Had a great time with my sister-in-law today, we went to the Chattanooga Zoo in Tennessee. I'll have a few more pics up later from her camera, but here's mine + a few captions. (Also note, I refer to any animal as a 'he' if I don't know for certain if it's male or female. These animals may very well be female so if so it's just mislabeled, sorry)
Some African fish...
This dude had a fuzzy head!
That head totally puts Kaoori's butt floof to shame!
"Sup?"
"You know I'm sexy!"
Total chick magnet
This was a really pretty snake...
And it blended in so well that even my sis-in-law didn't see it at first.
Chillin'
This snake was silly. His entire body was under water except for his nose.
I should listen to Owl City while watching this guy.
"Friggin CAW!!"
Zephyr says this chick's got fashion
Prairie Dogs, anyone?
Deeeeeeeerrrrr!!!
Don't worry, much sexier pictures are later. We go back and check them out later.
"AFLAAAAAC!!!"
This goat was awesome, hehe.
Check out that mane!
Don't drink and be a goat, peeps!
I officially deem this goat to be a Quad goat.
I've got a picture my sis-in-law took of me kneeling down with him.
BISOOOOOON!!!
Who wants tatonka wings?
Sorry, inside joke. "Tatonka" is a Native American word for "Buffalo"
One hump or two? We will never know.
Yes. That is a comfy barn owl.
Sorry Pega, I tried to get a better picture of the snow leopard for you but it was sleeping and this was as zoomed in as I could get.
The bobcats, on the other hand, were really active.
They actually sound like cats!
I bet a pinecone they'd go nuts if someone threw catnip in there.
Whatever you do, DON'T make fun of their flat faces!
Totally stalk'd
This was a red-tailed hawk. Really pretty bird.
Coyote time! This guy was ridiculously fast!
Just look at that face! I can't tell if he's just happy or really hot!
Detail of his pelt
*sniffsniffsniff*
*huffhuffhuff*
*strutstrutstrut* He really liked running around his cage apparently.
Another pretty cat,
though I can't remember what kind it was. Serval, thank you Pega!
Alright...
Who is ready for a totally epic picture?
.....
Anyone?
Get ready to laugh your buttfloof off!
*HEADTILT!!!*
Sexy stag is totally sexy
Mmmmm....fewd!
And such a handsome face!
Look at his cheeky smile
Okay so they had this little river thing but they drained it for whatever reason. So now they put the water back in so he and another stag were checking it out. There was a bridge over the water so they walked UNDERNEATH us, so that's why these are top-view shots.
Don't eat fencing! Geez!
Omnomnomnomnom!
Fuzzy antlers are totally fuzzy
*Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!*
And now...two bucks!
Get it? Two bucks, like two dollars! Haha!
One of them decided to keep going and see what else was going on.
"Who farted?!"
"Oh, it was you!"
I love his expression! "Silly hoomans, I'm just thirsty!"
Tried to get a picture of the cougar but it was chilling too. This was the best I could get, sorry.
Okay back to the crow. He was so very silly, he actually dunked himself into some water so he kept shaking it off...
...and every time it shook it's feathers, I felt the water hit me. It was so funny.
----------------------------
Here's a few from my sister-in-law's pictures.
Anyone else need a bath?
More coyote sexiness
"Leave. Me. Alone."
"What kind of wood is this made out of? I wonder..."
"Wut?"
Totally licking the air
And here's the pics of me and the goats:
50 cents worth of goat food goes quick
They're surrounding me!
I'm being goat-napped!
Yes yes yes I know, I have food.
This was where the goat bit my knuckle. I had pellets in both hands and was trying to feed with my left hand. The goat with the curly horns smelled the pellets in my right hand and started to chew. I'm alright now, just lucky he wasn't radioactive or I'd become a goat-themed superhero.
*petpetpet*
And lastly, the best picture:
See a resemblance?
HEADTILT! 8D And that cat
And that cat looks like a serval. =]
Got it, thanks! I also
Saw them too. Looks like
Looks like those goats had you backed into a corner. "Drop the food and nobody gets hurt..."
Hehe they were sweet though,
I'm starting to develop goatritis in my right hand, too.
XDD
Those pictures are lovely.
I laughed quite hard at the 'headtilt!' deer.
|D
Goats and sheep have this habit of doing nearly anything they can to get the food.
I saw an example of it today, and it was hilarious. Those goats seem... tame.
Great pictures. Thanks for
I don't strive to be the best, but instead I strive to do my best, and always give it my all every time.

Thank you for posting all
Yeah they weren't all that
Glad you guys like the pics. I was so happy when the deer came closer and when they went under the bridge, I resisted the urge to reach down and pet his velvety antlers (really really wanted to though).
OMG! The head tilt! *dies*
Pretty awesome pictures there
I love the coyote ones, and the head-tilt and lick ones ♥
Great pictures! I really
love the photos of the
thank you for sharing!
These are all very lovely,
Bumpity for anyone who missed
By the way, is it just me or do deer look kind of like giant dachshunds with their snouts?
So Brandy is a teeny deer with big floppy ears?
