A quiet purr slipped from Noelle's throat and after Waarhijd was settled beside her, she closed her eyes to the rain, simply enjoying the chilly water that ran down her face. "Good. I hate to see you feeling pained. How have you been these past few days?"

Noelle turned her head just enough to touch the side of her muzzle to the back of Waarhijd' head in an affectionate touch. At first, she only gave a pleased thrum, glad again to hear that all has been well for the Black Butterfly and to say that of course she cared, there was no need to thank her for that. But then a mirrored question came and her ears lowered slightly.
"I've seen better days, to be honest. I've seen worse, too, however. Everything will be alright in the end."
