if your deer dont have an emo set, but you still want to do this, go ahead and make one up! you can ask me or someone else for help (i love designing sets) or come up with one on your own. you arent required to wear the sets at all (they are your deer after all). so have fun with it!

My deer:
Skokey's set, comprised of the Long mask, Deer of the Dead pelt, and Candle antlers. A set made up of intricate designs and dark motives. The mask represents Skokey's devotion to the Twin Gods, but he still doesn't completely trust them. The candles represents the one who guides souls into the afterlife, using dim candles to light their path. And the pelt reminds him of his past, of how sickly and thin he used to be. The bones reminding him of his illness, the black reminding him of how far he was from the light...
Fulu's set, comprised of many things you would never find dark, but full of symbolism. Her antlers represent a bird who's been shot through the wings, leaving blood stains and crippled flight. Her mask represents what she is feeling, and the blood of unhealed wounds replacing normal tears. Her pelt represents the scars of past wounds, scars that will never fade away. These streak down her back as if she had been scourged several times.
their sets are very symbolic, which is why they only resort to them when they are depressed.
