Hooves tapped the frozen ground, leaving large and snow-gilded prints. Behind them swayed a brush of fur that grew to tip a long, lion-like tail. The Irish Elk-sized beast seemed to stalk the winter-caught forests of this realm like a predator. His tusks gnashed as he stripped bark off a birch to his right, eating as he went. The beast had yet to meet anyone other than the beautiful and masculine doe Ravus, who seemed more than happy to play with him. Odd doe, fine playing with a beastly Unicorn male as he.

The does of his kind were the pretty ones, and the young males... all before they reached 1000 years and their adult-hoods. At 1000, the males began to breed, becoming beastly to fight for their dainty females. Tusks protruded from their jaws like a pig's, two growing right up through their nasal cavities and through their bridges. From beautiful horse-deer to offensive boar-elk in merely 50 years or so. From that to him.

The beast stopped, spotting a patch of frozen green grass. As the stag lowered his great skull, it disappeared in to the taller reeds. Anyone coming head-on or from the side would only see a giant elk's form, not very unusual in the Endless Forest. That was, until the beast lifted his well-armed head again.

For now, his dead-leaf-colored fur blew thickly in the winter wind as he savored the green shoots.

Okay well I know it's a month for a fawn to grow up into a stag/doe.But how many weeks is it?
Is it 4 weeks and 0 days or..what?

The Devil's Creed and More

For those curious as to what I do between work on my commissions when I take my 30 minute breaks. I have made it my resolution to make a complete database of Updates involving Valturez and The Devil's Creed as a whole. So for those who have a Tumblr, feel free to stalk to see what I get done over the course of the next year.

I have a feeling it's another of those silly Pacific Northwest-exclusive things that I grew up with, but yeah.

But yes..! Did anybody else grow up reading these books? I know I'm not an artist to any degree, but Robin James's artwork has always been highly inspiring to me and of course the stories are simply darling.

I'm bored and in the mood for some creative writing. I write so much for my own character that I figured I should try something else. If you've got a character you wouldn't mind seeing some short writing for drop a link to a biography. The more informative the biography, the more detailed my writing can be, so keep that in mind.
