The Big Zombie Deer is asleep in the Old Oak right now. You can get your zombie set from him by casting spells on him. I just got mine. First time Mushroom is wearing the zombie set. I missed it last year.

The First Day...

for Specter as an adult in the forest Laughing out loud I think I might keep a journal going about him, updating every now and then, since he's more of a character than any of my other deer. All my other deer are very similar and far to like me, but Specter gets to be different, so, uhm... >> Here goes : ) It has pictures, too! 8D "The Guardian" is how Specter refers to me, by the way

Dear Journal,
I awoke in the forest today. It was bright and sunny and not foggy like I was hoping it would be. The Guardian promised me the dark days were coming, but I have yet to see that promise fulfilled. The longs hours spent in the company of Sqish and Vision are becoming unbearable, but even a moment spent with Skie makes me feel like I'm in a hell of puffy clouds, rainbows, and cute fuzzy ducklings dancing to Caramelldansen. That song has been stuck in my head for days -.-

But on to the day! Yes, it was sunny, and and there was mooing in the distance. I remembered the sound from my days as a fawn, and I ran off to find the creatures. There were just a few of them, playing with each other. The one.. he tried to nuzzle me o.o. I tried to evade him, but he followed me for a time, crying and bawling his eyes out. So, out of mercy, I gave him a small nuzzle back, then quickly retreated to the trees. I liked that little fawn, I followed him for quite some time, but he learned to ignore my presence like so many others, so I slipped away to the graveyard.

Hanging Flowers - Epilogue

Skokey stood on the bridge, staring at the sky. It was an oddly purple color, and the water was thick and black. But it all seemed familiar, as if it had always been that way. Skokey's dull reflection wavered slowly in the black ooze. He paid no mind to it. Something else had caught his attention.

”Skokey!” Fenqua ran to him, a smile spread across her face.

Skokey turned to meet his love, warmth overwhelming his body at her sight. ”Fenqua...”

Fenqua skidded to a stop at the base of the bridge. She slid forward rapidly, and collided with Skokey. The rails on the side seemed to disappear, throwing Skokey into the pitch black water.

”Fenqua!” Skokey screamed at the top of his lungs. ”Fenqua, help!”

He sank lower and lower. His legs paralyzed, unable to bring him back to the surface. Fenqua looked over the edge with an unchanging look of horror. Nothing escaped her throat. Air slowly bubbled to the surface. Everything around him was completely black, but the vision of her was clear.

”Fenqua, please! Fenqua!” He screamed. The last tiny bubbles fell up the water. Fenqua seemed to fade away. Fenqua... I can't leave you all alone...

***

Skokey's head shot up. He was panting, and his heart seemed to almost burst out of his chest. A nightmare... he thought. He shook his head, trying to shake off the horrid memories.

He looked to the east. The sun had already risen. He could sniff the scents of far-off dear that had already awaken. He heard someone trot up to him. A familiar tan stag appeared before him, with a grave look on his face.

“I know, I know... I guess you saw, huh?” Skokey said softly, keeping mind to a sleeping Fenqua.

Vessel nodded.

“I suppose not all nightmares are protected by you. Is that right?”

He nodded again.

“I'm sorry...”

Vessel shrugged and shook his head. He gave attention to Fenqua, which made Skokey smile.

Falling into Fall (2)

There is no exact feeling that I can describe about this season. Is it my most hated or is it my most loved. The fall, a sign of deing of old. The time where we all feel a certain renewable feeling. The memories of this year will fade and problems will slowly sink back into the earth from which they belong. But as soon as spring comes they will return like trees' buds and explode in a suprizing matter.

But fall, for me, is just memories. Many things change in the fall, many things have changed for me, but nothing has rid of the feelings I've always had for it. In my heart there is some type of inner energy and the wisdom comes back again. Control returns again. Veiws of how other people see me go away again. And I sign all the rude veiws off into a boat that will return in the spring with new ones.

But, memories bring back the bad also. Bring back the hidden memorials, and tantilizing laughter. I would prefer to have the memory of a mouse than an elephant, so then I can remember nothing and every day will feel like a new one and very face will seem like a new freind.

I wish I could feel like that better deer, but I don't feel that way. And sadly but so every opinion stays no matter when the seasons change. Veiws are fried into the minds of those who aren't willing to let go. Which is why it's hard to let things fall and go away. It's why the leaves die but never go. It's why the sun diseapers but never leaves.

If we had short memories nothing would get accomplished, maybe, but
the feelings for each other may be renewed.

I wish fall would wash away the memories.

Part 2
It has started...I will be spending most of my time in the water I can see...
swiming with my secrets...

Things are getting colder, and the water feels fine.

My name is Shinto Daisyuke. (sorry for all of the entries x3)

I grace your deer world with my presence, deer folk. For when I walk, so do those with minds walk beside me. For those who speak behind my back in ridicule, solely speak behind me because I am ahead of them. I am the speaker for those who cannot speak. For those who lie outside of this wretched whole of the Endless Forest. Your wretched "Gods" are not but unsightly dieties who bow before the presence of our greater being. He is greater than all of us.

My name is Shinto Daisyuke. You may know of a higher power, but you do not know who it is.

Follow me, and I shall bring you towards the light.

A pictogram fades into view, within the shining light above the head of the deer who went by the name of Shinto. The pictogram is of Anzel. She looks dazed, her pelt fading from brown back to its normal, dusty grey, her antlers forming into keys from their original brown form, and the deer mask falling from her face. She doesn't know what just happened.

She doesn't want to know.
