it's been a long while since I've been on TEF. about four years, maybe. I've just rediscovered this place, and I must say, I can't help but smile.

hopefully I can get up to date with things and maybe post a picture or two.

I was contemplating (honestly, I even you tubed TEF after I searched it in Google -ha-ha) this since I joined and read the community website chats and even the forums.

All of it can be a tad overwhelming I must say in the least. Mind you with all my frolic I've stopped to consider could there actually be a "older player" ( game wise ) that would consider teaching a little fawn the tricks of the trade so to speak?

So, this is me sitting here pondering upon questions I am sure a lot of us beginners are wondering but just never having the nerve to ask.

I can be a tad forward at times so please, forgive me if my blog might offend anyone.

Heavenly

She, just a babe, merely a few hours past a day old lay mesmerized by her surroundings. She slowly lifted her head blinking her eyes slowly as to try and take in the beauty around her. Had she truly been graced upon to be the one to view such splendor?
Slowly yet gracefully she stood stretching, yawning and shaking the freshly fallen dew drops from her pelt. Quickly her ears perked as she heard rustling within the woods, was it another one of she or something more graceful?

Listening and sniffing is what her instincts told her was the best thing to do. So, ever so earnestly she stood waiting, listening and sniffing hoping to find one to play, frolic or even comfort her in this big vast world of beauty.

Yes, that would be what she would do , she decided : Wait, listen , learn and feel !

Yesterday 5-20-13 :

It was my first day to download and frolic through the wide beautiful pastures of TEF ; twas a wonderful time. I met quiet a few along my way but one had caught my eye he/she was gentle and understanding to a newb as myself and I hope to find her/him again!

With a gentle, quiet breath he scanned the area. Black eyes peer between tall grasses, amber at the edge of his vision. The bright sun obscured yet more of his eyesight, transforming everything to his left into silhouettes. The coronas those black shapes had were too much to look into, so he merely listened that way. Listening did not mean much in the Birch Wood, where even the grasses tried to talk over one another, but he tried anyway.

The black and white bulk of the stag lay low to the ground, soaking in the morning rays. He refused to move from where he had bedded down for the night until the sun was far enough overhead that he could see the new creatures that swarmed this place. The herbivores were confusing. It was as if a great amount of them had come all at once. Where would the deer find food with all of them here? What were they even? Moss did not know. They just made him nervous. Maybe, one day in the far future he would be comfortable around them. Moss grunted at the thought. He was unable to see that happening yet.

Moss rested his chin on the packed grasses, leaning a bit to one side so as to allow his neck a break from the velveted antlers that rose from his head. A sigh blew pollen from the plants. The golden specks dazzled his eyes briefly, reminding him what this place was truly about. It settled his soul. Just as long as some deer remained, there would still be peace here.

A time later Moss rose, his snowcapped shoulders the first of him to appear above the grasses. Quietly and effortlessly he moved off in search of some way to start the day.

Perhaps he might pray first.

I only just started playing again yesterday after quite a long time and still haven't given my deer a permanent look, so I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I'm looking for the Orca pelt, Magpie mask, and Real Deer antlers.

I currently have the Secretary Bird pelt, no mask, and Default antlers with red flowers. I won't change that so you can recognize me easier.

I can't come up with any good deer characters of my own. Would anybody give me some advice on how to come up with a good character and design?
