I stopped by the Forest just to make sure its still there. Was so nice to hear deer meeee-meeing in the distance. Rain finally streched her legs a bit - she ws sleeping for sooo long... Anyhow it was great to be around as a deer after a bad and busy day...)

Ballet Update!

Confirmed Stories: Many of these were inspired by screenshots, a few by contributors, and all of them are very special. Names are of deer or humans who gave us the idea either directly or indirectly. Thank you!!

Fawn's First Day--in which a newly-wakened fawn gets used to life in the forest (terabetha and Kassy)
Antlers!--in which a deer turns one-month, gets her antlers, and runs around acting a fool trying to get other deer to put stuff on her head
Nature Walk--in which a line forms (I believe Quammy Express is the correct term, yesyes? must remember to ask Q's human) and about fifteen deer stroll around looking at pretty things (Roucaud and Quamar)
Forest Games--in which a cranky stag is convinced to join the fun at the playground (Mr. Red)
By The Pond--in which a shy young deer finds a group of friends near the Crying Idol (JesusFreak3 and Chantico)
My Deerest--in which there is a deer Masquerade, and a stag and doe find each other (anonymous--but we need a deer couple!)
In The Hands of The Twin Gods--in which a doe finds comfort from her cares by dancing with the Two (Lun)

Well, my deer has a new look and no name. Sort of a night-spirit now.

For some reason my screenshots are not working at all on this computer, even trying to use the print screen method, instead of pressing P. Neither method seems to work to get screenies of my deer, so if you see me in the forest, please take some screenies and send them my way? <3

Sorry it doesn't rhyme but thought i should do something.

This was just a random thing I did yesterday, inspired by Fledermaus's vector deer tutorial.
Yeah, I know, the anatomy sucks and it has a generic pose and it looks very weird. Especially the hindlegs... It took me whole day to make and that is the best I could come up with. Well not the whole day, I did other stuff too every now and then but still. Those cracks in the hoofs were the hardest part.

Today, I learned what it means to be a deer in The Endless Forest.



To be a deer means to be at peace.



To be a deer means to have time to see beauty...



...that you might not have time to enjoy otherwise, or might miss.



Being a deer means seeing odd things and having time to enjoy them (note the random floating bird).



Being a deer means seeing the sights and discovering places.



Being a deer means realizing that being nameless with no pelt can be just as fun.



Being a deer means realizing that falling in the pond is fun and you really want to do it more. Being a frog is just too much fun.



Being a deer means enjoying wading in the pond...and catching a funny look on your deer's face even though you didn't mean to.



Being a deer means discovering the Crying Idol and the beauty that surrounds it...



...and finding a creative way to bow to it.



Being a deer means running through a statue so you can turn red...



...then bathing in the streams that come from it.



Being a deer means just taking a nice walk through the forest (and not feeling like a deer with a human face).



Being a deer means discovering that running through trees has its own sound (as does your deer slipping). Then, when you go back to the picture, you also see what looks like your deer farting.

Help please? I can't figure out the code.

Forests are clearing
Cold creeps in
Filling to the brim
Rythmic snoring
Birds cawing
Curled up asleep
Dreaming deep

The deers eyes squinted from the sun
The shining light we had all wished would come
Brightly shone the forests below
All the deers shaded from the suns glow
They ran through the trees and swam in the stream
To cool themselves from the suns beem
And all of them wished that it would go away
But too soon they would wish for it to ever stay
It was sunny in the United Kingdom, wooooo, i actually had to go in the shade for a once, not dodging them because they were too cold. Hope it lasts Txx
