but he was right: he left the ruin.
That have been the last thing he thought of.
The other deer spoke with each other.
He shook the head and began to walk.
That doe expressed him. Slowly he continued walking towards the ruin.
‘Let’s see what that deer chased away’ He laughed. He won’t let himself chased away.
Even if it would end in a fight.
But…he wasn’t really interested in ending like this. His big wound on the back still hurts and the scars along his face prickled.
He wasn't in excellent form and wasn't the mood for a fight. But anyway...
'Let's look' He grinned again.

That doe sitting in the water, though, didn't seem to see him. He tilted his head in confusion, raising a brow beneath his mask. What was with this doe? He'd suspect she was blind if she hadn't commented on how beautiful it was here.
He blinked at her. "Uh..Miss? I'm right in front of you."

The view from the largest rock at the Playground was always a nice sight to take in. The only spot that rivaled it possibly, was the hill next to the Blue Bowl. Speaking of the Blue Bowl...
The chocolate brown stag could see that from here as well. He was reminded of the blueberries that grew there and gave it its name. A sudden craving for them decided where he would go next.
With a small smile to himself, Bastilion leapt from the rock and leisurely made his way over to the huge indent in the ground at the edge of the birch forest. If he ran into anyone else there, it was fine by him. He was not a shy stag. He just hoped they didn't get intimidated by his antlers. There had been a few times deer had cowered from him upon seeing the giant red rack atop his head.

He bowed back, a bit unsteadily, and still a bit uncertain that this was what he was supposed to do. But, from what he had seen, it did seem that this was the customary way in which these deer greeted each other, and it felt right.
He turned back toward the gold doe, blinking in confusion. What did she mean "where?" And then the other doe, who had followed them, had said something. He tilted his head up at her. "W-what is it, M-miss S-sun?"
The doe sighed, still looking off in the distance. "And what good would it do?" She slowly shook her head. "I'd much rather they just leave me alone. And not disrespect those that rest here. If they could do that, there would be no problem." She could still sense the other stag nearby, but paid him no heed. As long as he stayed away and kept quiet, he didn't bother her.
((Oh I was going to make a comment about the priest talking about "preaching" before X3, but by the time I finished typing that last post I had forgotten about it))
Amary's ears perked up as she picked up a familiar scent, and she smiled. Turning to the source, she spotted the familiar red, impressive set of antlers. She picked up her hooves to begin trotting, but stopped, wincing as the pain in her flanks reminded her of her recent injuries, wounds from hooves and antlers that decorated her sides and chest. So she was forced to move slowly instead, with a slight limp. In spite of this, she smiled as she reached the brown stag, dipping her body into a curtsy--with a slight wince as her body protested at the action--in a polite greeting. "Hello, Bastilion, it's been a while."
((yeah, I figured there's no reason for her to not be injured here))

As the stag known as Bastilion finally reached the Blue Bowl, he took note that there was indeed someone else there. Someone he knew at that. With a neutral yet welcoming expression, he returned her greeting with a gentlemanly bow of his own. "Lady Amary," he added by way of verbal greeting, formal as ever.
He did not fail to notice her wince of pain, and quickly spotted the source, in the form of wounds along her front and flank. "You are hurt." Mild shock colored the words before his face took on a frown. "You should not be moving around." The tone to his voice left no room for argument. Many a time he had been forced to keep a certain dark stag from aggravating wounds caused by fighting. Why Amary would have such wounds, he did not know, but he would not pry to find out unless she felt like explaining.

"Where is this deer?" She asked quietly, frustrated. Something dark passed through her eyes again, but flashed quickly away. Suddenly, as she walked forward, she tripped over something and went splashing into the water. She gasped and stood up shakily. A blue deer stood inches from her.
"Where did you come from?" She fled a few feet back, then relaxed. This deer obviously meant her no harm. She came back and executed a curtsy. " Sorry. The name's Ceu...I suppose you are the blue stag Sir Oisín was searching for. What can I call you, sir...?" She prompted.
The Priest sighed. "A fair wish, though curiosity will always pull deer to others." He sighed and looked over at the gravestones. "I suppose that I too wish that the deer would respect those who lie in rest here. Ah, my brothers..." He sighed and pricked up his ears. Someone was approaching. In that instant, a wall of darkness hit him and the sickness returned. He choked for a second before turning to observe the coming deer with an expression of controlled ice. His overly large antlers glittered in the sunlight as he turned(?).
Let us hope that I do not have to use them... He thought. If it came to a fight, he would be forced to lead the deer away as well; away from the ruins, away from the doe, though perhaps...perhaps she could help.

He wondered who this "Sir Oisín" was. This doe's name was Ceu, there was another doe he didn't know, but the name didn't seem feminine exactly, and then there was the fawn he had yet to learn the name of.
He turned to the fawn. "So your name's Oisín then?"

He turned back to the blue stag to respond to his question, nodding. "Y-yes, s-sir, it is."

"Your brothers..." She looked up as the Priest turned toward the approaching stag, seeming troubled, for some reason, by his presence. She could also a sense a darkness in that deer, though vaguely, but this didn't bother her at all. In fact, she was somewhat intrigued by this. From her experience, it seemed the ones that had a kind of dark presence about them often turned out to be somewhat interesting. Although, in truth, she had only come across a few before, and had only met one properly. For the most part, however, she still didn't have much interest in this deer.

(<3) Night took some steps
Night took some steps towards and stood in front of a big gravestone in the near of the black-white doe.
The red stag seemed to be nervous. He grinned.
The red one wouldn't be a promblem, but, anway he wasn't here to fight.
His back started to hurt again. He stook his antlers angrily.
Then he bowed towards the doe.
'What are you doing here, Madam, on this sunny morning?'
He asked but there was no ironic in his voice. For sure she won't answer to only one question.
'I don't really like this place. So, what let you stay here near the...graves?'
He took a breath. Those graves. This Nigtmare yesterday. His three scars along the face prickle again.
It wasn't a good idea to come to this place. He shook his head shortly.
Concentration. The stag looked into the face of the doe.
Sun walked towards the blue stag and stooped next to Oisín.
'My name is Sun, Mister...Scape' She didn't bow. Not now.
The small blue doe turned towards the fawn. 'This is the blue stag, you were searching for? for sure?'
The doe turned suddenly around where she heard Ceu tripped over something and fell into water. She took a short side glance on the stag and hasted to Ceu.
She got herself quickly going, but she was shaking.
'You're okay?' Sun asked and stopped next to her.
((Hallo. :3)) The Priest
The Priest raised an eyebrow at being ignored, then courteously bowed. "A good day to you as well," he murmured. As long as the stag was not threatening him or anything else, he was no problem at the moment. The Priest sat, letting Melinoe talk but carefully listening. The sickness had become under control, so he looked into the stag's eyes.
Darkness moved within them like a shifting cloud. Something seemed to stand out to him for a moment, but it was gone as soon as it emerged. He sized up the stag instead. He seemed hurt; The Priest was fresh and new. Ah well. Hopefully it would not come to a fight.
Ceu stood up with the help of Sun. "Yes...I'm fine. Both of you. Sir Scape, it is a pleasure to meet you." She curtsied properly, but something glinted in her eyes. Perhaps it was confusion or a sort of sadness, or perhaps both. She wiped it away as quickly as she could, instead smiling brightly and think of the lovely weather. A perfect time to play games.
((And now, to bed. :3 Also, as a note, I will not be here on the 11th. If I make it here, it'll be later than normal. ^^))

((well, Amary isn't really one for asking about things that she feels aren't her business. X3 But maybe I'll have to make her ask some time anyway.))
((ooh, you guys posted while I wasn't looking D: ))
Melinoe's eyes narrowed and her ears turned back in irritation again. Why must all these deer insist on bothering her today? Although the darkness she had sensed in this one had intrigued her somewhat, she still had no desire to be approached like this. She preferred to do things on her own terms, and right now this stag was just getting on her nerves.
She snorted. "Well that's none of your business, is it? If you don't like this place, than maybe you should just leave."
-
The fawn turned to the blue doe, nodding. "Yeh, i's 'im." He nodded to the golden doe, relieved she was okay. He didn't notice the change in her eyes. She said she was fine, and he had no reason not to believe her.

ooc: 8'D WOW that was a long
Bic: Already standing, a particularly tall, lovely doe appeared on the slope of the lake. Her head was bowed to the water, where koi swam just below the surface. "Mornin' guys!" she greeted cheerfully, ears twitching slighty to catch the responces of the aquatic teachers. She remained in this spot for but a few moments, randomly getting into a conversation about the potential meaning of dreams. Realizing she had not yet greeted the dragonflies, she bowed to the koi and turned to face the colorful insects. Another bow was offered before she noticed there were others nearby. Reddish-brown eyes blinked once, her not recognising some of those gathered. But to those she recognised... She skipped out of the water, easilly joining the crowd to warmly nuzzle Scape, and greet Oisin. "What did I miss?" Zerg asked curiously, her own accent showing in her few words to be much like what one would expect from a big-city business woman. Fast, almost as if spaces didn't exist, but still understandable.
A sickly mist formed beside one of the graves, rapidly stitching into the form of a mutated looking stag. Six crimson eyes opened, then narrowed. Without needing to actively look around, he could tell the ruins had become more populated than liked. He stood slowly, mentally cursing his own advanced age. A few scratches from antler tines lined his front side, but overall he seemed in good condition. Rage still boiled in his blood after his latest encounter with a certain stag with a god complex. The grave he so long protected, had been defiled and partially dug up. A touch of sadness crossed the demons eyes, looking at the mess that had been left in aftermath of a short and distracted fight. With one hoof he began to replace the upturned soil and withering poppies. The sense of a blinding faith struck him, more than the particular senses the other deer carried. Not feeling like being overly social, he faced away from the group at the ruins, and began to step away, chains clattering with every movement of his forelegs.
((xD I'm fine with it. Thank
The Priest looked up with a jolting movement, as if something had suddenly caught his senses. The wall of darkness had hit him again, but it seemed lighter this time. Perhaps it was because he was already well acquainted with the dark stag who began to move away from the ruins. He eyed him for a moment, then looked away.
His business was currently with the stag in front of him. Not that he trusted Darkweaver whatsoever. He swiveled his ear to listen carefully to the receding clank of chains as the dark stag moved away. Hopefully the stag would not try anything today. After all, he seemed to have...mellowed out in some ways.
((I'll wait on Ceu. :3))
[[Scape never seems as hyper
When the blue introduced herself as Sun, Scape nodded with a bow, despite her not going past giving her name as a greeting. He always liked to bow to everyone he met if he could, even if they didn't bow back. Still, though, this one seemed a bit strange in her own way. She'd sent a glance his way after Ceu tripped before going over to the golden doe. Like she was suspicious of him.
Speaking of Ceu, when she greeted him, her expression flickered for a moment. It wasn't long enough for Scape to figure out what it was, but it was long enough to notice something. He just nodded again, as he had bowed to her already.
A familiar voice closeby caught the blue stag's attention. Already feeling a smile from on his face, he turned to see a certain black and white doe who was taller than average.
"Zerg!" he exclaimed with a grin as she joined their group, happily returning her nuzzle, not only making it apparent how close the two were, but also emphasizing just how tall she was.
Scape was not a huge stag. In fact, he was a bit shorter than most. And with Zerg being taller than most does, there was a definite difference in height between the pair. Not that Scape cared though.
"You didn't miss much, actually."
---
Ravyn? An image of a doe with the vibrant colors of the butterfly pelt came to mind.
He nodded. "We are acquainted, yes." He could not very well say they were friends, for while he was on pleasant terms with her, they had not met enough to know each other so well. He as curious as to why that particular deer had been asked about.
[[And ok Ocean. At least we won't be wondering why you're MIA. ]]

Oisín blinked up at the newcomer, backing up slightly, a bit nervous not only because he didn't know her, but also because she looked even bigger than the others. It seemed the blue stag...Scape?...knew her. So maybe she was okay? He took a small step forward and sniffed her.
The stag...the one that had just appeared and was now walking away... She had seen him before. She turned her head to watch him. There was something about that stag... His appearance was unusual, but that wasn't what intrigued her. She thought it seemed almost as if he might have some kind of connection with one of the spirits here?
Well...whatever. She waited for the other's reply.
"Oh, I just wondered if you might know something." Amary sighed. "She...well, it wasn't really her fault. I don't...really understand it, but...she wasn't herself. She was like a completely different deer." She gave her head a slow, sad shake. "I don't know her very well, but she's always been nice." She gave another sad sigh. "I just feel kinda bad for her, having to go through that."

As Amary spoke, it dawned on Bastilion just why the violet doe had asked about Ravyn. She spoke as if the butterfly-pelted deer had done this. He frowned, perplexed.
"This was her doing?" His tone was not exactly angered or annoyed. It was along the lines of mild shock or surprise. Ravyn never seemed the type to act violently towards others. In fact, the few times the brown stag had been acquainted with her, she was rather pleasant and cheerful.
His brow drew downward in thought. "This baffles me as well." He was silent for a moment, sorting out how to word what he wanted to say.
"Perhaps...something within her broke free for a moment in a fit of blind rage..." He blinked at himself. I am not sure if that even made sense..

Ceu seemed to better now, so she approached her attention at the newcomer.
She was a doe and Mister Scape greet her with nuzzeling.
She was much taller than a usall doe.
Sun stood next to Ceu.
The blue doe with purple flowers on her head slowly realized that Ceu couldn't see any newcomer. First of all she had to care about Ceu.
That doe made her nervous

Bastilion frowned again,
"That is disconcerting. And frankly...quite similar in situation to another companion of mine." What was that condition called? "Multiple personality disorder..?" he muttered to himself, not realizing he had done so.

ooc: wow it's hard to post for Zerg. XD
bic: He continued walking away from the ruins, until the faith had marred from his senses. In a way, it felt like walking into an electric fence... Soon out of eyeshot of the ruins, he stopped, and glanced back in the direction he came from. He sighed faintly, apparently letting himself calm down to an approachable point. Perking up his ears, he attempted to sense who might be around.
ooc2: And uncreative Darkweaver post. |D

He got a bigger grin.
'Really? Oh, so i think this stag' He shortly nodded at the red one 'Doesn't care about this, hum?' With a pitiful smile Night took one little step backwalls.
'Why? Wasn't he and i'm not a profit for each company?' He said with a ironically glance.
Nightmare suddenly came something to mind.
He bowed quickly. 'and what is your name, Miss? '.
Then he felt him. That stag came nearer again.
(whoa XD that will end in a fight, hu? xD)
The doe wasn't convinced.
'No, i don't we've met.'
That doe seemed to be familar with Mister Scape.
But she didn't want to be unpolite so she greet her back with a short, quick bow.
'My name is Sun, Madam Zerg...' She carefully touched the doe beside her.
(Did Zerg knew their names XD anyway <3)
(Oh, yeah, i think i'll wait for ocean too C8)

Melinoe glanced for a second at the Priest. "Him...well...he isn't bothering me so much." She sighed irritably. She didn't really feel like introducing herself again, but she supposed there was really no harm in telling this stag her name. Maybe then he'd at least stop calling her "Madam" or "Miss." "No reason not to tell you my name, I guess... It's Melinoe." She took another step back, putting more distance between them. It wasn't that he made her uneasy. She simply didn't care to be that close to anyone.
((Well, we'll see. Mel doesn't really like to fight if she can help it. Though she might attack if she gets angry enough.))

Oisín started slightly at the nuzzle. It wasn't something he expected, and somehow nuzzles from strangers felt a little bit unnerving. Although, she did seem to be friendly. Still, he wasn't sure what to say or do without being prompted.

[[Gah, I'm feeling braindead
The brown stag blinked at Amary's sudden change in subject. But that was right, was it not? She had never heard Bastilion speak before. It could not hurt to explain why.
He chuckled a bit, amused that she had not figured out why he was so quiet before. "That is because I could not. Until a fortnight ago, I had no use of my voice." He wondered if he would have to explain that he had a past life where he was human, and could speak in his childhood, until...
Perhaps he would not explain the reason why.
[[I hope she knows what "fortnight" means. |D
Oh, and I've been typing Bastilion's part in his writing style. No contractions and an attempt at being more "proper".]]

((I missed a LOT. xDDD
Also, I may miss a few things in my posts, so don't mind that.))
The Priest glanced up at the red stag, who was moving closer and closer. He looked up at him icily, preparing to stand. His ear swiveled to Darkweaver, tracking him with his hearing. However, these was not his battles at the moment. One was Melinoe's, but he was prepared to step in should she need his help. The other was no worry to him at the moment, unless Darkweaver decided to do something...well, just something. For the moment, he simply continued to fix the other red stag in a collected but icy stare.
Ceu trotted slowly over to the assembled group, observing the deer. The smile was still on her face, completely real this time. She leaned lightly against Sun to reassure her.
"I'm okay, I swear," she said, missing the reason for the nervousness that flowed through the doe's body. "And so's he." She nodded in the direction of the blue stag. She was unaware of the doe standing but a few feet in front of her, introducing herself. She continued to smile.
She looked over when Sun spoke, a worried look crossing her face. Who on earth was she talking to? She wondered, then shook her head and began dancing. However, it was a bit more like swaying lightly back and forth, which she often did when she was a little bored.
