Species: Deer/ Unicorn ((you can tell this is going to be odd))
Likes: Fruits, Nuts, Spring, Autumn, exploring the ruins, chasing butterflies, playing with fawns, making friends, rolling in the grass, watching the sky, daydreaming, sleeping; the colors orange, white, and blue; long nights, rainy days, dancing.
Dislikes: Loud noises, Winter, Summer, boredom, too much sunlight, confusion, clashing colors, hot days, anything that harms a fawn.
Abilities: "Vanishing" or becoming invisible, others around her may gain the ability for a short period of time; a unicorn horn may appear on her forehead and she may use some healing powers. However, this is a rare occurrence and will only become permanent when she is a full adult. She uses her healing abilities to regenerate or heal others in dire need.
History: Sabel was born and raised in The Endless Forest, having grown up for a great time living in The Old Oak. Her family was rather odd- a human faced deer, a unicorn, and a mix between the two. She inherited very few of her mother's unicorn traits, these being; her tail, mane, and magical abilities. As far as her father, a beluga whale patterned deer, she'd inherited his coat and silver-grey eyes. She seemed to get along rather well with other fawns, although they would stare at her odd appearance every now and then. But Sabel didn't mind- she didn't see what was wrong with them staring. Eventually they came to accept her, although others that knew little of her thought she was mysterious and strange. Yet her happy personality seemed to win over others very easily- if they were attracted to happiness or the sad and lonely type. Growing up, she found that many other oddities existed in the forest. Half demon creatures, skeletal deer, and other human faced creatures. And she found that her mother, the unicorn, most often avoided anything demonic or half dead. Even Sabel had some foreboding feeling about these creatures- their intentions, what potential they had. Having no kin though, she only had her parents to guide her and didn't quite experience the closeness of a sibling. Not even her friends could compare to that- and they had their own families with other fawns. So although she was a happy dreamer, she felt alone. When she was in her adolescence, her family had begun taking her further out into the forest- exploring to see the Ruin, The Playground, and constantly visiting De Drinkplaats- although she wasn't allowed to drink the water for some reason. She was introduced to many more strange oddities along the way, and eventually her old home was seen as a common rest place for the wary. Over time, and due to her own discoveries, she realized that she was no longer aging at the same rate as everyone else. Once her body was near full maturity, it just seemed to have... stopped. When Sabel became concerned about this and asked her mother, the unicorn explained that it was a form of immortality. That perhaps Sabel was not truly immortal, but would certainly outlive many creatures in this forest by centuries.
Creatures were generally "safer" around her, or able to better avoid harm. Hanging around her mother however, they could completely avoid harmful things like predators and even disease. Sabel herself however, couldn't completely vanish for very long periods of time. Maybe it was because of her outgoing personality- she wasn't the type to shy away or hide. She was bold, and determined to a fault- very much like her father. Her mother helped her hone this skill over time, and it became close to what she was able to do. Yet Sabel still could not use the ability for a long duration of time.
Eventually her parents allowed her to separate from them in order to go and make a life for herself in the forest. It was a celebration for her coming of age as much as it was a heart ache to leave the family she loved. But eventually the bird had to leave the nest. After she left however, she didn't run into them again... as if they'd just vanished. But how....?
Traveling through the forest, she found a strange looking mask hanging from a tree. It looked like the face of a deer, and seemed to change her voice when she wore it. Taking a liking to her new found treasure, the doe decided to keep it, marking the beginning of her adventures.

Sure thing! She's hanging
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was daylight, morning. The sun's rays shifted about, shimmering between the leaves of the tall trees and glimmering down on the forest below. A rather warm breeze swept arose the forest floor, and it was a rather calm day with no signs of rain sleet or snow. The water of the pond was ever so still, if not for the fish who came up every now and then to eat an insect or two. Sleeping on the shore was a blackish white doe, her head resting upon her forearms and her long, fluff tipped tail curled around her body. Her face was rather humanoid however, adding to the oddity of this creature. However, an abrupt splash woke her form her slumber as water cascaded itself all over her, washing away what little sleep was left in her body. Giggling, she glanced at the source- a frog, who had leapt into the water. She put her face up close to it and stuck her tongue out. THe frog did the same, and its tongue landed on her nose. She fell over and the frog was sent flying away as she laughed. "Well that's a good morning to me." she laughed.

(sorry if this isn't to good
The sun shone bright as a lonely figure slowly walked around the pond, his head hung low as he stared into into the shimmering blue abyss. The water and colours made his heavy eyes relax and aloud his racing mind to calm, he knew home was not far if he'd managed to find the pond.
Raptor had been out the whole night after getting lost in the pitch blackness. He'd foolishly chosen to follow a rather large group of deer around as they danced and played merrily together, but by the time the group had dispersed Raptor was already miles away from him little den in the blue bowl and very much lost.
Not paying attention to where he was going, his legs soon collided with something or someone laying on the ground. almost completely flipping over and landing head first in the dirt. he letting out a (totally not girly) shriek.
No worries, I like it ahaha,
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suddenly Sable felt a shift in weight and momentum as anther deer-like creature tripped and tumbled into her. Caught off guard, she found herself rolling into the pond. Sitting up and spluttering out water with fish hopping about on the shore, she pulled them back in and quietly crept up on the stranger, her fur and mane now sopping wet. She poked her head just above theirs, noticing they had a similar mask to the one she had back at the old oak. She slightly gave a delighted squeal before gently nuzzling them into a sitting position. "Are you alright?" she asked, her voice soft and quiet despite her rather energetic nature.

Shaking his head to fix his mask back onto his face correctly he looked at the stranger who'd helped him back to his feet and slowly but surely began to panic after realizing what he's done in his sleep deprived state.
"Ahhh! I'm so sorry!" he almost yells "I'm totally fine!" he stands up abruptly and begins to shaking slightly. Raptor looks the stranger over with concern, his head swivelling left and right looking for injures.
"you're sobbing wet! Damn this is all my fault I should have been watching where I was going... you're not hurt are you?" In a blur of movement he began to try dry the other off with his own coat.
Sabel slightly raised a brow,

Coughing slightly and shaking his head to hide his embarrassment he began to speak rather quietly "My names Raptor... or Ra..." He laughs awkwardly "it's up to you really... and you're 100% sure I didn't hurt you?"
He looks over at the creature named Sable and upon double checking she was okay he nods his head and begins to speak again "Sable's a nice name by the way" he states with a small smile.

A little dumbstruck by just how playful the doe was despite there rather strange meeting, Raptor just sat staring at her for a couple of seconds before rising to his feet with an energetic bounce and a playful bow.
"Hmm so your name comes from your coat aye?" his shy smile turning into a slightly cheeky smirk "well I can tell you mine comes from my speed!" he runs foreword into the reeds after her, water splashing everywhere.
Awe, how sweet

Sabel gave a surprised squeal and bolted across the water, diving into it and swimming down. She glanced back up at the surface, holding her breath. Not that she was good at that. She most she had was a minute or longer before she had to go up for air. However, she grinned. She was betting on him going down into the water. Unless he wanted to play a waiting game. Ohh, that would be harder to work with. She held in a laugh, not wanting to waste precious air. Her body was also rather light- which made it difficult to keep herself below to surface of the water. Thankfully she'd wrapped her tail around some loose reeds.

Reaching the edge of the deep
Taking a moment to think, he comes up with a rather strange idea... he rears onto his back legs and beings to repeatedly thump at the water with his front legs to scare the fish and other aquatic life in her direction, hoping that they might scare or tickle her to the surface. He couldn't do this for very long though as his lack of sleep was catching up on him.

Raptor made his way up towards the statues stealthily, trying to use trees and plant life as cover. His ears moving in every direction and his nose trying to smell for anything that wasn't pond water and fish.
Sable giggled to herself as

He jumped at the sudden sound
His eyes still not properly focused, all Raptor saw when he jumped around was the shadowy figure of a creature about to strike and again for the second time in one day he let out a (mega not girly at all xD) scream reared up onto his hind legs... only to trip on a rock and fall right on his back.

-------------------------
Surprise came to Sabel's face as the stag turned around swiftly, screaming when he saw her. And then falling over on the ground- perhaps over the first rock she'd tossed. "Shh shhh shh… it's just me you silly goose!" she laughed, nuzzling him to calm him down. She rested her head and hooves on his chest to keep him from moving so he wouldn't hurt himself or run away. "Shhhhh….." she cooed. She chuckled a little. He behaved much like a paranoid buck. Perhaps he had good reason to do so. "Thheeere. You alright fraidy fawn?" she joked.

Making a slight whimpering noise at his predicament he began to apologies "s-sorry about that... I forget where I am sometimes... you looked l-like... something else" he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, shifting onto his belly to lay down and raises his head.
He laughs a little bitterly at himself "If you haven't been able to tell so far..." He pauses "I'm a little on the skittish side, it's why not many of the other will deal with me and my... oddness."
Finally getting to his feet with a huff and a small smile returning to his face "Yeah, this fraidy fawns okay now~"

Allowing the stag to stand up, the doe shook herself free of any dust and water she may have accumulated. She gave Raptor a gentle smile. "Don't worry about it- I haven't been in your place and I have no right to assume things. I should have asked you about it before." she laughed nervously. Her tail thumped on the ground and she knelt her head to graze for a few seconds before lifting it, her ears upright and her tail loosely flopping around. "Perhaps a walk might do you better? it's always good to stretch your hooves- I love running around the trees." she giggled, hopping from her fore hooves to her hind hooves and back repeatedly. She jumped from side to side and pranced in circles around the stag.

Nodding his head up and down happily "oh yes~" Raptor hums and begins to mimic her jumping and prancing "I think that would do me some good, I love to run!".
He stops his prancing for a moment while he frowns slightly "...as long as I can remember the way back from where I run too..." suddenly his original purpose as to why he was at the pond in the first place came back. Laughing shyly he turns to her and lowers his head "I sorta got lost last night... because I ran off from my normal haunt after a group of deer..." he looks away in embarrassment but begins to jump and prance again seconds later.

Sabel smiled as he hopped around, however, she wondered if his original group was worried about him. It wouldn't be surprising unless he was widely disliked in the group. She gave him a soft smile and hopped around with him. "NO worries friend, I've been here for longer than 245 years. Lost count at that point." she giggled. "I know this forest like the bottom of my hoof. Where would you like to go?"

Raptors mind is blown by just how long she'd stayed in this place and he remand quiet for a while before shaking himself back to his senses. "-ah yes" he clears his throat "I've made myself rather comfortable within a place called the Blue Bowl, would you be able to lead me back there... or at least close to it?" be begins to trot around the doe as if to show his eagerness to get going.
(I have to go sleep now~
My night-nurse medication has final kicked in and and I'm about to pass out haha~)
That's perfectly alright c:
----------
Sabel flattened her ears slightly. "ah… the blue bowl… to me that's a pretty different name than what we used to call it. Are you talking about a drinking hole of sorts or about the field of blue flowers near the plying stones? The playground?" she asked softly, unsure. She still had older named registered in her mind.

Pondering her words, Raptors's trot slows into a steady walk as he tilts his head towards the sky, his mind trying desperately to remember the landmarks he'd passed the night prior.
"Oh yes..." he nods his head with his eyes still fixed on the sky"...it's the large field of blue flowers that you can find in the birch forest... there's a ring of large trees that grow around it too--"
Raptor comes to a sudden stop as his one working eye widens behind his mask, an image of the playground flashes crosses his mind and he turns to face Sabel "Also yes! I do believe it is near the playground!" he calls out joyfully, the shout is soon accompanied by a proud grin from being able to remember.
He begins to sway from side to side with enthusiasm as his tail wiggles all around.
Oh pst~ they're waayyyy
-------------------
Sabel grins as he confirms her thoughts. "Well, let's waste no time! That's my absolute favorite place to rest!" the doe exclaimed. And then she sprinted out in from of the stag, her tail swishing Heading between the pond and twin gods statues, she began heading for the field of blue flowers. Dust kicked up from her hooves as she picked up speed, her long tail trailing out after her and her mane flying through the wind. "Last one there gets sat on!" she called back.

Wasting no time, Raptor takes of after the doe with lightning speed. Kicking up dirt and grass as his hooves dig into the soft soil with ease.
"Pfft yeah, well I hope you make a comfy seat then~" he announces jokingly as he gain on her.
Raptor begins to jump over logs and weaves through the trees with ease, nothing is stopping him from moving forward as he continue tear up the earth beneath him. His wide grin turning into a genital smile that graces his face, the run is relaxing his normally jumpy self and he occasionally bucking his legs with glee from the feeling of freedom that he gets from running.
((Yeee :3 *stamps a burden

Sabel laughed as the stag shot past her, continuing to run at a steady pace. SHe wasn't about to exhaust all of her energy running. THey were already nearing the field of flowers, which she could just make out through the thick trees. Leaping at the one nearest to her, she used it to push of and accelerate- catching up with the stag as a cloud of dust erupted from behind her. "I know you're gonna be!" she replied with a smirk. She weaved between the trees, bumping shoulders with the stag to knock him off balance. She playfully stuck her tongue out and then locked her eyes on the soon to be chaotic field of blue flowers.

Surprised by the others
"Nonononono! You're comin' down with me!" he calls out in a panicked yet amused tone.
Making a snap decision before he hits the ground, Raptor hooks an antler over Sables front leg in hopes of tripping her up and bringing her down with him . He hits the ground and starts to roll.
Sabel was caught off guard as

Shaken heavily but still letting out a flow of uncontrollability giggles and snorts, Raptor flopped onto his belly and poked his head behind him to see the damage. Crushed flowers, twigs, grass and dirt clung to his pelt and hair, and further back he could see the indents his tumbling body had flattened into the flowers, he felt a bit guilty about them and swore he'd try and fix them later... but for now he proceeded to stand up and began the mother of all shakedowns as he desperately trued to get the debris in his coat and hair free. The dirt and twigs for him flew everywhere.
"Well it looks like you win... still want to sit on me?" He asked with a chuckle after he noticed her head sticking out not far way.

Huffing after having the air knocked out of him and being sent straight back onto his back, he lets out a surprised gasp as the doe proceeded to sit on him.
After she'd removed herself to go towards the destroyed flowers Raptor rolled onto his side and watched as a strange light began to glow. After witnessing the little seeds spring to life so quickly his eyes gleam with amazement and curiosity but he decided it best to answer her questions first so he stood up and headed over to the pile of broken flowers.
Clearing his throat and flattening his ears in sadness, Raptor begins to speak quietly "Someone come here for me?" he frowns sadly "no, no one ever comes for me... I just sort of..." He pauses again and begins to go red in the cheeks as his frown deepens from shame "...take off running after anything that passes through here in hopes that they'll let me tag along, it never works though... I'm always way to scared to go near them if I catch up" He sticks his head into the pile to hide his face, eating a few for comfort.

Pulling his head out of the flowers he looks over with a small smile and sits down next to her "How would you react if someone just walked out of the blue and ask 'hey lets be friends' after they'd followed you around for an hour...?" he stops talking for a couple of seconds with his head hug low.
"Anyway yeah!" Raptor begins mask his mood with some chirpy sounding words "I'd like that, come visit me any time I'm always around here and if I'm not... I'm lost... send help asap." He dead-pans as the words leave his mouth before laughing it off with a small chuckle, he finds his own inability to remember his surroundings amusing as they've always led to some strange adventures.
Suddenly and without warning, Raptor jolts his head up as he remembers the magic from a few minutes ago and tilts his head as he looks at Sabel "So what about you? I might not have lived here long but I've never seen magic like that done before..."
Her eyes softened and she
"Oh you haven't?" sable asked with a prideful grin. "Well, my mum had magic just like it, and much stronger. She probably still does. But apparently few creatures can use such light based magic- one of them would be a unicorn." she explained, diligently snuffing her nose into the grass and getting a good smell. "My mother was a unicorn, and my father was…. erm… well, he was something like you. much bigger though and with my fur." she said with a giggle.

Humming contently at her answer, Rapto soon begins to talk again with a curious expression "Unicorn huh...?" He furrows his brows and bites the inside of his cheek as he tries to remember if he'd came into contact with one on his travels.
"Nope, I've never came upon one before, I've seen deer, wolves, dragons, humans and a number of other creatures but never a unicorn... cool~" He joyfully blurts out that last part "So that would make you a hybrid" Raptor nods to himself, believing that to be the correct word.
"You have an interesting fami...ly..." his curiously happy expression is becoming unreadable as the word 'family' leaves his lips. Raptor stops taking and stays that way for a minute or two before he slowly starts to play around with a few stray flowers, trying to distract himself from a barrage of unpleasant memories that have crept into his mind.
He throws a bunch at Sabel, playfully trying to stop the conversation dead in it's tracks.

He senses the upset and begins to match his emotions with hers in a strange form of empathy, flatting his ears back and lowering his head he finally moves to stand beside her and says in a gentle voice "We all have things we don't want to talk about and would rather keep inside, there isn't a soul alive that's always 100% honest with themselves or others..." he nuzzles her shoulder comfortingly and places a rather large blue flower on her head "I know we've just met but I just don't like to see others sad... it's fine if it's me...
