I never learn

I just keep re-appearing. maybe this time around I'll try and actually keep the spaces between my appearances less than a year or so apart haha. Hope my few and far between remaining pals here are still doing ok, I think about you from time to time.
My long history with computer issues suddenly ramped up to a point where my laptop would hit a memory glitch and die every 3 or so months and I'd have to reset everything. It was annoying enough to get all of the programs I need for classes back on here every time and I just didn't see it as being worth it to put TEF back on again and again.
But we'll see what happens this time.

But all that prattle is pointless for the fact of the matter is is that Atiq is nekkid again. And apparently the game updated and that rendered my spelldata backups as moot.
So if anyone spies a derp hanging out by a magic source, spare a minute or two please? I need two sets this time actually, but I'm not in a rush. Just kinda hanging out and enjoying the forest.

It's been awhile.

I just wanted to share this video for all the young teens and kids on here. (and the rest of you!)

I really think you guys should watch the linked video and count your blessings.

My father and mother weren't this harsh with their punishments for children, but they were pretty darn close. I have to admit, when they punished me for seemingly stupid things, I thought I hated them. What they really were trying to do was prepare me for when actions that created punishments would get much harsher and have more consequences in the world outside of home and grade school, like losing your home for not paying bills on time or your financial aid gets delayed because you did not re-register early enough.

Really your parents are trying to help you, and you should feel lucky that they even try because there are some that don't and their kids usually end up dead or in other horrible situations.

I also know that some kids think that the punishments don't effect the parents, but they do. You'll see this in the video. Parents hate to have to punish their kids as much as the kid hates to be punished, believe it or not.

Now, if you are ready, click this link. it will take you to the page the video is on. The video is titled "Dad uses Facebook to teach daughter a lesson." I hope you understand this. It's quite shocking and a good wake-up call for all the kids out there who think they have it rough. Trust me, y'all, you don't. I promise.

I've been inspire by Sighthoundlady to draw more of my TEF deer, Wren, and other deer designs. They're simply so beautiful. You should check out her artwork, if you haven't already! Sticking out tongue http://endlessforest.org/community/node/57197

I have a question...

There are some rather playful looking emotes I think might be something that could scare or upset other deer in real life settings on the game, so I was wondering if someone might be able to let me know which ones are upsetting, which are playful, etc.? Especially that emote that lets you rear up. That could be seen as a challenge in a real life forest, so I want to ask if that one is suggesting play or a fight???
(Yes, I compare this game a LOT to the way real deer might behave and sometimes that leads me to get confused with the emotes somehow.)

You can't lean on the trees here.

In a quiet world, days are capitalized and punctuated by the sound of birdsong and the constant hushing of trees as they remind you what a quiet world this is. The birds flit by on silent wings, butterflies floating on silent winds, leaves falling without a noise. Maybe, just maybe in this place you will hear the calls of the real inhabitants, the deer.

Today, today seems lucky. Today we come across a fawn in the sun.

Just bumping this for myself for reference reasons.

This is just an experiment for now. If I find I like it I may add it to Gustiro's biography.

Cute game!

I'm wishing that Tale of Tales would start making more like this one. Maybe a more in-depth, detailed animal game where we get to choose our animal and do all the animal behaviors, including hunting if we choose a carnivore. 'Course, they should make it to where carnivores can't eat other players and instead have to hunt NPC prey. I am also in favor of their idea to have a mother deer guide you through your first steps as a fawn. Smiling That would be very cute~ I also thought it might be fun if the game introduced humans as well. Hunters who can hunt NPC animals and "Friends" who can befriend PC animals and NPC animals alike. I mean, without humans, I feel like something is amiss when I see things like bridges, graveyards and ruins in the game. It actually makes me stop in my tracks and wonder where the humans are every time. In fact, I sometimes find myself trying to make my way up hills and things past that little bridge just to see if I can't wander into a populated human village atop the mountain somewhere.

Edit: Please try to ignore what I said about predators on here... I didn't know that there was a rule against them since I'm new here. Although doesn't anyone think it seems strange that this is supposed to be a realistic game and yet we're NOT being hunted??? I apologize if I offend anyone at all, but it just seems strange to me with such a realistic game...

A Minor Adjustment [Mr. Sanguine, Cypher, Migisi]

[This is a private plot RP between the characters Cypher, Migisi, and Mr. Sanguine. Anyone else is welcome to track and read but please refrain from taking part. Thank you~]

Everything was as it should be. Everything was in its place. The bird sighed her relief as her eyes made one last pass over her collection. Shiny metals of different shapes and sizes lined the outer walls of her nesting site, stuffed into the cracks of crumbling stone. It felt like forever since she'd last admired them, struck flightless by Jack and unable to reach her nest. Jack...the thought of the white stag cooled her enthusiasm. Stepping to the edge of the support, she took flight and carried herself higher to perch on the very top of the ruin's arch. A low huff escaped her tiny nostrils as pale eyes glared down at the blood-stained alter. Migisi had never minded Jack's close proximity to her nest before, finding him a mere annoyance more than anything else, but now... Now he was a threat. Now even Bright was a threat. She couldn't stay here...

Ruffling her feathers, she settled back on her legs to peer out into the forest in a more relaxed state of mind. At such a high vantage point she was unseen, yet could see all. Ah, how she missed this. A cool breeze played at her feathers and she stretched her neck and lifted her wings to enjoy the feel. A pair of doves eyed her from where they perched further down the archway. Migisi paused to stare at them, then folded her wings quickly, feeling a bit foolish. She shifted away and gaze herself a shake before lifting her gaze once more, pondering a new nesting site.

[How does the posting order of Migisi, Cypher, then Sanguine sound guys?]
