Totally started this when it snowed in the forest.. never finished until now.
Also my writing and art is fail, please bear with me.

"Ochiba."


The young stag turned in her direction, his breath forming in the cool air. The snow fell steadily around them, and every now and then the doe and stag would shake their fur free of flakes. Ochiba lay down, a blanket of cool snow underneath her.

"There's something I've been thinking a lot about, something I've been meaning to tell you."

Takeshi cleared his throat, looking down at her.

"I know that we haven't known each other for as long as some others, but we've been through some things that have brought us close together. I realized, during the rut, that no other does made me feel this way. This strange way. Why I always want to spend time with you, why I'm always trying to impress you." He paused. "Why I call you Fish-Face."

He pawed at the ground awkwardly with a front hoof, pacing a bit.

"I suppose what I'm trying to say is.. I think-- I think I love you."
