The air here is still and old, the rocks even older.
They rise like teeth, casting long shadows over you and the grass.
Cracks and ripples form spirals, half-formed faces in the cool grey slate.
Spirits raise the hairs on your neck, skin prickling as your eyes fall across the stone basin.
Shallow but wide, stained dark and pungent with the unmistakable taint of blood. Empty now, it looks hungry.
Littering the grass, tiny shards of black; twinkling shadows of dark stone.
Jagged, sharp edges; perfect for parting skin.
Will you call for him?
Queze can not simply come and go from The Forest as he pleases..
Should you desire Queze's presence in The Forest, for RP, or a plot,
a character will need to deliver a suitable offering to Quetzalcoatl.
Queze can of course, deliver offerings himself, should he desire.
This is very much a work in
trackalackalackalackalooo.
Ka-trackz!

I don't strive to be the best, but instead I strive to do my best, and always give it my all every time.

I hope so Eyestrain, it will
Ah I don't think I've ever
I've been toying with this
To clarify, your character does not need to die...not that Queze would complain, but still, unless you want to, don't go throwing your deer at Quetzalcoatl like lemmings. lol
Feel free to RP here and if you RP as a group, only one character need offer blood. Think of it as an Aztec group discount or something.
*zooms in* too bad Kaoori
too bad Kaoori can't just demand for her old friend.
Kaoori: *brings a dead squirrel* :|
Dead squirrels totally count!
edit; and I mean, Kaoori could demand it...the mental image of her shouting herself blue in the face at a big stone is priceless. (harhar blue in the face...)
ROFL I may have to sketch
I may have to sketch that now. XD
You know you wanna draw it!
Rock: "gtfo"
I'll doodle it and post it
Kaoori: no u!
An offering so you say.To
Why do they desire blood is it so they won't wreak havok on those in this world or do they mere enjoy the blood.?
Faunet: Why do the others ask
Your words are wise dear
No disrespect taken, but make
Then take this a token merely
(pff *failed for not
That's fine:)
(No subject)
Faunet: The drops of scarlet
"Your offering pleases The Serpent and honors me, thank you...though I am sure I do not know you." He rolls muscled shoulders with a satisfying pop, blue eyes appraising you. "I have never met another human under these trees. Who are you?"
Kaoori: Omg xD that's perfect!
Brushing a hand over the
Her own blue eyes take in the man before.Bowing her head slightly in greeting."You are correct this is I believe our first encounter,My name is Tazanna but if I may what is your name."she inquires
It had been a long time since
There was one way to find out. She found a sharp spot on one of the tall stone pillars that rose from the playground, the three towering like sentinels together in the pouring rain. Wincing slightly, she pressed a foreleg against the spot, applying pressure until the skin finally gave and sliced. Blood began to pour. It mixed on the stone with the wet rain, and trailed down the length of her short leg.
She waited.
"Hello."
Faunet: An eyebrow quirks at
Kaoori: The stone sizzles and the blood sputters, burning away into black smoke that drifts through air and time. Following her scent, a red ribbon fluttering through the ethereal, he ran. The jungle crawlers and lofty canopy give way to oaks and birch, familiar rolling green hills. Stepping out from between the stones, he slithers down on one scaled knee, priestly formality.
"You honor The Serpent with this offering, Thank you, Kaoori." Standing upright his face splits with a smile and he laughs; "You are still so small!" He sweeps around her in a flurry of nuzzles, barely remembering not to crush her.
Vee: That's amazing! I'm going to work on a visual response, hopefully done later today.
She places a loosed strand of
"On a whim you say that's a different thought, but one must give respect where respect is due>It's the natural order of thing.Regardless of knowing or not knowing if one does not give respect to all walks of life ,then surely consequences will ensue."she blushed slightly"It seems I have been rambling on again sorry"she crossed her right leg over her left and bites her lower lip.
At the sight of her old
Faunet: He takes a moment to
Kaoori: Standing above her he enjoys the feeling of rain sheeting across his scales, running down the smooth contours of his mask. "Mmm yes I have returned home many times, walked different paths. Experienced 'could haves' and set right the 'should haves' of years gone by. Not all of it pleasant, not all paths lead to good places." He smiled down at his companion. "What is your home like, Kaoori. Is everyone small and blue as you are?"
She smilled to him "There is
But if you insist you can please me in another matter. You asked what respect you should show me,how about the respect of a friend"she offered her voice was sweet and kind.
Faunet: He smiles, a flash
He had expected some request for dark magics, the secrets of The Serpent, or to be set loose. To cut a bloody swath through Tazanna's enemies...were he in her place he would have asked something more useful. Unless she was hoping to lure his secrets through a bond of friendship, that is what Queze's cynical master would have said, at least. Though she didn't really look the type.
She blushed slightly at his
"Well Queze"She said pausing to see how his name sounded on her tongue.
"Each person goes through there life searching forsomething or rather someone. Now this person may have friends and family around them but it is sometihing else that crave, there other half or in other terms soul mate. My people are peaceful tribe we are strong and nurturing but we rarely fight because no one dares to destroy the balance.
Even though I am a warrior one must not forget that I have a heart that loves as well"
She looked away slightly embarrassed by her confession.
Faunet: Listening to her
(Oh lol, Queze, how do you always get yourself into these scenarios?! You haven't been back more than a few hours and you've already got your foot in your mouth. xD)
{LOLNicely done Queze} She
She chuckled and sat on the ground the coolness of the stone was nice.Seeing that he was trying to make an effort to change the topic ,she took no offence at his words.
"Hardly there are alot of men in our tribe as well as women but both genders are allowed the chance to become warriors"she shrugged smilling hopping she had eased him.
Sitting closer to her friend,
"I'm afraid no one is as blue as home as me! That's why I'm living here. They're all afraid of me." She paused. "No, everyone at home is the same; a deep brown, but small. They live in mountains, and it's much like here. Except in the spring there are miles and miles of trees that bloom pink blossoms. It's beautiful. I do miss it, but this is now my home." She glanced up at him, silently waiting for him to tell about where he'd been, his own home.
Faunet: Queze was amazed at
Kaoori: Mountains...miles of flowers. "Hmm, it sounds lovely. It must smell wonderful...heh, your homeland sounds so different from mine. The jungle has a thousand ways to kill you and a thousand more ways to weaken you so something else can kill you for it. There are plants, long and deep, absolutely foul smelling. They eat bugs and frogs that hop in and become trapped." He chuckles as though it is the most amusing of ideas. He looks off into the rain, his eyes a thousand miles away. "It isn't cold like this forest, and the trees are much closer, littered with strangle vines...the stags here with their grand antlers, hehe, they would become so tangled! Very easy prey."
Vee: In the surreal
In the surreal landscape of dreams he shifts, smiles, curls tighter.
The aroma of poppies calming and reminding him of his distant friend.
That came out looking

I've see several such
Kaoori's ears flattened as
"Stags.. easy prey? And plants... that eat other living creatures? How frightening Queze... how do you survive..?"
A white stag, plumed with red
He returned several moments later with a dove, whose throat was quickly slashed by the white stag.
"Please accept my humble offering, my Lord."
(Aztec deers unite!)
Kaoori: He chuckles, taking
Ryff: The doves white feathers curl and ignite, its blood searing the basin. Black smoke plumes and coils about the stones and you feel another nearby. "You know The Serpent's rite well, I thank you for it." The green stag circles the basin, inspecting the last of the dove as it sinks to ash. "Very fitting indeed...and those tattoos. Hm?" He watches the stag, taking his measure. Infinitely curious at the possibilities this one presents. "What are you?"
He watches the dove as if he
"...I was an emperor once. I am Monteczuma."
Ryff: The smells of burning
He too bowed, an awkward
