ACTIVITY NOTICE: My muse for this game has been lacking for a long while. I visit TEFC here and
there, but do not play the game much if at all anymore. I'm doing great if you
all are wondering, I have just found other things that take up my time. Add me
on steam if you want to see me around more! I am @marissablondie but my profile
may show up as mars or dinamoozers : ) If you want to reach me privately, feel
free to send me a quick email at dinamotef @ gmail.com as I check it often.
Also, as this has happened a few times, please kindly do not ask for any of
my pictograms. If you have followed my updates over the long period of time,
I do plan on returning and playing this game more often as the Unreal Engine
update is released. Right now, I am just right smack in the middle of my college
courses and do not have the time. Thank you so much for understanding! : )
Player Updates
October 1, 2021
idk what happened but hi i'm here hello
Main Characters
Characters with linked biographies have updates listed there:
lungsiepoo - yeah ive seen a few of those..they basically have paint coloring with a quarter/arab bodytype..they're gorgeous.
heres a few of my girl - xxxx
sorry for the bad quality :c most were taken from my cell phone, the one of me showing her on the ground is a picture of a photograph. i have more but they're all on my phone.
the little donkey in the last one is leroy <3 told you shes a chubby one.
we had to lop off her mane because she has dry and itchy skin and she constantly rubs it out. ;A;
more if you're interested. snaging them off of facebook lmfao - xxxxxx
heres a few of ebony, the horse i use to use in competition - xxx
she's a beefy one too. i guess i can say my grandparents and i like our girls fat? hehe
all of the pictures were taken in washington state 8'D
tlr - mm gurl dat smells naiz
winged - omfg right! im just -so- excited! ugh he's an amazing comedian...ffueuifh
Stormy and Ebony are both absolutely gorgeous. Stormy definitely has more of the Quarter Horse looks, though her back appears a bit shorter, like an Arabian. Is Ebony a Quarter Horse, or a different breed? -canthelpitilikelearningaboutotherpeopleshorses- Nothing wrong with chubby horses! Leroy looks adorable too.
thank you so much ;A; and yeah, haha i dont know how i pulled it off as showing her as an arab in fair lmfao.
her mom, tia, which my grandparents used to own as well (she now lives across the street and ebony lives down the road), was 14.2 hands, considered a pony. hehe
ebony is a pure bred quarter as well. i loove quarters, theyre such well rounded horses.
arabians have much more spunk 8D stormy is pretty lazy, unlike her momma.
they're all my fat babies. it's not that we overfeed them, they are just so generally laid back.
im not up in washington all the time and i cant work them as much as i'd like to. ;u;
and nobody else in my family has the time soo..i like something to wrap my legs around anyways!
Quarter horses have been a favourite of mine since I was a child. Shires and Brumbies too. As of late, I've really been loving Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds as well.
As long as their health isn't affected, I don't see anything wrong in that! They're cute when they're a little chubby besides. Auugh, I'd go crazy if I was in that kind of situation. I'd love to be able to be near them 24/7, haha.
only Ebony is. Tia and Stormy are half quarter half arab, they aren't purebred, so they can't.
and Leroy, well dur, hes a donkey 8'D
currently, my grandparents have Leroy and Stormy on their property. like i said Ebony is down the street and Tia, Stormy's mom, is across the street. but i dont see them very often..and i miss em. ;_;
me too. Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds (of the ones ive seen) are generally too hot for me, even if they aren't borne into racing. i don't like competition anymore..it's getting far too stressful for me.
i don't think i will compete in 4H fair this year. /unrelated
i'm more of a trail ride, pleasure riding, having fun kind of person when it comes to horses..
ive always disliked it anyways when a horse is skinny enough to see the outline of the ribs..even if they are in perfect shape. plus id much rather have some squish underneath my buns to cushion the impact of riding anyways! hurdur
and yeah, they're fine. but when I showed Ebony in fair a few people asked me when she was due for birth, and two people were appaled that I was riding a horse that pregnant, LMFAO. shes just fat ok ;;
You could probably find calm ones after some looking around. To be honest, if I ever was able to get a horse, I'd start at an equine rescue - of the ones I've followed on Tumblr/looked at, they have quite a few off the track TBs and STBs. Basically, that'd be my dream horse. But I'd make sure it's a calm horse, I'm a lousy noobie, okay?
Ah I can understand. I'd want a trail/pleasure horse too, though I'd probably dabble a little in barrel racing or even jumping. I would love to try XC, but I'm a chicken, and most of the XC things I see are eventing, and I don't care for that. Not interested in dressage, mainly.
For me, it depends. I have a tendency to lean towards "ribby" things, but that's a personal preference. I guess for me, as long as the horse is healthy though, it wouldn't matter either way. Hahaha, true!
yeah? i love following horse rescue pages on facebook and watching them turn horses lives around.
aw yeah? and thats okay. i think i know so much but homfg so much to learn still ;_;
i dont know what my dream horse would be, tbh..ug
mm, jumping has always interested me but ive never had the time to try ;;
barrel racing is fun but intense, i dont like how its always about time and not about the fun imo...thats just what ive witnessed from competing in washington. sure its a competition but the girls get so dead serious and break down if they dont go .001 second faster. idek.
i did barrels 2 years ago with ebony and she was so hot i wanted to get off and pick her up and plant her in a corner to sit and calm down, hof. she knew what she was doing though, i thought i did so well but a friend told me i wasnt even pulling on the reins to change her direction when i was going through them. haha she was like SIT BACK I KNOW WHAT TO DO
mm, i ride western. i love being able to have my back straight and my core tight and my heels down and feel proper, but i dont like any of that fancy stuff either.
yeah? i guess i like something to wrap my legs around..and im dead serious, the extra fat adds cushion. omg i sound terrible.
I don't have Facebook, so I rely on Tumblr a lot, haha. I end up seeing a lot of Camelot stuff too, it always breaks my heart. I'd love to get a horse from there, but I'd want someone with me who knows what I need and what to look for in a sound horse.
I have a lot of different breeds/colours in mind, but ever since I was a little girl, the "dream horse" has always been a chesnut mare with a blaze and socks, named Willow. Breed was never set in stone, but I really am leaning towards Thoroughbred.
I would really be a "casual competitor," for lack of a better phrase. I honestly can't stand seeing or hearing about people who just kick non stop or kick hard to get the horse to go faster. It doesn't work that way, and I consider it cruel.
Oh well, everyone's on their own level. It's good though that Ebony knew what to do though, never hurts having a horse like that to help the rider. I've never ridden English, but I honestly don't want to try it. I've always ridden Western, and I love it. I feel comfortable and secure in a Western saddle, I feel like I'd lose that feeling in an English saddle.
yeah, thats smart. i know i'd love to save a horse but i think it would be hard to find a sound horse without a good eye..
ooh, i can see that, mm. i think..id love a paint or pinto, one that would be a brown/sorrel/cremello color with very small white patches? but i think id like a quarter, too. never really been exposed to much other breeds, sadly. occasionally a shire or other draft but not enough to develop an educated opinion on one ;A;
me neither. i hate it when people get mad at the horse for not doing good enough. its not their fault if they are tired or if they havent learned or practiced enough, thats the trainer/riders! urg. /rantrant
definitely, especially since i wasn't as experienced as i am now two years ago, she helped alot but she was so hot that all she did on the rest of the other events (keyhole, poles, flags etc) she just ran straight up the course and then back, i was pulling SOOO hard to try to make her turn and slow down, but she didnt. got disqualified from 5 of 6 events, ughhh. stressful :C
me too. i rode on an english once and the horse spooked and i fell off, hu. definitely don't like how english saddles feel so slick and slippery. western saddles have more butt cushion too, plus they can come as fancy or as basic as you like 8'D
plus english is alot stricter, and its mainly for shows. ive never seen someone ride english just for pleasure, they always practice and have to be all proper. i love being able to just let go on a western saddle and lay back (literally) and have fun
Paints and pintos are gorgeous. A lot of people really seem to like cremellos, but ehh I was never really into them. I prefer either white or grey. I have a huge horse breeds standards guide book, wish I could loan it to you so you could look at it. Recently, I've been going through Wiki's list though, they have quite a lot of breeds covered there, including some not listed in my book.
"It's never the horse's fault." (;
That's true, I always love the intricate patterns you can get with Western saddles. Course, you'd end up paying more for a really detailed one, but they're pretty to look at either way.
Yeah...I've seen a few trail riding pictures of English riders, but it really does seem like that saddle's more for showing. Same here. (:
mjrn - wow haha im so rusty. realized that stormy's a red dun not a red sorrel /hide
i also like grullas and champagnes, not the cremellos. not particularly fond of light/white horses.
ugh sorry. im normally so spot on with my breeds and coloring. omgimsoembarrassedhidemeplz
Grullas, yesss. ♥ Ah, I see. Not too big on champagnes either, to be honest. Damn, we're total opposites with horses here, haha. Fleabitten greys are the best greys (colour wise), in my opinion. I like dapples, just not as much. Aw, it's okay. -wrapsblanketaround-
lmfao youre right, i think fleabitten greys arent too attractive. i just dont normally like appaloosas in general, so anything similar to their coloring isnt appealing to me. though i do loove dapples.
once saw a dappled grulla, omfg. freaking you could swim in the river i was drooling.
like i said though, im not too big on lighter colors either, so any light greys or whites just arent my faves. even palominos are stretching it. i like the carmel-y colored ones though, mm. but when their manes are a liiight blonde, dont like that either.
i was raised with plain darker horses though, black, red dun and a sorrel, so i guess thats why haha.
A dappled grulla? That sounds really neat. Have you ever seen brindle horses, by any chance? I quite like them.
Hm, I'm not really big on palominos either (we have common ground omg), though I'm slowly growing fond of them. I've seen photos of some with some slight dappling, very pretty to look at. This one in particular, oh my goood.
in person, no. but i just looked at some pictures. ive seen brindle boxers..i like them, but only some of them, from the pictures i see. what a neat coloring, though.
LOL yes. i think my favorite dappling is where you kind of have to squint to see it. mmmmf
give me your babies pretty horse
I've seen a few pictures of an Arabian cross that has white brindling on it on Tumblr. Very neat, though not as eye catching to me as a "regular" brindle.
Yeah, I don't mind the overly snowflake esque dappling, but the more subtles ones are more visually appealing to me.
oooh, yeah. such a beautiful horse ;A; such a nice pose, too.
now its time to track one down and see it irl man
yeah? i love how bulky drafts are. how big but gentle they are, too.
i look SO weird on big drafts though, because im naturally teeny.
its like an ant riding a snail |D
It's kinda ironic that, breed wise, the gentlest are the biggest. And yet, they basically have to be. If you've got an unruly foal, that's one thing. But an unruly Shire that towers over you is quite dangerous as well, maybe even moreso. (Also, just as a thing, if you have Netflix, watch "Buck." Finally saw it today, and just...you need to see it.).
I'd probably look rather weird on one myself, lol. I'm not small by any means, but still.
[e] I'm so sorry to hear about your rabbit. She looks so beautiful too. )':
Quote:
we have questions..should we get another rabbit? or let her be alone? they were very dependent on each other and sweet pea relied on marshmallow incredibly. if we do get another, how do we introduce them to each other? will sweet pea be okay? will she act different?
I would say wait a little while, at least. Give Sweet Pea time to grieve and recover from the loss. It may take days, it may take weeks. At the very least, give her a week and a half and see how she is.
As for bonding...
What I did for Sage and Tea was to put them in a pen together for about 10 minutes, max, once or twice a day, in a space that neither rabbit heavily occupies. If you put them in a spot that either rabbit spends a lot of time in, the "resident" rabbit could become territorial. Let the rabbits get accustomed to each other on their own, but do intervene if they start to harass one another continuously. I stayed in the middle of the pen and stood between Sage and Tea if Sage start chasing her. With us, due to circumstances, we were only able to do this once, but I would recommend doing it for at least a week before attempting to get them to live in the same pen.
Another thing you can do is leave Sweet Pea in her cage/pen, and let the new rabbit roam around the pen. This is a bit safer, especially if Sweat Pea get particularly aggressive. Do this for about a week before trying to get the rabbits to live together.
Another idea, which some consider a bit more effective, is to simply put them in a box together, and put them either on top of a running washing machine, or take them for a car ride. Rabbits when scared will naturally cuddle with another rabbit for security, regardless as to whether or not they like that rabbit. It'll let them associate that rabbit with security, basically getting them to think, "Well okay, maybe this bunny isn't so bad after all."
Not sure on Sweet Pea's general behaviour, but if she was heavily reliant on Marshmallow, she could become one of two extremes - she will either not tolerate any other rabbits, or she will become heavily dependent on the next rabbit. Before my sister got Tea, she had Rex, her male, with Juliet, a female. Rex and Juliet were very bonded to one another, and when Juliet died, Rex was quite lonely. When my sister got Tea, he basically would not give Tea any room to breathe, and craved affection from her - too much affection, even for her.
Since Sweet Pea's a female, gender shouldn't be an issue, though I'd recommend a neutered male over another female. Overall, it's going to come down to both her personality, and the personality of her potential partner. They might bond overnight, they might not bond for weeks. It will definitely take patience and a steady hand, either way.
If you decide to get another rabbit, good luck. I wish you the best.
Also, if you're going to watch Buck, you can get it off of Netflix. I'm fairly certain you can find a copy in a movie store too. Just searched Amazon real quick, and found a copy for about $8 as well. Technically a steal, it's a very good documentary.
Though, considering what you're going through right now, maybe hold off on it. It's a very powerful film. The bit with the colt at the end is very sobering.
I used to breed rabbits, so I know how hard it is when you lose one, so for that I offer my condolences and a smidge of advice. I'm no absolute expert or vet so I can't tell you or reckon how she may have died if it wasn't the most obvious factors, but for getting another rabbit I say go for it. Especially if Sweet Pea prefers other rabbits over humans. Try to get a neutered buck, as close to her age as possible and then go through the standard introduction. You can give her time to "grieve" if you'd like but don't give her long enough to start thinking that's how its going to be from then on. It might be hard getting another rabbit so soon, both emotionally and otherwise, but she needs a friend unless you're willing to turn her into a person-rabbit through semi-constant attention, and the sooner the better before she starts to adapt to solitary life.
I don't want to put any pressure on you though so forgive me if i sound rude or anything I don't mean it at all <33
mjrn - thank you so much for taking the time to give me advice
it relives me knowing sweet pea needs time alone, as i felt like going out and getting something for her to be with (whether it be another rabbit or a stuffed toy or my own companionship). i wanted to go out there and hold her but she is afraid of humans and it would only stress her out more.
i read every bit of that and im going to read it to my parents..
so sad what happened, so unexpected. marshmallow was so young (they had been together since birth). but thank you.
like i said im so glad i can get away for a bit, not have to see sweet pea so sad. mm
oh, great. thanks for letting me know.
and thanks for telling me. ill hold off for a while.
wwl - thank you. we of course would love her to be so close to us but i think it would be easiest on everyone just to try and introduce a new rabbit to her. and great to know. ill probably give sweet pea a few days and then suggest to my parents to try to find another rabbit (probably going to take everyone's advice and go for a neutered male around her age).
and no, not at all. its comforting knowing what to do next. it was so scary thinking she was alone and i didnt know what to do to help, so thank you all for that.
Oh my god. I was shocked to read this. Oh man, I'm so sorry.. I wish I knew what to say but.. something like this needs time to recover from. You have me on Skype if you need someone to talk to, Din.

it relives me knowing sweet pea needs time alone, as i felt like going out and getting something for her to be with (whether it be another rabbit or a stuffed toy or my own companionship). i wanted to go out there and hold her but she is afraid of humans and it would only stress her out more.
i read every bit of that and im going to read it to my parents..
so sad what happened, so unexpected. marshmallow was so young (they had been together since birth). but thank you.
like i said im so glad i can get away for a bit, not have to see sweet pea so sad. mm
oh, great. thanks for letting me know.
and thanks for telling me. ill hold off for a while.
wwl - thank you. we of course would love her to be so close to us but i think it would be easiest on everyone just to try and introduce a new rabbit to her. and great to know. ill probably give sweet pea a few days and then suggest to my parents to try to find another rabbit (probably going to take everyone's advice and go for a neutered male around her age).
and no, not at all. its comforting knowing what to do next. it was so scary thinking she was alone and i didnt know what to do to help, so thank you all for that.
