This is probaby one of the more interesting games I've ever played. My boyfriend showed it to me and I entered the world alone. I spent the first few hours unnamed and then took on the symbol I am known as now. It seems as though the majority of the deer are quite friendly, though I have come across one or two that have been a little standoffish. So far I love the game, and I'm interested what life as an adult will be like once I reach it in a month's time.

There have been a few confusing things.. namely, is there an intermediate stage? I have seen a deer around that is bigger than the fawns but is smaller than the adults. Also - how is magic attained? So far I have seen it by, eating from trees, rubbing trees & eating, laying, and being close enough to others so that there is a bright glow. Are there other ways? Also, as an adult, do you get to hold onto pelt colours and horns? Can you decide to set a pelt colour and not have to have someone cast it on you all the time?

Rather then agressivley seeking the answers I think I'll take the time to find out first hand.

hey fellow deers (stags) and fawns!

i see that most of the endless forest parties are near October and stuff so i recon to get ppl playing all the time not just that season, is we start parties! ^-^
soo i recon it would be a reallyyy gud idea if we have a costume party! it means u can dress up(customise) your deer in a creative way and show it off to a group of deers attending.
It would be a great way to make new friends and create new styles!
If u wish to attend ( all deers can attend that ,means stags and fawns!)
it will be on the endless forest version 3, at the pond.
i will b there and many more deer too!
it starts on the 22nd of feb 09 and another one is on the 28th feb 09!
all day bust mostly around 10am-6pm Australian time! or 10am-9pm NZ time and for the US ppl its all day long!! yeehaa

SEE YA IN THE FOREST!

I found out that I actually had an account older than this one. So, not wanting for him to rot for eternity (yikes), I decided to throw him at you all. Like Trident, I want to give him a story and since he was created on 2/28/07, that'll make him older than my other stag.

So, if your fawn needs a grandfather or some sort, don't be afraid to comment. I like to roleplay as well and we could brainstorm to broaden it if you wish. AIM is on my account info. MSN is . Shh, I know it's long and "WTF" but it's old and I have had it a long time.

Hehe. Cata in the dust again. This time, he can feel the confidence. Everything will be okay, even when the wolves howl.

Everything was white today. White and foggy.
The fog was here again. It was more than ever before. And the bats where around, too.
I quivered. I didn't wonder when I heard the wolves cry again. Closer than the last time they appeared.
But this time, I didn't run in panic. I felt that the wolves weren't in the Forest. And they wouldn't come today.
The Twin Gods promised.
But I hardly saw even my own hooves in front of me. It was too foggy.
The bats flew over my head and laughed.
I just laughed back. They wanted to have fun? Okay, they would get it.



When I went on, I saw a lonely fawn standing in the fog. I stopped when my eyes crossed its; I just saw its silhouette.
How scary.



At first, I went to my favourite place, the Crying Idol. Its red flowers didn't glow as usual. Its tears went down into the little river faster than usual.
Nothing was logical this time. I quivered again.
Suddenly, I noticed a skull-masked stag with a skeleton pelt and big, red antlers.
He tried to chase a little fawn away. In disbelief, I stood still next to them. I wanted to help, but probably the fawn would have gotten more scared because there was another big stag.
But the fawn even didn't seem to be scared. It sticked the tongue to the angry skull-stag and went happily to me to greet me.
I had too laugh. Cute little thing. How good that the stag hadn't hurt it. He just went off. I even saw him laughing a little.



[i]After that, I decided to leave my new company behind - they didn't really stick to me, and I felt nervous in the fog so I couldn't stay at one place.
I went to Twin Gods Hill and bowed. I felt their silent promise that they would keep the Forest safe.

1. can u have more than 1 deer ? (yes) How?,, on the same account or shall i make a new account ev'rytime i want a new deer (You can choose to create a new acount for every new deer, but you can also choose to make different deer on one account, by giving them different sets and such ^^) but if i want 2 do it on this acount, how shall i do that? ( What I see a lot of people do, is create different sets and different bios. For example, they have one stag with the orange pelt. They call him "Staggy". Write a bio for him, so others can recognise him. But, they want another deer, but don't want to make another account. They use the same account, with the same pictogram, but give this new deer a different set, and make it a doe. They call this deer "Doey". They'll write another bio for this deer, so to others it's clear that when they are in-forest with "Staggy's" set, the deer is "Staggy". But when they wear "Doey's" set, the deer is "Doey".
Did that make any sense? ^^)

This morning was the beginning. The beginning of her adult hood. How she had yearned and wished and waited ever so patiently for this day to come, to come into her own. With a dark heavy graceful rack that curved down past her muscled shoulders anda soft gleaming striped pelt that had been scented by the clover field... Kura sat in contemplation.

What had she been expecting? When she was just a mere fawn the adults had helped her to find her way. They taught her how to feed, and which plants were safe as well as those that were not. They had guided her to water and also whereto sleep safely through the cool nights.

But now.. now was a time where she was far less welcomed.

"No longer am I a part of something much bigger. Now.. now I am alone. I am chased away from those who watch over their little ones as though I am a common beast." The thought left a strong distaste in her mouth, and a heavy weight on her heart.

Resting beneath the old willow she had all but literally grown up beneath, a soft breeze shifted the branches gently sending the tiny leaves tickling over her fur.

The fog was thick today. "All the better I suppose." she considered, as it made it easier for her to dissappear. Somehow she had expected more, or at least, not to be shut out of the world she had grown to love so dearly. "Even the mid-day Sun shuns me. What drearyness I wake in."

The red-wing black birds danced in an elegant swirl within the heavy mist playing, seeking food, and enjoying their time upon the earth.

Sadness settled deeper within her heart as she rested her head upon the dew-laden grasses. She was alone. Surely this day was nothing more than an Omen of what was to come.

This is totally not turning into TEF's own personal weather channel, but it's foggy in the forest today, and Seri's all growed up! :3 I've yet to find her a mask, but I'm pretty sure of what coat and antler set I want. ^^

The fog is incredible O: At first I thought it was snow, but it makes it hard to recognize deer, just as fog irl makes it hard to see people x] Whoo. Seri had to check first to see if her from Hto was really Hto. Ohjeezus.

It's amazing how much older deer w/sets get tailed by other deer and also fawns! Seri's the center of attention, and is a little shy from all of it, but she loves the fact that spells stick to her now.
