Endless Journey, Life of a Deer } Part One

I'm not quite sure how I got here. I'm not particularly alone, and not exactly frightened, just intrigued. My mother seems to be missing, and that puts me in a stupor. There is no 'alone' in this forest. There is the sound of steps as far as my ears can reach, the tiny patter of a mouse or the clicking step of a crow, the crunch as a rabbit hops across dead leaves. The one I hear the most is the gallop of young fawns across the ground, and the loud, calmer steps of elder deer.

I have yet to see another deer, but I know they are there. There hooves leave prints in the ground and the sound seems to be everlasting. I'm feeling quite lonesome, just lying here in the grass. A curious rabbit pokes its head out of its hole and peers at me. A bird watches from a branch and makes quiet chirping noises. There is the faint sound of a deer's call in the distance - a young one, like myself. It is sooner returned by an elder deer, and I long to see them.

My lanky limbs are quite wobbly at first, and I fall over, scaring the rabbit back into its burrow. I try once more, twice, and on the third try I can stand. I test my legs cautiously and once they are able to hold, I begin to run into the forest, in search of the deer who call. As I run farther, the deer calls again and this time, I call out as well to let them know I am here. They continue to call.

The landscape is fascinating. I take a break to look at the wonder of nature. A bee buzzes busily up in a tree. I still have yet to see another deer, but it's okay this time, because the wonderful Earth is quite satisfactory. I stop in a purple flower patch, giving into my childish nature and topple head over legs into the softness. There are butterflies all around me, the busy flap of their wings enough to keep my heart at bay as I dig near the ground and place the flowers in a crown upon my head. It's a lovely sight and smell.

I begin to run again, my newly made crown upon my head, passing by many trees.

My Welcome to TEF!

Writing this at eleven PM because summer break, whatever. Anyways, I've made myself a part of the community by signing up about maybe five or six hours ago.

Overall, I'm really liking the game and have it set up as my screensaver. The graphics are just beautiful and I love the concept of the deer so much. I spent my day playing the game with others I met; the community is wonderful, and everyone seems to be friendly, thankfully. When I wasn't conversing through the body language of the deer, I took nature walks to explore the territory and to find interesting things. I ran across a graveyard, a pond where there seemed to be a herd lazing about in the shallows, a smaller pond with a statue I think that was called Da Drinkplaats (I researched it because it was fascinating), a large tree with a hole split into the middle, and seemingly worshiped at the two statues alongside many other deer.

I'm happy to say I made a few companions along the way. I'm not sure if I'll ever see them again, because of the lack of human interaction - which, if you ask me, is an interesting choice for a game but all in all it's a fantastic choice and I'm enamored with it. It was still nice to be taking a walk, observing in a relaxed state, and then be joined by other deer. I met a fawn who, unlike others, actually stuck around for quite awhile. We splashed about in the ponds, danced with other fawns who crossed our path, bowed to elder deer, had some magic spells bestowed upon us, made flower crowns out of the purple and red flowers, and prayed to the twin statues.

After about an hour of wandering in our flower crowns, my companion went to sleep. Seeing as he wouldn't return, I went on with my exploring and that ended my journey for my first day. This is quite the game. Smiling

my first day on tef

thank you everyone that i met at the forest today

one of the people i met was a fawn with red flowers on its head like mine. i took "buddy" (that what i called my friend because i don't know its real name sorry) almost everywhere , we worhsiped the twin gods and pranced all over the place happily , i kept on getting farther than "buddy" but since i was worried of losing "buddy" i tried my best to slow down for her..( or him (sorry i cant exactly tell sorry xc) after a while of adventuring we took a small rest at the oak it was nice and quiet .

i wish i will get to run into "buddy " tomorrow and for on Smiling

Hello ive played this game for a little bit but i thought it was time for an introduction, my sumbol is

my deer's Name is Capulous.
My dream look for him is this

so if anybody has a few hints for how to get these exact things ( i would like to earn them) it would be much appreciated by deer personality is a calm cheery demeanor despite his somber appearance loves to dance and always tries to be polite but can be rude when trying to get his point across

Just became a stag

So, my account is old enough to play as a stag. That's great, but I have a problem... I went to the "Controls" part of the options menu. I clicked the box to play as a fawn. Cool, I can be a fawn again. I realize that fawns cannot have their appearance changed for more than a few minutes, but i thought that was only fawns that were under the 30 day mark. So, I got someone to cast a mask on me and after a few minutes it disappears. I was thinking that if you have reached stag-hood and still chose to be a fawn, then perhaps you could then make the fawn's appearance changes permanent as you could with a stag. I mean, why not? You put in your 30 days. You deserve to be able to change your appearance now permanently whether or not you chose to continue being a fawn or stag. Here's the pisser, I have seen many fawns that managed to maintain masks and other appearances for more than a few minutes. I've seen ALOT of 'em. How are they managing to make it stick? I don't care if it's a glitch or whatever. I just want to know how they do it, so I can do it too. I know that you can save a set and keep reapplying it over and over, but I don't think that's what they are doing. I've sat and watched them and I never once saw that little glow that you get when magic is being cast on you.
