I realized that people are probably confused by the deer I've created so here's a quickie biography-type thing.

The first deer is
Bliss, also known as OneDeer or TwoEars. Originally he had a different picto but I changed it a little while after joining the forums. Bliss has no "character" besides my own personality in the forest, and was originally known only by his account names, at fist TwoEars and then OneDeer. For a time he was characterized as a "monk deer" and took a vow of silence for a month to aid in returning the forest to peacefulness. After the month had passed he returned to his previous lack of distinctly individual character/personality. As time passed I played less and less in the forest and eventually decided that I needed a new deer (perhaps with an actual personality) to re-ignite interest.

On the (belated) anniversary of Bliss's creation I made
Mote as a re-born OneDeer. I intended to create a whole personality for this new fawn but lost interest and Mote only entered the forest once. ):

The creation of
Obelisk was nearly an accident. I drew Her's deer Key on iScribble shortly after joining and decided that he needed a friend. I kept drawing Key and a purple/grey-blue deer with gazelle antlers and white socks that I decided to call Obelisk. I thought about creating a new account for this deer but settled on a pictogram I knew people would recognize, OneDeer's.
Obelisk, or Obe, is still being discovered and given a character so don't be surprised by erratic behavior. It seems that Obe enjoys back flips while dancing but sometimes is very serious and introverted. Obelisk's gender may be confusing but he is simply stag in a doe's body. Generally assumed to just be a very feminine looking stag, he likes to confuse others by acting more typically like one gender or the other or even neither.
Although I really enjoy Obe's character, I have found that it feels awkward to play as a character in the forest, and so the after hosting the Party for The Path on , Obe only exists outside the forest- a character for stories and art.

The idea of re-using Mote's picto and creating the fawn
Soap Mote, also known as Mote or Soap, arose from a conversation with Her/Allice about Key, Her and Obe. I was unsure if I would actually play Soap or not but she is Obelisk's little sister and a forever-fawn. However Soap only entered the forest once as I forgot her account password for several months.
After finally getting back the password I started working on a character for her. I had an idea about a split-personality which would take advantage of her double-name and another idea which used a deathly illness to account to her absence in the forest. While I liked making up a back story I just wasn't playing her in the forest. Soap-Mote has become another inactive character.
#5. {Active}
Deer is me. For the most part Deer is only an expression of myself, and while that includes the characters I've made up in the past I have given up on trying to play as characters, I've discovered it's just not my style. Deer takes on characters occasionally, although this is rare, but don't be too surprised if you suddenly meet a Deer looking just like Bliss, Obe or Soap would.
Deer is a genderless who may often wear the Day of the (Dead) Deer mask & pelt or the Real Deer mask & pelt- antlers are anything that matches those sets- be it Butterfly, Candles, Gazelle or Peacock, he'll wear it if I like the look. Don't count on a particular set however, I will probably switch it up quite often depending on whatever makes me happy. You will have to look at Deer's separate bio to learn what set he is using.
Deer's name is based off of the
account name he has shared with this predecessors Obe and Bliss.
I believe Deer has gotten me truly interested in the forest again, I made him his own profile, so this should be my very last update of this particular blog. See you in the forest!
