So yes, instead of having a thread in the forum I may as well just do diaries. ^^ Ahem, here is the next installment of my recording Miorrowind's adventures while frolicking in the Forest. Today started out normal enough, fawns all gathered in a group to gambol and romp about in the grass and have dance parties. So that was fun and all, but while we ran about I noticed something strange. At first I thought it was a ghost, then I realized it was someone inside the water. The Deermuda strikes again!


So of course I was quite curious and and went out to waterdance (one of the powers Deermuda has kindly rewarded me) so that I may get a closer look. And then I spammed the "p" to attempt to make a gif, it didn't turn out so well.



Ah well que sera, sera.


Also: to the stag that seemed to want to be transformed: my apologies. I did lay down but you turning into a fawn made me less than willing to sit completely still for five minutes to get the spell only to hit you with it and have it wear off five minutes after that. Then when you finally convinced me to do try again I lay down and fell asleep only to not gain the spell. I tried moving further into the circle because I was rather close to the edge but... alas. I was tired and needed to leave the Forest for the night so that my husband and I could switch who was on the bed and who was in the chair. I hope you found someone else who would cast the spell, even if you were a fawn.

So, if i may, I have a couple questions.

1) if you log out, and you have a set, do you lose your set when you log back in?

2) if the first one is yes, how do you keep your sets when you have multiple accounts?

I'm kinda interested because I have an idea for another deer, but I'm not sure how to pull it off. Anyone care to answer?

- You accidentally minimize something and get an adrenaline rush.

The flacker of wings beating against calm air interrupted the greetings.

Coal looked up towards the sky, curious as always. The alpha fae, cladden in golden fur, with a single burnt paw, stared to the sky. The bird, purer of white than the most innocent dove, circled like a hawk above them. In her prime, the alpha fae could distinguish the eye of the bird to be the color of blood. It was as though a demon had come, disguised in the form of a moon-white angel.

Coal growled, and the bird screeched, flying out of sight.

...

"So...have you come across my sister yet, Red Oval?..." her voice was as smooth as angel's breath, her eyes as sly as a cunning hare. Her fur, as dark as a heart glows at purest night.

"My lady, she is not alone, but yes, I found her." The bird settled itself upon a rock, preening at its feathers, twisted up by the wind.

Dark Angel grinned. She licked her maw, thinned her gaze. Stared into the woodland.

Not but she knew her intentions, her reasons for cruelty. She was not raised to have a soul so dead, so dark as she had come to attain...

With a huff, she settled her chin upon her paws, and stared into the forever of the woodland. She saw figures dance, dancing 'round. Red Oval heard a whimper, and looked to the fae of ebony. Nothing seemed to be out of order.

As dreams enveloped the querious fae, not a soul realized that a wolf, as blessed as they may be, may never shed a single, crystal tear...

So I saw a few pictograms in the distance and decided to see what was up. I found the two deer in the picture below, secluded and....nuzzling each other over and over. Tilting my head, I tried to leave them to their nuzzles when one of them enchanted me and turned me into a bat.



So I sat down and they took turns stomping on me. 8O





So I hid and a tree.

Well, here are her replacements.

Hunter

This deer has in interesting story...
Artemis came into doehood at the time when BZD was in the Forest, and the wolves howled... She ran to celebrate with other deer, but no one listened. They all crowded around this giant deer, tried out new voices, danced in new pelts. Her joy turned to sorrow.
As she sat by herself, she felt breath on the back of his neck. She turned, and saw the grinning face of the hated zombie celebrity.
He said, "Come with me. I can show you a true way to live. You will no longer feel sadness." And together they faded, and the Forest grew light once more.
BZD took her, and changed her into an image of himself. He taught her how to gain power through a strange new religeon of blood and bones. Slowly she became corrupted, she began to enjoy killing and the power rush it gave her. BZD saw this, and told her that she was ready to go into the Forest once more. The young doe begged him to stay, she despised the Forest and all it's inhabitants. And so BZD said:
"Then let it be so. You shall go forth into to the Forest, and you shall be The Hunter of all you despise.) Then he laughed, and dissapeared.
The Hunter found herself in the Forest. A fawn playfully gambolled up to her, and head-tilted. All The Hunter's old anger came rushing back, and very soon the fawn was no more. The sweet taste and scent of blood rushed through Hunter's body....
Then came the rampage, and she killed his way through the Forest. All her compassion and ability to love left her, and with every kill, a piece of her soul died.
The Gods noticed, and banished her. She was a dangerous wild animal, not a deer with a heart, and must be captured. The Cage became her home.

Today we had our first Sunday Solace Circle. It was a really fun event and I'm really glad I decided to pull it together. I've enjoyed it very much and I can't wait for next week's.

Highlights of the event:

-Rolling in laughter almost constantly
-Playing on the bridge
-Failure at a Mexican Wave game
-Falling into the water repeatedly when trying to adjust my position on the bridge
-Hopping over the river
-Frolicking
-Running through the waterfall until we all turned red
-Enchanting one another
-Visiting the god stones
-Wandering the woods

Yesterday was my first day in the forest, in this beautiful virtual world that I am now a part of. It is SO cool being in here--it's like a whole new dimension to explore, like a painting in a museum that you can jump into and fully enjoy right away. The art itself is stunning and so varied, and the sounds are immersing. Right away, I feel not like a visitor to the world, but part of it. I have joined the community and now it is up to me to make friends and explore the ever-changing world around me.

It's funny how even though the features of the "game" are extremely limited, it is really fun to play, for hours on end. Just running around, interacting, absorbing and appreciating the atmosphere is a wonderful pass time on its own. Sharing spells and roars and dances and hops and rears and bows and whatever else with the other deer is an enlightening experience. The connection and communication without any words is a completely new experience for me--but I get more and more used to it all the time.

This is a place I will be coming back to many, many times. I hope our paths cross in that beautiful forest sometime soon!

Profile: Blackhoof is a crazy lil' deer. He is very silly
and he prefers to stay that way. Although his crazyness can make
him quite the happy character, he can be shy at times to meet a deer.
Mainly he is shy around fawns(because there so cute he would hate to make
them cry), and some does or stags. He is always happy to make a new
crazy freind. He normally is always on the look out for
his freinds, but if there not on he will wander around.

You can normally tell if you became one of his major freinds(because
he is freinds with all the forest deer but major is different) is if he he rubs
you twice when you meet or he just autimatically classifys you as his
freind and you don't know it.
