I've been gone for quite some time now. I've been caught up with trying to afford college, taking care of my sick mother, and dealing with a horrible break-up. Right before I left, I was working on a new drawing of my deer, Hekate. My tablet suddenly stopped working, because this laptop is old and most things that you have to plug into it, just seem to eventually stop working. Because I couldn't finish my drawing of Hekate, a sudden wave of depression fell over me and I lost all motivation to get on the internet and laptop. Then other problems as stated above started to take place, and I became completely caught up in it all.

Before all of this, I got on TEF every single day. Even though I didn't have any friends and no one seemed to interact with my deer, I still got on. I still got on because there is something about the forest that is calming, and a big time stress reliever for me. When ever I entered the forest, I forgot about all my problems and what was going on. It truly started to help me heal. And drawing my character [even though I suck at drawing at animals] just made me extremely excited, because it made me feel like a part of this place. While on hiatus, is when I realized how much I missed this place.

Remembering all these random memories of me and my deer in the forest makes me happy as well.. I remember once I had first learned to do the running/flying glitch thingy, and other deer saw me awkwardly attempting it, and at least 6 to 8 deer came over to me and started doing it too. It was extremely funny, and an amazing time. I even remember the times I felt extremely lonely in the forest, and I'd go afk, allow my deer to sleep, and I'd come back and other deer would be resting next to mine to keep me company.. Just witnessing acts of kindness like that, is what truly makes me love this place.

I look forward to returning to TEF within the next day or so, and making more random, heart-warming memories to keep me looking towards the bright side, and forgetting about all the negativity that has completely taken over my life.
