"How did you and Mom meet?"

"Me and Fen? Well... Why do you ask?" A butterfly pelted stag looked to his daughter, his hazel eyes staring lovingly into her almost identical eyes.

"I was... just wondering..." Faytha said, scratching a dark golden hoof on the ground. Her feathers swayed in the slight winter's breeze.

"Hmm... Well, I remember it was a nice, warm summer day. I was still young, almost a teen... My father, your grampa, had recently passed away, but I wasn't gonna let that get me down. I decided to go out and make some friends one day."

"Grampa? Oh yeah... What did he die of again?"

Skokey shuddered slightly at the thought. "It was... some kind of disease, I dunno... A lot of older deer were catching it. Thanks the Gods I didn't..."

"Oh yeah..." Faytha looked down, wondering what it was like. She snapped out of it soon enough, "Oh, um, anyway..."

"Oh yeah... Well, I went to the Pond. You know it's the most popular place to be. Anyway, I found a big group of deer, they looked like they were having a pretty good time. I didn't find anyone my age at first, which got me a little disappointed... But then I found Fenqua." Skokey smiled, blushing, remembering the first time he saw her.

Faytha smiled, "What was she like?"

"She was... smaller, a sweet little face, with big blue eyes... She wore purple flowers on her head all the time, and she was a little toned, not as much as now, but she was in pretty good shape for a fawn. Better shape than me, that's for sure." He winked, catching Faytha off guard.

"But yeah... " He continued, "I went over to her and asked her name. She knew I was pretty nervous, I was shaking like crazy! She asked me to dance with her and the rest of the group. So naturally, I said yes and... Well, we had a lot of fun that day. We left the group to play together. We played tag on the rocks here, talked... Probably one of the best days of my life."

"But.. you were just friends then?"

Note: I know little poems are not cure-alls for what may be clinical problems, but being someone who has deep, dark lows, I know they can help at least a little bit.

I recently picked up Bon Jovi's album "Have A Nice Day" to add new content to my MP3 player. So I put all the songs on the player and started to listen to them.

Well, the 3rd song has become one of my favorites. The lyrics absolutely touch me, I can relate to what they sing.

Plot - After a catastrophic event whiping out most of the world's wildlife and a large chunk of human civilization, those people who still remain believe that many creatures, including deer and wolves, have gone extinct. However, the deer of the endless forest remained completely untouched by the rest of the world's catastrophies. Deer from outside of the forest still remain in the world in multitude, but have learned to use magic to make theirselves seem like humans, in the eyes of humans, though still deer in the eyes of eachother. Those of the endless forest have also learned to use forest magic to seem like humans outside of the forest.

Yeah, just decided to put them all on a journal entry instead of spamming the pictures - page to death.

They are not actually pixel art. I looked some tutorials and I'm using completely wrong tools lol.
I'm using brush tool instead of pencil tool = a lot smoother looking pictures. O:
But it doesn't matter to me, i like this way better so i keep doing them using brush.
