My stomach is making noises, and it feels weird in a bad way. Apart from that I had a great day today. In school amlost everybody in the sewing workshop - where I work - was in a dancing mood. Or at least the ones I like the most. The food wasn't good, but it rarely is. And I got painted in the face! The graphic workshop was practising face painting so they can paint children for money in the center as a part of the Kenya project we have. They asked for some "voluntary faces", and I love to get painted, so I said yes. I became a red Gene-Simmons-look-a-like butterfly with matching red/black striped stockings and a t-shirt with the word "DEAD" written in blood. It's an old t-shirt, so I thought it could be fun to wear. And Mufazzal had fun too. He was playing and frog-dancing with a grown up deer with brown pelt, real deer mask and antlers. I hope we'll meet again.
And now I'll go to sleep.
Godnight and see you tomorrow!
Ok. . . so I cannot escape my picture problem. Apparently I'm just as bad on games as I am in the real world. So I figured I would do a little something to utilize a good chunk of TEF screenies. I'm usually too lazy to pull up photoshop and I find it much easier to use a few simple online editors when I have such an accumulation of photos since my snapshot finger is out of control. Which, they work just fine and have the few simple effects I'd like for this blog.
Right now I'm only putting up one. Whoever this is, I'm not sure..lol. . but feel free to post. I make this for any TEF or outdoor enthusiasts. Imagine walking acres through the woods (a magical forest that is) once or twice a week, keeping close with you your (old) Polaroid camera, sketchbook/journal, and taking along some trail cams to set up along the way. What might you capture on your journey to take home with you? Well this is that journal that you find yourself scribbling in and hastily taping pictures upon. . .
Keep an eye out . . .you might just find a remnant of a familiar face : )
In this blog I will add photos or cam shots, as well as journal entries around them. When I add a new photo I will put the number in parenthesis in the title, such as (2) or (3) and so on. . . so everyone may know when something new is added in case they would like to check it out. . .as it just as well may be you lurking behind an old oak in one of my photos or starring in my journal entry from my glorious hike! When I add a new photo it will be at the top, so there will be no having to scroll for those who have already seen the photos before.
After this week, as I will need to figure out how to go about it best, I'd like to turn this into an interactive blog, so as to hear the daily tales of others as they stop to rest their feet beside the wooded trail!
Yes, I finally got a name for my little fawn; Luna. =)
Luna means "moon" of course, but besides that I just think it's fitting her. It's a happy name for a happy fawn. Allthough it's officially a male, she got a female name because she acts like a female with her purple flowers around her head and such. =)
After a few days in the forest, she learned how to communicate. Today she met some other fawns and a grown up deer were she played with for a while. As I said, Luna is the one with the purple flowers:
They started a funny little dance party:
After a while the dance party became more popular:
And now she's just laying down near the pond to rest after a lovely morning. =)
Ok, so I've had this idea for new character for a while. I didn't know which gender to choose at first, at first I thought male, but now my character's a female.
And she's not a deer, too-she's a dragon! Yeah, I decided to actually add a DRAGON in the forest. Don't you think deer are getting a bit boring? It's about time a different animal thrived in the forest!
And here's another thing: She can change into two different types of dragons: A fire dragon and a water dragon (if you don't know dragons that much you're probably getting confused already). That's right. A CHANGING Dragon. More creativity, right? Right? RIGHT?
And also, the appearance and personality of the dragon would change. When she's a water dragon, she will have the green, scaly pelt, the antelope horn antlers, and the beluga mask. She will spend most of the time in the water because water dragons are like frogs; if they aren't wet they'll die. But she can walk on land for a few minutes, and then jump back in. She would have a rude personality, but if you get to know her, she'll be very nice to you. She will also grab unsuspecting fawns and deer that are standing on the bridge, or on the side of the river. She will hold them tighter when they struggle, and she keeps them underwater until they drown. She then goes on land and eats them.
However, when she's a fire dragon, she will be wearing the crying idol pelt, have the real deer mask, and I haven't decided which antlers yet. She can not go into the water because she'll die, so she does not go near the pond at all. She can fly to trees and watch fawns and deer below. But she does not have her personality as a water dragon. Instead, she is very sweet, caring and very nice. Sometimes fawns climb on her back and she gives them a ride. She rarely gives adult deer rides because they're heavier than fawns.
Also, she alternates between the two dragons everyday.
"What?" The peacock stag stomped on the ground as the mini doe stepped back. "I have a son?"
"And he's been around for quite a while," The mini doe said. She dodged away from one of the stag's angry blows.
"What's....his name..." The stag grunted.
"I don't know, Zvi. All I know is that he has a peacock pelt, just like you. I think the meaning of his name is rock..."
"That's not enough!"
"Well, I know his pictogram." The mini doe said. She blinked as the stag stomped the ground, sending dust all over her face.
"Zvi-"
"WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?"
The doe sighed. Using her hoof, she drew a rectangle leaning to the left, drew a squiggly line on the top, and then an X in the middle. The stag grunted. He stared at the picto for a moment, studying it as if he had to remember it. But the doe had to remember it.
"Millie," He ordered in a deep voice that made her shiver in fear, "Find that stag."
I've read a lot of forum entries and other what-nots online involving spell data and different techniques for saving them. I've used a lot of these techniques as well as spell saver yet cannot save more than one spell. . .it always ends up being the last set I saved no matter what folder I've taken it from. Is it supposed to be this way? . .or is there a way to do this properly? : ( I just left it at the one I wanted for a while but I've finally decided to pursue this further as I'd like to have more than one set. The closest I've come is putting a lot of different sets together and saving the one I'd like to use more regularly, then sneezing off when I feel like changing. . . any help is greatly appreciated. I know you you've all probably answered these questions a lot. ^_^
I've just received word that both May and June slots in the Club Whirled giveaways have already been taken. This means the TEF avatar I had planned to release in June, will instead be releasing in July.
In the meantime, I'm planning on doing a Fawn avatar as well. That won't be Club Whirled - meaning it'll be available in the shops as soon as it's ready.
I have a slight dilemma now, however: I promised you a free avatar, but I'm not sure how Three Rings will enjoy seeing me give away Club Whirled items... If I create a Fawn with all the same actions/emotes/config options, would you settle for that instead? Or would you rather have the adult deer?
Before you answer, I'd like to reassure you that if you were planning on using the "template" I mentioned in the previous post to create your own deer, you will still be able to do that. The template will still be an adult deer, and will still be available to everyone, Club Whirled or not. :]
Thoughts? Oh, and I just wanted to say thank you for all the kind words in the previous thread! I'm glad you like the avatar.
As a Dutch newbie, let me say first; forgive me about my bad English.
I've got a question. I'm sure I'm not the first one, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere else, so...
I signed up in TEF two days ago, but the first time I logged on to this forum was today. My history in this forum now says that I'm a member for only one hour. Now my question; do I grow up to an adult in one month from today or from two days ago? Thanks in advance.
So... I'm gonna play in the forest again now and thinking about a name for my little fawn. See you out there!
