My mums funeral...

I want to thank everyone for being at my mums funeral in TEF. I think it's great that mel was nice enough to plan this but even greater knowing that people I don't even know was there. I know my mum appreciates it. The funeral was beautiful and I can't believe some people got up early in the morning to go to it.

When my mum died I thought it wasn't happening and it wasn't real. I kept saying that we are bringing her back home...but she didn't come back with us..but for some reaosn I still feel like she is still here. She died and is never coming back and I hate that because I feel like I could have done something. But alas...I couldn't. We found out that what caused her death just so happened to be a blood clot that started in her leg then went into her lung....and I remember those days when she said that her leg hurt...for no reason. And since the clot went into her lung it didn't help. She had asma too. An hour before it all happened I was hanging out with her in the basement watching T.V. She was fine, happy, and laughing. When she went uptairs she passed out we called the ambulence they took her away and I didn't even get to say goodbye or I love you. But I didn't have to say I love you because she knew that already and I didn't say goodbye...I said hello. I'm saying this to not be a kill joy but I needed to say this ...people say she's in a better place now...I usually say...she never left. Yes my mum was only 40 and yes I do greive and cry some days but though I don't see her physically I feel her presence.... and a couple of years from now we still may cry but there will be times where we will laugh and say mum would so kick my butt right now or mum would so say that.

Yet again I will say I'm not trying to be kill joy but I needed to say this and I want to let you know I love my mum soooooo much!....and I want to thank everyone for attending the funeral and for those who wanted to. Thank you. And I hope that I get to meet you all! ^_^

Hanging Flowers - Chapter 21

prepare yourselves. im writing this while listening to only Legend of Zelda music XD

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few days passed by, and everything became almost back to normality. Skokey became reaquainted with his friends, and Fulu ended up making some new ones. Most of Skokey's friends seemed to like the young doe, she was a lot like him. She was shy around other does, and especially shy around other stags. She met Vipin again, Darcy, Yorres, Seele and Saan, Ammy and Melinda, and Reetno, who had recently grown a lot older. Fulu seemed fascinated with Reetno's beak, which made him a little uncomfortable. Skokey tried to remedy the situation by telling a stupid joke, which made him uncomfortable.

Vessel barely moved from his spot. His injuries had grown a lot more painful since the other day, mostly because he was sore. He had some trouble breathing, and the days seemed to be prophesying rain. Grudgingly, Skokey managed to carry Vessel over to the Old Oak. And just in time, a few hours later, it started to rain. Vessel thanked him heartily, and wasn't surprised to see little animals surrounding him again. Skokey tried to shoo them away, but of course, they wouldn't leave.

Everything seemed right, but Vessel felt something was wrong. He told Skokey about it in a dream, but he seemed to shrug it off. Vessel couldn't help but feel that the humans weren't finished with them yet.

***

The next day was sunny, without a cloud in the sky. And because of the earlier rain, it was nice, cool, and a little misty. Skokey decided to take a little walk by himself. Oddly enough, he found himself going towards the edge. Fenqua managed to catch up with him and started to prod him the other way. They heard a rustling near the edge. Skokey stood alert, keeping Fenqua behind him.

Divine Abandonment - Chapter 2

The deer had gone through Winter without any problems. They were fortunate to live in the Endless Forest, as the Twin Gods provided plenty of food for them despite the weather. The snow came and went every few days, so it never was too terribly cold either.

Quad and Creek had a conversation every day. He was very curious about his father's life, and loved to hear all about his mother. Creek rarely smiled, but his head was held high and he answered Quad's questions as sincerely and honestly as possible. He wanted to hear about Quad's adventure, but chose not to ask until he felt the time was appropriate. They only spoke for a few minutes at a time, though, and then Creek would walk off to do his own things. Quad never followed him, and always wondered where he would walk off to.

The months went by quickly. On a day in the middle of February, Creek met Quad near the pond, and finally he asked, "What did you think about your mother?" Quad lowered his head, "She was beautiful...and very kind...", he began to say, "The little time I spent with her was the best moment of my life." "And what did you think about the hunter that shot her?", Creek changed the subject. Quad raised his head, "Please, I don't want to talk about the humans right now."

Creek shook his head, "They're repulsive.", he stated. "I don't think they all are.", Quad answered. Creek tilted his head, "How can you take their side? They kill our kind, and in some cases they cage us and look down upon us!", he said, becoming slightly enraged. "The one that killed Mom...", Quad started, "...was misguided. He did not know what kind of balance he was upsetting." "Bah!", Creek responded, walking off in anger.

Pega: Yea, I fell behind again. XD Writing a chapter everyday makes you not type other things. But since I couldn't get a chance to start on a chapter 'til late, I'm not gonna post one tonight. This is getting done instead. =]
Album for your (and my) sanity. XD

No really, does anyone like my new icon?

No one said anything about it last time. T_T

And nothing much happened today. It was a slow, poetic day. Very pretty, but not a ton of piccies taken. I figure it's more fun to take piccies of action because anyone can go to the same spots I did and appreciate the beauty of the Forest. Though if anyone wants me to attempt poetic "photography" I'm quite willing to attempt.

Tonight's story, start with the piccy below.

Problems Connecting to the Inernet.

I have followed the instructions and gone to the screensaver, entered options, and tried to open Network, and tried to log on, but I keep getting "connecting, errorr, cannot connect."
I dont know if it is on my end or the server. I just got a new computer, and it has Windows Vista installed on it.
