Tolerance [read if you wish] - necessary bump

EDIT: It seems people need to be reminded of certain things. Think carefully before you complain. Is it really a problem? Do you really want drama started up when things seem to be peaceful again? Can we keep this place inviting when the real world isn't always?
Keep in mind the date I posted this. Not all of the points mentioned are relevant currently, but I will refrain from removing them since I still feel they are good points to remember.
---

"tolerance
Noun
1. the quality of accepting other people's rights to their own opinions, beliefs, or actions
2. capacity to endure something, esp. pain or hardship"

I think more people need to understand this word.

People are pointing out that there is drama on this site. Well, last night I found myself thinking before I fell asleep. What drama are they talking about? The only drama I'm seeing is people saying there is drama and that they wish to leave because of it.

Why?

What drama?

Please explain to me what you're talking about.

Keeping in mind the word tolerance, it might not be anything bothersome at all. It only is if you allow it to be.

So the biggest things that seem to be complained about are the dragon eggs, deer updates, and roleplays.

Why?

What's the big deal?

Can't you just ignore them if you don't like them? Tolerate that they exist?

I'll admit the dragon eggs aren't part of the Forest, but other things that get discussed on here aren't either. We're only human, and we'll go off-subject. Everyone goes on a tangent now and then. There are always posts on here that have nothing to do with the Forest.

Nowhere does it say this place has to be only Forest-related blogs and pictures. That's why there's an "Other" category in the Pictures section.

The Happy Forest Memories Thread

EDIT AGAIN: DON'T MAKE ME BUMP THIS ohwait I already did. Poooooooossssst! AND HAKUNA MATATA, DAMMIT.

EDIT: THIS NEEDS A BUMP. Don't worry, be happy, and all that. Go through your screenies and look at how much fun we can be with our friends. C:

Anywho; in this thread I'd simply like everyone to dig through their screenshots as far back as they go and post your favorite memories with other deer. You can caption them if you like to give a little context, but sometimes the image alone tells the story. It can be anything, with anyone. The point is only to share your best times in the game and appreciate friendships and all that nice sappy cheesy stuff. :3 I'm really just looking to make a feel-good thread here.

Fled's first Abopgenesis. This was the first time I had seen so many deer in the Forest, and I thought it was so awesome.

Some of Fled's first friends.

The Lightbringer's New Year Party.

The Forest's remembrance of Emiva's friend who passed away. It was sweet to see everyone support her.

Mystress has always been one of Fled's most wonderful friends.

The fawn party for the birth of Rai's nephew (if I remember correctly).

Speaks for itself <3

Music's Journal: Day 1

I had just entered the forest! It is so beautiful and peacful! And the first thing I saw was a beautiful statue with two waterfalls coming out of it... I heard it was called the crying idol. I went and layed down on a rock under one of the waterfalls. It was very beautiful. I decided to make it my home Smiling. Then I went out to play. There were a lot of stags out. I think a party was going on. First I played with some fawns, and two other stags. We had a dance party! Then I ran over to the Ruins and played with some other deer. A lot of them were floating! It was funny. After that we all ran near the pond and I played Simon Says with two stags! It was hilarious! Whatever I did, they did. If I laughed, they laughed. If I reared, they reared. I loved it! But then I got really tired, so I ran to the crying idol (my home) and slept on the rock. The funny thing was, that the two deer, and a whole bunch of other deer who were playing Simon Says, ran after me! I felt bad because they probably thought they were still playing! So I went to sleep on my rock... I wonder what the others did!

A message for everyone

To: Anyone
From: Anyone

I'm sorry.

(Apply it to whoever you want. It's your message to send if you wish. And mine as well.)

Starting antlers??

Right now I'm working on my own Endless Forest plush. I wanted to start with the set you first have when you start. But the problem is I'm stuck on the antlers...I want them to be as close to the game as possible, but I can't seem to get a good screenshot, I have tried drawing from the original concept art.. but it doesn't look right. If someone has a good image or could draw them I would be forever in your debt.

This is what it looks like so far...

Small Rant...maybe. XD

Okay, here's the deal; no, I'm not leaving or going on about my life, I'm talking about people leaving. Many have said the drama is too much, and the roleplaying is bad for the in-game and out-game experiences. Well, I don't see any of that...at ALL. Why? I don't Look at any updates, I don't Read any of the stories....(Well a few), and I don't even know where on earth you guys roleplay in the first place! I love this site just fine, and mainly use it to find out who some awesome deer was. I don't usually talk a lot on here, because I know how many take it personally and get upset. And now I'm probably spamming with another rant about this. I'm just saying, I don't read it, thus, I don't get involved in it, which results in me having fun with everyone when I'm in the forest, and on the site. Maybe just flipping the off switch on some things will help those of you feeling stressed over drama. Just a suggestion, because I hate to see all these people go, and now even Jen, our probably biggest project organizer, has talked about leaving. ;.; It's terrible to see this happen. When it's just time, or something that makes you leave, that's understandable, TO ME, (We're all entitled to an opinion.) but the drama could just be dropped by leaving the roleplaying alone.

Now, I'm not saying roleplaying is bad, I used to all the time, with horses, but I kinda fell off, just because I got bored. If you enjoy it, you can keep on, Of Course. But for those who don't like the drama associated with it, I'm sure you can find something to fill the gap of time spent normally roleplaying.

=) And please don't hate me! -cowers behind rock-

Well, so much for being small.

Is it possible...EDIT: No it's not possible...

to have two different versions of TEF on your computer?

What if you had ver 3.21 on the C drive

and 3.20 on the D drive?

Because I'm getting fed up with my pictos not spreading and I'm wondering if 3.20 will have better luck. But I dont want to uninstall 3.21 and move 1000s of screenshots.

No it isnt...because the installer automatically installs it onto the C Drive. Ah well.

Unless Sluggs knows how >_>

New to the endless forest

I explored a bit of the endless forest today. It fascinates me and at the same time i'm puzzled about what I should be doing. What would be my next step? But in the end, I have the same choices to make in life....
