I've been planning for a long time to do a revival of
this event, which for TL;DR purposes is a gathering, ideally meant to be held on some sort of reocurring basis, to play "playground" style games. And now I'm finally getting off my backside and doing something about it!
So...I was wondering if anyone was willing to help me with some ideally pretty simple CSS for a page, or help me put together a nice image to act as an attention-grabbing "flyer" of sorts. While ideally, volunteer work would be best, I'm sure I could help trades, too.
But that's a little limited for a post like this, right? Does this idea still sound interesting to people? Any sort of game you'd particularly like to see? If you've done events, any tips about scheduling I should keep in mind?
There will be always players,
I'll gladly help, but there is little I can do. I know nothing about CSS and making flyers is also not one of my best skills.
However, I can give you one tip about the scheduling: Do not ask "when?", just post the date first and then ask the players "If?".
Wish you good luck with this.
...Well, this reaction is
Anyway, I learned my lesson last time, heh. I'm thinking of using the sort of timing generally used for Lightbringer events, since those had decent turnout.
Ooh this sounds like a fun
I might be able to help with a flyer, what did you have in mind?
If this does happen, I will
I've always kinda wanted to see a ton of deer doing something. I have an idea for an event. A race~
And I even thought of a thing so it could work. Anyone notice that the map actually loops? They could run in a straight line, and whoever loops back first gets, like, flowers or something XD
If that's what your looking for. If you just mean a little gathering for dancing and nomming mushrooms off trees, that's fun too. 8D
The times I've seen this are
@ Meadow: Nothing too fancy,
@ General:
And the idea is not just general hijinx, but playground-style games. Tag, Simon-Says, I've got a working Red-Light, Green-light thing, dance-offs using flowers to tell who drops the beat... That sort of thing.
@ Pega: Yeah, I'm thinking a weekend, Noon-ish or early afternoon central time (that's, what... -6? -7? I do not recall off the top of my head).
I might have a little trouble
Well, you can go fancy if you
