Rock Hound RP/Event Blog here

I came up with an idea for a new creature during my drive up here to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I wrote down the notes, intending to tell you guys about them later, but since I'm wide awake tonight here they are.

These new creatures are called "Rock Hounds" (which is a term often associated with geologists). The ideas I had for them are the following:

- They are created by my infectious stoat, Iugulare, as scouts and hunters. She has ordered them to seek out Quad and incapacitate him (or even kill him if they are able).

- They are the reanimated skeletons of a lost species of wolf that lived before the Endless Forest. They were wiped out in a mass extinction (haven't decided on this yet), so they are quite bitter toward living creatures. Their bodies are entirely bone and infection aside from a special crystal Iugulare has created that animates them.

- There are four types of crystals, each with it's own color, that gives each Rock Hound a special attribute. The attribute can be determined by the color of the glow within their eyes. The colors and ablities are:

Red - Enhanced strength (Red Rock Hounds can often overpower even the toughest of deer)
Blue - Stronger defenses/more endurance (Blue Rock Hounds can take much damage without wearing down)
Green - Regeneration (Green Rock Hounds can heal their bones quickly)
Yellow - Enhanced speed and reflexes (Yellow Rock Hounds are extremely swift and agile)

- The crystals are made of either quartz or diamond so it is difficult to break them. Removing the crystal lodged in the Rock Hound's skull will 'defeat' them (the bodies fall apart and will no longer move on their own) though the spirit/essence of the Rock Hound remains in the crystal.

"Do you know where Lady Sierra is?" he questioned him.
The goblin's brow furrowed "No I haven't,has she gone missing "he inquired.
"It's possible ,she wasn't in her room and the other goblins told me she didn't sleep there last night."he said worried.

"You can't really hold a candle to their information"Hoggle mused."But they would never lie about Lady Sierra"he said truthfully.All the goblins were fond of her it was unlikely that they would lie about something as important as this.

Jeremy bit his lip"Where could she be"he said more so to himself.
Hoggle looked at this man wondering how he knew her,but put that aside.
"The Goblin King,must know about this,she could just be wandering around,or she could have been taken.Either way he will get her back" Hoggle reassured Jeremy


Jeremy eyes grew colder as he spoke ."That won't be necessary,it is I who shall find her"he said dertermined."Your king cares nothing for her,and has abandoned her.Tell your king that I will gladly relieve him of her,and that he should concern himself with other things.It is I who shall be there to take her hand and comfort her,with no interference from him"he snarled before leaving.

" OOhh boy Quite a trouble maker that one.The king is not going to take kindly to those words."
Hoggle raced to find the Goblin King to tell him about Sierra's disapperance,and also the bold words of the Prince of Dragons.

Meanwhile in the meadow not very far from the castle Sierra lay sleeping against her horse Little Prince.The suns rays soon woke her from her slumber.Yawning she stood up and went to the nearby pond to wash her face.Before she could reach the water she slipped on some the surrounding rocks.

When you come across a Taurus female, the first thing you will notice about her is her undefeatable emotional strength. She is capable of handling the severest of problems, without shedding even a single tear. She has the infamous Taurus temper, but it is seldom displayed. Atleast not until the provocation is too much to digest. She is as feminine as any other female, without the unnecessary tantrums. A Taurus woman has no desire of dominating her husband. She will let him handle the reins, infact this is what she secretly desires.

A Taurus woman wants a real man, who can make her proud of himself as much as she is proud of herself. However, if he fails in his role, she will take the control in her own hands. Neither will she act like a mewing kitten, nor like a roaring lioness. She is independent and has a mind of her own, but she does not want to dominate in the relationship. Their friends may be a little weird, but they will not be phonies or hypocrites. A Taurus girl doesn't fight with people she dislikes, she simply ignores them and becomes indifferent to their presence. However, she will be loyal to her true friends and they will remain with her throughout her life. In return, she will expect them to stand by her when she needs them. A Taurean woman also gets jealous, but only if you exceed the limits of casual flirtation. Everything has a limit and this also does. It's better not to provoke her anger or you will be very sorry.

She is brainy, but not too much interested in intellectual subjects. She is practical in her thinking and does not feel the need to indulge in mental gymnastics. She is balanced in her approach and you will hardly see her in a restless disposition. A Taurean girl hates anything artificial, be the flowers in her vase or the friends in her life. She has to feel the fragrance of real roses and the presence of real people. The beauty of Mother Nature especially pleases her.

Ugliness of any kind makes her miserable and repulsive. She loves to be amidst colorful surroundings, like gardens blooming with flowers.

All this makes her feel close to nature. She dresses simply, yet elegantly and her fabrics are always feather-soft. Taurus female is very strong and above the usual female insecurities. However, she demands loyalty and will never compromise in this area. She is beyond hypocrisy and has an undemanding and easy-going manner. She wants her man to take her side, especially in public. If he contradicts her in front of other people, expect the temperature to reach beyond the boiling point.

When pushed too far, she loses her cool demeanor quickly. Taurus women make excellent mothers, except for the fact that they cannot tolerate disobedience or defiance in kids. Laziness and carelessness also makes them angry. Otherwise, they will be more of a friend to their children than the typical mommies. A Taurus woman will also teach the kids how to be strong and will protect them from the big bad outside world. She never shirks from or whines about her responsibilities. Her man will be expected to do the same.

She can also bear endless pain and stress, without complaining for a single minute. She is good with finances and knows how to maintain quality in a reasonable budget. Negative Aspects
Every zodiac symbols have some negative traits also. Taureans are extremely possessive with their own possessions as well as with their partners. They often tend to get jealous, if not given necessary attention. They can be very stubborn and obsessive at times. Although Taureans are gentle and peace loving, they can burst into a feat of violent anger and rage, if provoked. Taureans can be annoying at times, as they are extremely slow and lazy. They are immune to changes. This can be either be a positive or negative perspective, depending on circumstances.


Positive Aspects
The Taurus symbol has very attractive and positive features that make people good human beings. They are peace lovers and are more practical than intellectual. They are loyal and can endure relationships without betrayals. They are homely and prefer staying indoors with a good eye for materialistic things, luxury and well furnished lifestyle. Comfort and pleasure loving are few of the most prominent features of Taurus. Taureans are lovely individuals to be with, although they are quite reserve and calm. They are sensuous to touch and are strongly passionate. Taureans make good partners having taste for good food, and drink. They are perfect individuals who can express love with utmost warmth and affection.

I have been spending my time as a crow these past days.

There is limited emotes and actions for all the smaller animals.

I have enjoyed myself nonetheless.

All you deer have been so wonderful to me, paying attention to what subtle movements I have at my disposal to communicate and play.

I apologize to those who run.

I wish there were more deer who would invite me to fly above their antlers so we could tear through the forest.

I love the deer who have danced with me, and those who have learned how to talk with me.

I like to circle all of your long long legs and rest my beak on your shoulder while you sleep.

If you feel like I am following you everywhere you go, its because you have a carrion pelt.

But those skull faced-carrion deer who I have followed have let me rest beside them. I promise, I only pick the bad flesh and maggots. I wont hurt you.

Also I love the other crows, maybe someday we can have a congress of crows.

But my most favorite thing is the fawns who stand beside me and yell at their parents, because they don't want to go, but want to stay and play with the big black bird.
