Times(s) of day: Evening
The Twins of Dance
I woke up by the pond. Late in the evening? Why yes. This is because lately I haven’t had much time to sleep. My small joints crackled as I stretched and my eyelids stayed closed until I was ready to move on.
When I opened my eyes, everything was so bright. But that didn’t matter; the Twins of Dance were right across the way.
The soft lapping of water was a gentle rhythm to my footsteps as I scurried around the pond. I jumped and skipped, such excitement coming from me today! I was a big fan of the twins.
They sat beautifully together, and a smile reached up on my face before I moved forward. I bowed and then stood some distance away and waited. They didn’t rise. Disappointed as I was, I still waited and eventually the one on the left rose. I’m not sure who are which, but I know their names are Quince and Uno. But yes, the deer bowed to me and I bowed back, then it rested again.
I was rather frustrated, but then again maybe they wanted there peace. I felt embarrassed quickly. So I walked around and eventually came back, being greeted by the one on the right this time before it rested again.
Me being scared, and The Quadruplets of Dance
I hurried away, joining a deer that so far I am clueless of the name. Quite a fun deer, though random at the same time… The deer seemed to want to cast spells on me. But on our way to the masks, we met the Twin’s of Dance, they’d stood up. I was quite excited, though embarrassed at the same time. I was wearing blue eye makeup! But I pushed the idea away that they’d think differently of me with it on, and that I was getting a mask soon from the unknown deer.
Why was I frightened? The Twins of Dance were rearing. Its not that it was
scary or anything, they just sort of caught be off guard each time they did it. I still like them a lot, though.
Then, out of the blue, The Quadruplets of Dance began. They all looked alike, deer I did not know dressed up as the Twins of Dance. I laughed and giggled. You could see them try to keep rhythm with Quince and Uno, but it just didn’t seem to work out. But it was still hilarious.
21 and her awesome “no antlers”
Silently I left the laughing group, the quadruplet group of deer still dancing their hearts away. Where was I going? To the lovely doe, Twenty-one. The first deer to become a doe in the forest. I was
extremely excited.
I hopped as I ran, scurried across the creek and slid to a stop in front of her. I beamed as I bowed. She bowed back but what caught be off guard, and quite frozen with shock, was she had no antlers. None at all! There were two little stubs, not the large stubby antlers, but really
stubs. I asked her over and over again why she had them, and I don’t know if she understood. But if she didn’t, she seemed to be answering right.
But soon I forgot of them and put it to the back of my mind. We jumped and galloped over and around the creek by the crying idol. Our pelts were a bright orange, and I was a happy fawn to be sharing the same pelt as 21.
But then mine disappeared. I was quite miserable after that until 21 “achooded” hers off. But then… I had to go. I was trying to get some more sleep that night, as I didn’t want to wake in the evening again. So I said my farewells, curled up and slept soundlessly.

A simple Journal for my little staggy fawn Dovev. He's new to the forest, and was glad to get some awesome moments in the forest for his first journal entry. ^^
Thanks for reading! <3
It was nice to meet you,

It was quite a wake up to
I love 21, she's a beautiful deer. I kept wondering if she'd lie in the poppies because it'd be a wonderful photo (I'ma photoholic ^^).
Hope to see you again as well. <3
