Chapter 1 - Rememberance Day

Her name was Eva. She was a lovely little newborn fawn. Her eyes looked to the sky, watching the cloud-filled atmosphere as snowflakes fell from them. The forest was enveloped in the cold, white substance, and the newborn's soft white fur was a perfect camoflauge for the area.

Sadly, she was too late. The newborn gasped as blood seeped from her wounds. Her fur was lined with several lines of blood that ran down her belly-up body and stained the snow she lay upon. Two beasts stood before her, two large hunting dogs, that both smiled in pleasure. They mauled her when she was discovered, the newborn was absolutely helpless against them. But she held on, her life was slowly ending before it even started.

"Brutus, Killer, no!", a voice came nearby. The newborn turned her head just slightly to see the new creature appear, a two-legged monster that approached and kicked one of the dogs. The dog yelped and ran, the other following behind. The human knelt next to the fragile little deer, taking a cloth and wrapping it around her body to stop her from bleeding.

Eva looked just past him to see another creature. It almost looked like a pile of snow, but she could see it. Her mother lay there, her eyes closed and her face deeply saddened as she rested in the soft snow. She was already dead. The newborn did not understand anything, and writhing a little more, she cried out for the first time as the cloth was tightly knotted.

The man lifted the little creature and held her in his arms. She lay helplessly, crying and gasping much deeper now. The man carried her away, calling for his dogs, who followed from a distance.

Eva's eyes closed. She shivered and buried her face into the man's sleeve. She slowly relaxed and fell into a soft slumber.

She didn't understand...

Personality and Story: Pejgolt is a cheerful fawn who has only gotten to the forest.He may be awfully shy sometimes and even run away sometimes.He is always happy to get new friends and always keeps the old ones.He hates to roar because he thinks it draws too much loud.He alse had and has lil feathers sticking out of his back,maby they will grow in to something?

so this means no requests anymore sorry guys... but I only work nine hours a week and go to college 4 days a week, and i can't get financial aid. there still might be suprizes but I can't do requests any more.

I'm kind of new here on TEF and I hope to make a lot of friends in the forest! Thx to all the deer who were so kind to me since i came on TEF!

Poor Kaoori. She tried all Halloween month to wake up Mr. BZD. He was never up when she was around...

I wanted to interact with other people, but I guess I'm not connected properly or something... I'm named, I'm logged in to the network, but I don't see anyone else.

"Papa?"

A little fawn fumbled her way back to the Playground. "Papa?"

Another fawn followed her, trying to get ahead of her. Skokey sat under the slab with a smirk on his face.

"What is it, sweetheart?" He asked softly.

"What's a... a birch?" the little girl chirped.

"Yeah, what's a birts?" the boy repeated, unknowingly pronouncing it wrong.

Skokey chuckled, "Well, I'll tell you..." the two fawns sat infront of him, their natural responce to that statement. "I birch is a type of tree. That's why they call this forest the Birch Forest."

"So the white trees are birches?" the boy tilted his head.

"Yes, Fenkovan. For some reason, they don't grow in the First Forest. And no tree in the First Forest grows here."

The little girl pricked her big ears, "What kind of trees are in the... First Forest?"

"Oh... Maples, Oaks, Pines... A few Elm trees..."

"How do you know the difference."

Skokey chuckled, "There are many things. The biggest thing to look for are the leaves. Those are the things that tell one tree from another."

Fenkovan nodded, "What do the leaves look like?"

"Well..." He was interupted by Fenqua coming back. "Oh, hello, love." She sat down next to him, and he rubbed his face against hers.

"Well, hello. What are you three talking about?" She asked with a smile.

"Faytha and Fenkovan were asking me about trees."

"Oh, trees, huh? What do you want to know?"

"I wanna know how to tell all of them apart!" They both said simultaneously.

They really are twins, Skokey thought, transferring that through a smile to Fenqua. She seemed to be thinking the same thing.

"Well," Skokey started, "Maple leaves are big, and wide. I think they're the biggest leaves."

"Oak leaves," Fenqua continued, "are thinner, and a little longer. But they look similar. But they're not nearly as big as Maple leaves."

"Pine leaves look like little blades of grass. Those are the easiest to tell apart."

Hello evreyone, this is my first time here....i was introduced by a very good friend of mine...and i fell in love the first time she showed it to me.
I love deer...deers a beautiful creatures, especially albino deer ^-^

So i will continue to play Endless Forest...^-^
